Molly Sent on 11/24/2013I can finally say from personal experience that Kat is the BEST photographer out there. My husband and I finally had our shoot with Kat and it was even better than I expected. I stupidly didn't take the opportunity to ditch my wedding photographer (who was completely awful, I will NEVER recommend her) and go with Kat. I have been kicking myself since our wedding because of it. And obsessing over Kat's wedding photos of all her clients, SUPER jealous of all of them. Just tugs at my heart seeing it because I didn't have a good experience whatsoever for my wedding. However, thank GOD I was able to book her for our 1-year anniversary shoot!! Over the past year+ she has actually become a friend of mine, which she never had to do. But she made such an incredibly natural effort to stay in touch, as did I. She is phenomenal, an incredible person with an incredible talent for photography. She so effortlessly captures the true love and emotion people have for one another, whether it be couples, family, dogs, beaches, skies, etc. My husband hates taking photos but even he was so happy during our shoot. Kat Hanafin is incredible, through and through. When we eventually have children, she will be my first call for a pregnancy shoot and family shoots. I will be recommending Kat Hanafin to every single one of my friends and family members for their weddings. She is just so fun and so talented. You can never go wrong if you choose her! I swear by her. Words cannot explain how amazing of a photographer she is! -

She is extremely talented, very professional and fun to be around!! She has also taken many of our family portraits. My children adore her and my family looks forward to receiving the pictures every year. I have several of her canvases in my home that I have received countless compliments on. Kat's photographs are gorgeous and artistic. She works with her clients to capture their special moments and really listens to them. She has become a dear friend and she will be taking photographs of our entire family for many years I hope!!

Pam Sent on 01/15/2013Working with Kat doesn't mean you're just getting a photographer, you're getting a friend! From the beginning, when I met her at her studio, I was immediately comfortable with her and knew from just the few suggestions she had, she knew what she was doing. Living across the country from Kat made no impact on our relationship, as she was always available by email, phone or even skype! As a bit of a procrastinator myself, Kat was able to keep me in line and always went with the flow - her flexibility in her work ethic was just what I needed, even down to the day of the wedding when trolley's weren't where they were supposed to be, Kat got things handled and everyone in the right place without a second though. Working with Kat is like hanging out with a friend, my husband and I enjoyed every second of being with her from taking our engagement pictures to viewing the final wedding pictures. On top of her awesome personality, her work speaks for itself and the pictures are amazing. Her talent shines through in every picture, and we will cherish them for life. I promise you will not be disappointed when you work with Kat! -

Casey Sent on 06/23/2010Kat Hanafin photography is up and coming, but won't be so for long. This girl is absolutely oozing talent - ok, that sounds weird. Please though, just check out her blog (http://kathanafin.com/wordpress/) to see an array of amazing pictures, as well as get a sense for this funny, amazingly down-to-earth and incredibly talented artist. Kat was so generous with her time from the get-go, and it was a joy to be able to spend my day with her by my side. If that wasn’t enough, I saw the pictures, shared the pictures, and haven’t stopped hearing from everyone I know (and all of their friends) just how amazing her pictures are. Creative, candid, in the moment is how I describe her style. Her work tells the story of the day, and I am so happy to have her pictures to remind me and my husband of all the fun we had on our wedding day.
