  fun, cool and collected

  Kat was amazing to work with! It literally never stopped raining on our wedding day. She got crafty and found fun indoor locations for photos. I was very anxious before church and I am so thankful she was so organized and firm making sure my list of pictures were complete. We just got our wedding photos back from her- we are in love with them. Highly recommend her!!

  A total pro who does beautiful work.

  Kat shot our wedding in Chicago this Fall and working with her was such a satisfying experience. She gave really clear and easy directions while posing us for portraits before the ceremony, and we're so impressed by the quality and depth of coverage she was able to achieve during the ceremony and reception. The end results beautifully encapsulate the fun that we had and I think that's the most someone could ever expect from an event photographer.

By the end of our wedding she felt like a friend along for the ride with our wedding party. She is a pro at staging shots, wrangling big groups, and capturing subtle, beautiful moments without anyone even noticing she's there. Also significant -- we received our complete wedding photos LESS THAN THREE WEEKS after the big day!! Even the morning after our wedding she had already shared with us 20+ edited shots so we could relive the big day and plaster social media with her incredible work.   I found Kat online after searching through tons of photographers. She has a cool, laid-back personality that made me feel very comfortable. She was super easy to coordinate with and answered any and all questions quickly and thoroughly. She found a great place for us to take our engagement photos after the original place I had wanted did not work out. She and Adam photographed our wedding and we had a blast with them. Kat even had previews posted the same night as the wedding! We received over 1000 edited photos just two weeks after the wedding. They totally captured the ambiance of our wedding. I highly recommend Kat and her associates!!

  Kat did a phenomenal job photographing our wedding! She was responsive, helpful, and definitely had a vision that helped us make our wedding what it was. She flew into Boston and was communicative about her timing and everything leading up to it, and answered any and all questions I had. The day of she was so easy going and great to work with, while still being firm on timing and picture taking which I really appreciated (for the bride there is a lot going on!) We got our pictures today and I couldn't be happier, the hardest part is going to be figuring out which ones to print! Thank you again!

  Kat and her assistant were perfect. They understood and executed exactly what we wanted! They were also super fun to have around the day of our wedding. We had a Photo Booth which Kat and her staff provided - it was a big hit with the guests and created such a cool guest book. Our pictures came out perfect and we couldn't be happier with their services! I've already recommended Kat/Eye to friends who are looking for a photographer!

  Kat was my wedding photographer for both the ceremony and reception. Kat has a great personality, was a pleasure to work with, was very responsive and very organized. But most of all, her photos came out beautifully. I would recommend Kat to everyone.

  Kat was an amazing photographer. We found her on craigslist and were nervous at first, but she was extremely friendly and affordable. Not only did the photos turn out excellent, and to our specific requests, but she made it a fun quick time taking all the family pictures. The shots of the ceremony itself were remarkable. We still have no idea how she was able to take so many pictures from so many angles. The entire wedding party loved her. She has a knack for making people feel comfortable. It was like having an old friend taking your pictures. The shots are very professional looking and unique. She did a great job catching all the emotions.

  Kat was amazing and did a wonderful job! She is open to ideas about the type of pictures you want and she does an amazing job at capturing all kinds of moments! Price was VERY reasonable .. especially when she is so talented! Very down to earth and an overall amazing person!

  I can't say I've ever worked with any other professional photographer, but after working with Kat, I would not want to. She was so friendly and quick to respond to my emails. She came out in Oct and did a free engagement session, which allowed her to get to know her and us her. She was great. She did our formal photos quickly so we could get to and fully enjoy our cocktail hour. While extremely professional, it feels as if you are working with one of your close friends.

  We could not have been happier with Kat and her services. She is punctual, personable, professional, fun, but most of all, a great photographer! She was great at both giving us ideas, and working with what we wanted. We thought she was great at blending in and getting shots on the wedding day, and we LOVE the pictures! No hesitation, we recommend Kat wholeheartedly!

  Kat was the perfect photographer for us! After searching through tons of photographer websites that all seemed the same (and insanely priced), we found Kat. We were looking for someone that we would be comfortable having around on a very personal day, someone who would direct us when needed and step back at other times. That was Kat. She was great at helping us figure out timelines for the morning of, suggesting when she should arrive, and helping direct our formal photos. At the same time, she was able to capture some really private moments (pep talk from my dad right before the ceremony, hanging out between the ceremony and reception) by quietly being present in the background.
  
  We had a CD of proofs waiting at home when we returned from the honeymoon and they're great! Could seriously not have asked for a better photographer.

  Kat/Eye Studios was one of the most memorable and fantastic photographers I have ever had the pleasure of working with. She was extremely professional and for the cost did an amazing job. So many of my guests were very pleased with her. She came to my in-laws home and took beautiful photos while myself and the girls were getting ready. I had my proofs within two weeks of the wedding and all of them were wonderful. It was very hard to narrow them down for the final editing !!

  Most of the photos turned out wonderfully, however, it seems as though some of the details were missed throughout the process (e.g. when we were looking through the photos on their website they had forgotten to upload the dancing pictures and there were several unattractive photos that had not been edited out). Overall though we were very pleased.

  Kat was great to work with. I was an out of town bride and worked very hard to schedule meetings during my visits in town. She rescheduled our first meeting which I was very frustrated by. Other than that she was very responsive to my emails and worked incredibly hard at the wedding. She got some great shots and honored the list of photos I asked for. I booked her with a holiday discount so the value was the main selling point in hiring her. My only other complaint would be that she didn't look very professional during the wedding. Otherwise she was a good choice and I was pleased.
