  BEST wedding/event planner!!!

  We had the pleasure of working with Alexis, who truly made our wedding day unforgettable! From the first consultation to the final moments of the celebration, her ability to keep everything organized and under control was outstanding. She managed every aspect seamlessly and made sure it was a smooth and stress-free experience for us. Her responsiveness and helpful ideas made the planning process easy.   Wedding of my Dreams

  I wish this would allow more than 5 stars! If you are looking for a wedding planner who you can trust and feel the utmost confidence in, look no further. Alexis and her team are the people to beat in this industry (although I don’t think that’s possible to do). From the very beginnings of the planning to the last hour, she will make sure the stress is off of you. The wedding industry is a hard one to be in with many personalities to navigate. I was a bride who wanted to be very involved in the wedding planning process (which is rare) and Alexis guided me every step of the way. From suggesting amazing vendors to keeping me on track with tasks to making sure I had every detail checked off for the day of.
  On the day of your wedding you won’t feel the need to worry one bit because you know her team has you. Alexis has a back up plan for any and every scenario and she will make sure, no matter what happens, she has your back and has a solution without you even knowing something went different as planned. She is so connected in the Dallas and Austin area you basically don’t even need to look for vendors because they’re at your fingertips if you work with Karis Concepts. I would not have had the day I had without her and Savannah on my side. If you want your important day to go smoothly and without a hitch, I couldn’t recommend Karis Concepts more. Thank you for making my day the best it could have ever been!

  Thank you for an absolutely perfect day

  Alexis is a fantastic wedding planner and made us feel taken care of every step of the way. She worked seamlessly with our other vendors and had wonderful suggestions that fit our needs for vendors we hadn't chosen yet. Having her on the vendor calls and vendor meets to ask the questions we wouldn't think about was so valuable. If we were to do it again, the first thing we'd do after getting engaged is start talking to Karis Concepts and get them in the process as soon as possible! The weekly check ins were also extremely helpful. She was always there to make sure we were staying on top of our checklist so the wedding day would go as smoothly as possible; and it did! It was an absolutely perfect day. The day of we didn't have to lift a finger and if there was a situation that needed action Alexis handled it behind the scenes and left us to enjoy our special day. We couldn't have asked for a better planner to spend our wedding season with!

  Worth EVERY penny

  Alexis was technically our month-of-coordinator, but she did so much more than that and was an amazing resource and soundboard starting from our first intro call... Alexis is so organized, thorough, and flexible. She is very communicative (text, email, regular calls, etc.) and had amazing suggestions throughout the process in terms of timeline, vendors, and small but meaningful ways we can make our wedding more personalized and more "us".
  Our wedding turned out so perfect. It was truly the most fun day ever and beyond our wildest dreams. Alexis was SO on her A game (as per usual) and made sure everything went off without a hitch.
  We could go on and on about how much we love Alexis and how much she added to our wedding planning experience / wedding day... Alexis was an absolute joy to work with and she took away so much of our stress, had great ideas that materialized beautifully, and ensured that the whole wedding day ran smoothly. 10/10 would recommend.

  Wedding of our dreams!

  Alexis was absolutely made to be an event planner. Her attention to detail and communication skills make her an easy choice above the rest! She allowed us to brainstorm ideas and would return with exactly what we had in mind (almost like magic). Our wedding would not have been as stunning and well organized without her. If you are on the fence about whether or not a planner is needed, as we were, the answer is a resounding YES!

  Alexis was absolutely made to be an event planner. Her attention to detail and communication skills make her an easy choice above the rest! She allowed us to brainstorm ideas and would return with exactly what we had in mind (almost like magic). Our wedding would not have been as stunning and well organized without her.   Alexis was amazing

  Alexis was KEY to making sure our wedding went off without a hitch! I was living in Costa Rica while my soon-to-be wife was thrust into full planning mode by herself—- then in walks Alexis. Hiring her was the best thing we could have done to have an incredible wedding. Alexis had weekly meeting with us via zoom and even helped by making a checklist-contacting vendors-walking the venue early- and making sure my wife had everything set-up for a flawless day. On the day of the wedding Alexis kept the timeline running, reminded us of special things we wanted to do (you end up being very forgetful on your wedding day), and even ordered our Uber for the end of the night/grand exit. It was incredible. Alexis was the best money spent for our wedding!

  The vendor you didn't know you needed

  I cannot say enough to thank Alexis (Karis) for making my husband and I's wedding day an absolute dream. Especially the wedding planning! All green flags from Alexis from the first time we spoke: She is extremely detail oriented, makes sure herself and the bride mesh well before moving forward with booking to make sure it's a good fit, and ensured she would go above and beyond to keep our line of communication open always during wedding planning. Let me say, she exceeded all expectations a bride could really have throughout the year and a half we worked together. I did not initially plan to hire a coordinator, but boy am I glad I did. I genuinely felt like I had a friend helping me wedding plan every little detail. On the wedding day, I barely did a thing other than get ready! Alexis was ON TOP of it. Even though wedding planning is a notoriously stressful season, I genuinely missed our meetings because she was such a joy.
  Again, I can't brag on her enough. If you're wondering if you need a wedding planner/ coordinator, do it!!!!

She has quickly sky rocketed to the top of the industry in Dallas. I will use her for all events moving forward (not just weddings). She’s one of a kind!

  Alexis is the best in the game!

  Alexis was an absolute dream to work with! My ~*husband*~ and I adored her. She's hardworking, detail-oriented, and organized, and went above and beyond for us on our wedding day. Her help with preparation kept us on track and she was putting out fires I didn't even know existed until the day after our wedding. I know I would have been 1000x more stressed without her. I could not recommend her enough!! I'll be giving her name out to all of my friends and family getting married or looking to throw an event. Huge thank you again, Alexis, you're an absolute dream!

  The perfect planner for a perfect day!!

  Alexis made our day absolutely perfect. Every detail was thought through and planned to a tee. We had zero worries on our special day. We even had trouble with another vendor that we didn't even know about until after the wedding because she handled it so seamlessly. Alexis truly thought of everything for our day and worked with the other vendors to ensure our day came together even better than we dreamed. She went above and beyond in everything she did and our day would not have been as beautiful without her! If you want a worry free wedding day that you will want to relive forever, Alexis is your planner!

  The best of the best

  First, let me start by saying not only are they the best, but they made my wedding a dream come true. Alexis and Haley are great at keeping track of everything, constantly in communication, and always there when you need them. Seriously, I cried so much during the ceremony and Alexis glued my lashes back on before photos. If you’ve ever seen the movie “The Wedding Planner”, this is them. Walkie talkies and all. We’ve had our guests come up and compliment how amazing they are.
  Highly recommend.

  First, let me start by saying not only are they the best, but they made my wedding a dream come true.   Alexis is amazing!

  The biggest advice I can give anyone is that getting a wedding planner should be the first thing you do BEFORE picking a venue or anything else. By the time I booked with Alexis, we already had most of our big decisions made and she helped us deal with so many headaches from our venue. She has your back and will ask all of the right questions. Our final decisions for day of were all over the place because we moved our wedding inside so it was a mess, full chaos. It definitely put more stress on Alexis and her team but on the day of the wedding, she was nothing but smiles and positive energy. She was by my side keeping me updated and ready for the next move and she's so composed, I couldn't tell if she was even stressed so it helped me relax and enjoy the day. She really takes the reigns and gets it done. We had cute little handouts for our ceremony that I never finished cutting, I figured we would just be short, but I walked down and saw Alexis cutting the rest of them out!! I hadn't even told her about them!! I could go on forever. She made our day SOOOO perfect. We had so many issues with our venue and were expecting things to not go as planned but she made it happen.   Best wedding planner, ever!

  Alexis and Brick and Ivy was the best money ever spent for a Wedding Planner! Literally, everything on my big day went SEAMLESS and she was extremely organized. Alexis came to the table with so many ideas, thoughts, considerations, so many things I didn't even think of - to make sure everything was covered and perfect for our big day. Alexis dealt with all of my vendors; planned every single little detail out so I literally didn't even have to worry about it.   Alexis and Brick and Ivy was the best money ever spent for a Wedding Planner! Literally, everything on my big day went SEAMLESS and she was extremely organized. Alexis came to the table with so many ideas, thoughts, considerations, so many things I didn't even think of - to make sure everything was covered and perfect for our big day.   Have you ever gone to a wedding and one of the biggest compliments you get from your friends and family is how amazing your wedding coordinator/planner is? WELL, Alexis was a STAR! So many of my friends and family have worked in the wedding industry and were in awe of how kind, professional, and wonderful Alexis was! I knew all this--- but that's because Alexis started helping me as soon as she was hired. Alexis is nothing short of all around incredible. Starting months out, she would have little check-ins with me. Then she helped me with lists, and coordination, and confirmation. I'm not exaggerating, I COULD NOT have had the amazing wedding I ended up having WITHOUT ALEXIS! She was the best money we spent on our wedding (I know it's a weird way to put that), but If I could go back in time, I would have hired her SOONER. She even helped me post-wedding with questions and concerns I had with some vendors. 10/10 If I ever have another large event and need help planning, I'm hiring Alexis!

  Unmatched Coordination Services

  Alexis was great to work with from the start! She was so helpful with the little details and keeping us on track leading up to our wedding. Haley was our day of coordinator for the wedding, and she ran the show flawlessly. If anything was not going to plan, we did not notice. We had to do some audibles because of the rain but there were no missteps with that. It was a great team to work with and if needed coordinators again, we would choose this team!

  Alexis and her assistant Keaton were a god send y’all, they knocked it out of the freaking park. Do you want a planner that feels like a bestie, has your back, can gracefully command a room, is such an impressive go-getter, and operates with integrity and joyfulness? Book Brick and Ivy Events, like, yesterday! It was SO important to me for all of our vendor partners to feel like “our people” - warm, joyful, fun, etc. I dreamed of finding a planner that was all those things, and most importantly - one that I could trust. One of my bridesmaids referred me to Alexis of Brick and Ivy Events, and it was hands down one of our best decisions in the entire planning process. Alexis and Keaton went above and beyond the call of duty with warm introductions, the sweetest engagement gift, increasing Zoom calls leading up to the big day, flexibility amidst our postponements (yes, plural), and such intentional professional presence on the day-of. Truly WOW! To some, my mom and sister and I may have been an enthusiastic (and perhaps daunting) trio — designing the wedding, doing our own florals (!!!), planning every last detail of the weekend…I mean, that requires a lot of faith from your planning team. But without fail, every single Zoom call and update and plot twist, Alexis and Keaton met our (sometimes crazy) ideas with quick understanding, joyful enthusiasm, and a can-do attitude. Their checklist throughout the process helped give us peace of mind that we were dotting all of our i’s and crossing all the t’s. They offered suggestions to our ideas that needed perfecting, and they leaned into our ideas that were so crazy, they just might work. Our venue’s General Manager shared that, in their post-event debrief, they had concluded that our wedding weekend was absolutely “perfect.” Alexis and Keaton were such solid rocks for us throughout the planning process, they were simply a joy to work with and executed our wedding day flawlessly.   Alexis was nothing short of amazing. I was able to hand everything over to her and enjoy our big day. Her attention to detail, ability to wrangle my crazy a** bridal party, family and keep the vendors in line and on top of their game....just perfection. Highly recommend Alexis, she is awesome!!!!

  Best Decision I Made!

  Alexis and her team are amazing! She turned all my wedding visions into reality. I loved every bit on my wedding and that was all due to Alexis! She gave me such great ideas when planning and helped me find some of the best vendors that could make it happen. On the actual day she made sure I was only having a great time while she took over the stresses of the day which I am forever grateful for. She is there to help you with anything you may need. Without her I would have been lost. Alexis helped make my wedding day the best day of my life. I can't thank her enough for her patience, creativity, and kindness!
