  Karen Snyder is a lovely photographer. She didn't photograph my wedding (yet), but she did photograph my head shots and touch them up nicely. She came to my house, was awesome with my dog and worked well with my ridiculous camera fright. She took liberties, such as suggesting different colored shirts to help the photos look the best for me. I've seen a lot of her work, including a showing of a select few photos at Tremont 647 (a popular spot in Boston), where she was a featured artist. Her wedding photos stick out to me, because in addition to capturing those great big moments, her photos seem to also focus closely on the small details, allowing any viewer to really feel the unique "vibe" of each different wedding. She also has a gift for capturing performance art!

  Karen Snyder took the most amazing pictures for us at our August 2009 wedding and reception. From our initial meeting to supplying our finished photos, she has displayed acute professionalism and unmatched responsiveness.
  
  I had seen Karen's event photography at a gallery display and loved the way she captures the moment. Looking further at her website I felt she was the photographer for us.
  
  I met with Karen to discuss our needs feeling a little at sea not knowing quite what we wanted or even what a wedding photographer does. Karen was easygoing and totally without sales pressure and worked with me to come to decisions that worked for us.
  
  We had one only firm requirement and left the rest of the photos staged and candid up to her. At our ceremony she was completely unobtrusive yet caught the most beautiful moments. Our one requirement was a group picture of all the guests and wedding party in front of the church. She took several shots serious and amusing and produced a photo that captures everyone who was there and the fun and joy of the moment. I had some nervousness about the posed photos of family and wedding party, fearing that we would look stiff. But we did not! Karen has a smooth and easy manner that kept things light and moving. I am especially pleased with the reception photos. We has such a fun party and she and her assistant took pictures that really shine with the joy of the day.
  
  Today I keep my ear out for friends and acquaintances getting married so that I can recommend Karen. She was such a pleasure to work with and every time I see my pictures I'm brought right back to that wonderful day.

  Karen was wonderful. She and her assistant listened to our ideas and had lots of great ideas of their own. They were able to capture every important moment without getting in the way at all. The photos were great. When we did have one problem with a photo album, she immediately fixed it with no extra hassle for us. I strongly recommend her to any future bride!

  Karen Snyder did a wonderful job at our wedding. She was very professional and personal at the same time. Her service from beginning to end was fantastic! I highly recommend her to anyone, in fact, she did such a wonderful job, I use her for other photo projects now!
