  I was really nervous about choosing a photographer for our wedding. I was uncomfortable with the idea of someone following us around and making us pose for unnatural shots. But then I met Kate! Right away she put me at ease and explained that she wanted us to think of her not as our photographer, but rather feel like “Oh hey! Kates here!!”. The engagement shoot made all the difference (just like she said it would). I felt like she was a good friend rather than a stranger taking my picture. Her excitement and lovely smile were contagious. Its apparent that she loves what she does – which made me enjoy the process even more. She kept us relaxed and let us act “normal” together (I was worried it would all feel and look too calculated). Not to mention she was totally excited about photographing us in a canoe!!! Awesome. Many guests at our wedding commented on how great she was, and after seeing the photos they were even more impressed. Her shots absolutely captured the feeling of our day and complimented the outdoor and historical venue. ALSO, the album she put together for us is amazing – all of my already-married friends are so jealous she didn’t do theirs!!!! In all, Kate was a pleasure to work with, both in person and via email/phone. She is patient, professional and gracious and pays close attention to the details. She took great care to make everything perfect. I’m so lucky to have found her and can’t wait to work with her again!!!

  Kate has to be the absolute BEST photographer! We were referred to Kate by one of her colleagues who was already booked for our wedding date and could not be happier to have worked with her. From the very beginning, Kate was extremely responsive and took great pride in her services. Included in our package was an engagement session which was a great opportunity to get to know her as well as her shooting style/picture quality. We were blown away when we received our engagement picutres and cannot wait to see how the wedding pictures turn out. Throughout the process she was organized and contacted us at regular intervals to see if we had any questions. She also helped steer us in deciding our shot list. On the day of our wedding, she and her assistant did a fabulous job of scouting out additional spaces for pictures and were not "in the way" during the ceremony/reception. I could go on and on about her professionalism, quality of work, and her kind/fun-loving personality. You will not regret booking Kate for your wedding or other event...she is truly a one of a kind photographer who takes great pride in her craft which is reflected in all she does for her clients.

  Kate did our engagement pictures and our wedding pictures and they were all absolutely AMAZING! Fantastic quality too.

  I absolutely love Kate!! She is one amazing photographer. I especially like the style in which she shoots. It isn't to much of posing and a studio look, she has such a unique eye that captures all the special moments that matter the most. Kate goes for the more natural and relaxed look. I HATE having pictures taken of myself, but with Kate she makes you feel so comfortable and defintely gives you photos of yourself that you will enjoy looking at- even if you are very self conscious. I would 100% recommend Kate Callahan's Photography to any bride that is looking to preserve precious moments of their most special day.

  I would (AND DO OFTEN) recommend Kate Callahan to anybody looking for beautiful and natural pictures of their wedding, kids, family, or even self. From the first time we worked with Kate she had all of my worries about having my picture taken gone and we spent the day laughing and of course got amazing pictures. The biggest problem is that there are always so many good ones that I never know how to pick! Kate's style is simple and gorgeous. She captures the moments that you don't even realize are the most perfect pictures. We loved her work on our engagement session and wedding so much that we are now doing her "first year plan" to capture tons and tons of memories of our daughter's first year of life. I have recieved so many complements on all of her pictures hanging around our house and people are especially impressed with our wedding album, she did a superb job putting together a pictoral story of our happy day that we love to pull out and look at all of the time. We will continue to come back to Kate through the years for any photography needs as my kids, my husband and I love her and we are all in love with her beautiful work!!

  Kate was such an amazing photographer to work with on such an important day. She captured priceless memories and moments that I love to look back on! We were honored to work with such a talented person! Everyone is amazed at our pictures!! She continues to work with us and photograph our baby.
