  Adventurous, caring, talented

  "for the adventurous lovers" is the perfect way to describe Katherine Ilona Photography. Katie went above and beyond to help me plan my Arizona adventure engagement pictures. I am BEYOND words with how incredible the pictures turned out. Katie has such a special way of making us feel comfortable in front of her lens. She listened to what my dream photos were in each location and made sure we were able to capture them along with ones she envisioned. They all came out amazing and I have had endless compliments about them. Katie found out she has a little blessing on the way and she still powered through and hike mountains to make my engagement dreams come true! She is a Five star photographer and a Five star human!!!! You will not regret booking her to capture this special moment in time!! Thank you again Katie!!!!

  Katie is so much more than just a photographer.

  She went ABOVE AND BEYOND. Katie was willing to adapt to the constant change of wedding plans due to COVID-19, all with a smile on her face. She did it all on my wedding day, from fixing my dress and veil every few minutes, helped us stay on track throughout the day, and spent extra time with my husband and I to get the perfect photos. Katie instantly made me feel at ease on my wedding day, and I appreciate all she did to make it the best day. Though she made us feel comfortable, she also got us out of our comfort zone which created the BEST pictures. She even went out of her way to climb on top of the venue stairs to get some magical shots. ;)

  Katie was so wonderful to work with and provided beautiful photographs for my engagement photos and wedding! She masterfully handled our crazy wedding party and went above and beyond to stay in touch throughout the entire wedding planning process! She was even emailing and checking in with me THE WEEK OF HER OWN WEDDING! I would highly recommend Katherine Ilona Photography to anyone seeking photography services for their wedding!

  This girl!

  Neither I nor my husband have ever worked with a professional photographer before so we didn’t know what to expect. We asked if we could meet her for coffee to go over details and questions we had before we signed anything and we both fell in love. You can’t get a more personable and passionate photographer who will put their soul into your photos than this girl right here. We booked her for our engagement and wedding photos and every single photo is beautiful. she made the sessions super fun and tells you exactly what to do. Especially on our wedding day, I was so concerned about being away from family and friends (because everyone knows pictures can take forever at a wedding) Katie knew this and made sure we captured as many as we could before the ceremony and the only stole the bride and groom for 45 minutes and of course captured the most intimate moments. It was one of my favorite parts of our day. Bottom line, Katie is amazing and we wouldn’t have wanted anyone else to capture the most important time of our lives.

  So much more than just a photographer!

  Katie is incredible! I was truly in awe of the photos that she was able to capture from our wedding day. Within 12 hours of the wedding, she hadn't slept so that she could send me some sneak peak photos of our day. I must have looked through those same five photos 20 times during my flight the next day. I am still amazed how she truly captured our moment in those photos; she has so much talent and vision for the photographs. The energy that she brings and the effort that she puts into making your day unforgettable is unlike everyone I've ever met. From bustling up my dress twice in the middle of the reception to giving me her sweater between photos in the snow to warm up, she truly is so much more than a photographer. She helped make our wedding day so special, and I know that the photos that she captured will be ones that we cherish for many years to come.

  Friendly, Fun, Talented Photographer!

  Katie is amazing! We could not have enjoyed our session with her more. We felt she truly captured our joy and happiness and we will treasure our photos. Katie felt like a long lost friend and she had us laughing and smiling non-stop. I would highly recommend her for any big life event you would like to document, from an engagement to wedding, to couples sessions or pregnancy announcement - event family portraits! She was a delight and a true talent and we will definitely work with her again.

  Our Wedding

  From the very beginning stages of our wedding planning, it was evident that she had a passion for photography and capturing big moments in the lives of others. She was there every step of the way in the process, and was more than flexible to make sure she got everything just right. The day of the wedding, she took time to capture moments I had specifically requested, and her work is nothing short of intimate, personal, and full of love. I am in awe of my wedding photos, and know I have a friend to reach out to for photography needs anytime!!

  Amazing Wedding Photographer 15/10 would recommend

  Amazing wedding photographer. I’d give her a 15/10 if it was possible. Katherine was a joy to work with from the start. She helped me with the entire planning process and met with me three times just to work on timeline, dress suggestions, and flowers (she’s not even a florist). On wedding day she captured the most amazing images.
  
  Dan was really uncomfortable with having professional photos taken because he’s never done it before and she made it fun and natural. He left our engagement session and wedding saying how much fun he had taking pictures which I never ever thought I would hear. She was the best wedding photographer. She even sewed one of my bridesmaids into her dresses and ironed the pants for all the groomsmen. The pictures were emotive, candid, authentic, and real. She captured all of the moments we could have wanted a more. She was kind and professional to all of our guests and beyond exceeded expectations. The moment we got the gallery delivered I not only started crying but I put so many of the images up on the walls. So grateful to her for capturing the best day of our lives so beautiful. Recommended to ALL of my girlfriends.

I couldn’t have dreamed of a better photography for my low-key, ((slightly)) adventurous wedding and engagement sessions! She did so much for me that day— coordinating my first look with my soon to be husband, helping me put on my faux eyelashes 😂, talking with me and making me feel special (and much more!).   Wedding/Engagement/Rehearsal dinner photographer

  A dream come true. So thankful that Katie photographed the best day of our life and made our pictures incredible-even when I thought the rain would mess up all I had planned. Highly recommend her!!

  Katie not only had an affordable package for our budget but I fell in love with her photography style. I went back and forth on bridal portraits but I am so thankful I decided to have them taken! We went on an adventure and hiked Hanging Rock mountain for a breathtaking view of sunset and mountains in the background. The view was worth the work and the photos were well worth the price and hike to get to the top!

The photographer was the most important aspect of our wedding day and Katie fit the style I wanted perfectly! She was always there to capture a photo and looking back at the photos I can see things about my wedding day that I missed with everything that was going on. I am so thankful she was there to capture all the special little details from our wedding day! I love being able to share the photos with our family and friends and I am extremely satisfied with the quality of the photos that I cannot wait to show them off in our home and as gifts!! I highly recommend Katie for bridal and wedding photography and although we did not take photos for an engagement session I have seen her work for those sessions and the way she captures the love and story of each couple is unbelievable!
