I am so thrilled that I went with Kathy Huynh Artistry as my glam squad for our wedding day, who provided hair and make-up services for myself and my bridal party. Throughout the process, Kathy, Amy, and her team were communicative and easy to work with. I was immediately impressed during the trial, as Kathy and Amy gave such care and attention to detail in order to co-create the look I wanted - and they nailed it! Kathy worked absolute magic in understanding the soft and natural yet still elevated profile I was hoping for. I really noted how much she took my feedback in, adjusting every aspect along the way. Amy is also a master at her craft for getting me to fall in love with an elegant updo, which I usually never went for before. Getting photos and videos back, I am still floored by their amazing talents. Although they thoughtfully provided a touchup kit, very little was actually needed, as everything remained in place and not a smudge was in sight (and tears were indeed shed that day). Amy also expertly guided my bridal party on how to let some curls out for my half up/half down look during the reception, and it all still kept up beautifully after a night of dancing. I can’t recommend Kathy Huynh Artistry highly enough for any beauty needs and hope to book them again for future special occasions. -

I'm so glad I booked with KHA beauty team! They provided me, my bridal party and moms with the best service and made us all look phenomenal on the big day for HMU. I had also hired the Sr. Artist for my engagement shoot as a trial and we tested out the trending Hollywood waves as a hairstyle, but it wasn't for me. It's so important to perform a HMU trial for this reason!! We ended up going with a half-up/half-down mermaid style braid which was GORGEOUS, while my bridal party had mixed hair incorporating a braid. I also was hesitant about the heaviness of makeup (hence requesting soft glam), however it photographed so well and the biggest compliment was that it was an elevated version of myself. KHA is a gem in the Instagram wedding beauty world as the pricing for HMU has skyrocketed lately based on some popular names in the OC area, but the professionalism and value you receive here is amazing for the price paid. -

THANK YOU KHA for doing hair and make up for 10+ girls on my wedding day! Kathy and Amy brought their team and got all of us ready on time, with every single person looking gorgeous once they were finished! I constantly kept getting compliments and the hair and make up held up the entire night perfectly :) Kathy and Amy are so sweet and really care about giving you the perfect bridal look. I'm so grateful I chose KHA for my wedding day and highly recommend them ! -

First off, this review doesn't even describe how well the services were provided for myself as the bride. As the bride, Kathy and Amy are seriously a dynamic duo!!! I contacted them as I found them on instagram through a friend who used them as a makeup/hair artist. I have been following them for awhile and when it was time for contacting them I did. They have great communication and are prompt with responding in the emails.
I did my trial March 2019 as I did the day of our engagement shoot. Kathy and Amy made me feel so at ease and asked the right questions and I trusted their instinct and professionalism. I wanted a natural look and Kathy pulled it off. I trusted her because I am the type of person who doesn't really wear make up a lot. She made me feel at ease and comfortable. Amy is amazing when it came to hair. I have thin hair and I have a spot that is just balding"due to stress probably" haha. She covered that spot up so well and in my engagement pictures it doesn't show at all. I got so many compliments from my engagement photos. The makeup and hair lasted all day as my trial was from 6-8am and my engagement shoot wasn't until 5pm in Joshua Tree.
Forward to May 2019, the wedding day is here. They were on time to the hotel and were so prepared because I got a suite and i didn't know we had enough space/furniture that they needed. They came in the suite and literally worked the room like a BOSS! That room was transformed in like 5-10minutes and we got started right away. They were more than on schedule and things went so smoothly. There was myself, 5 bridesmaids, 4 family members, and flower girl hair. Kathy brought 3 other team members (Linda, Yen, and Julie) with her and she made it work! We were more than on time to the venue and everyone loved their hair and makeup. Everyone that got their hair and makeup done was so happy how professional, nice, and easy going they were. They loved their looks that day.
Speaking for myself as the bride, I loved my look even more the day of the wedding. I felt super gorgeous on my wedding day!!! I even went darker lipstick that day because I wanted too! LOL. My makeup and hair stayed all night even with me dancing at my wedding. I love to dance. I only had to blot once and makeup stayed on just fine. Hair curls was intact all night just a little looser because I danced the night off! I love to dance and I told them I would dance. Loved my look. My wedding party and family all complimented how well Kathy and her team did. My mother in law even said it seemed as if Kathy and I were old time friends from long ago. I told her no I just met Kathy. LOL. That is how comfortable I was. This review cannot describe how grateful I am for my day and I completely recommend her if you are debating about your makeup and hair artists.
This will tell you how much I loved them that I booked a hair/makeup session with them in June 2019 for my cousin's wedding for myself and my mom because we will be taking lots of family photos again that day as well.

I really enjoyed Kathy Huynh Artistry! I’m glad to have found them through a reference from another makeup vendor, they were very professional and helped make my wedding vision come true! They respected my input and together we came up with a beautiful look for me for my wedding. I’m very satisfied with the work and would recommend them to my friends! -

Kathy Huynh Artistry came with high recommendations from family and friends, so after I got engaged I hired them for my wedding day without looking anywhere else, and I was not disappointed!
I had the pleasure of having Linda do my hair while Julie did my makeup and they both made me look like a princess! Shoutout to Jen and Oono as well for making my bridesmaids, mother, and mother-in-law look so incredible for my big day! -

There is not enough words to explain how amazing Kathy and Amy are! Right from the beginning and throughout the whole process they were so friendly and patient.
It can be awkward sitting in a chair and having people you don't know so close to your face, but they both made me feel so comfortable both during my trial and on the actual wedding day. They are both so easy to talk to.
I had a large bridal party/group needing their hair and make up done ... 17 to be exact and their team were able to finish my bridal party, mom, mother in law, grandma, and cousin's make up all on time.
Kathy did my make up and Amy did my hair and also custom made my hairpiece for me. My wedding was beach themed and I wanted my wedding colors apart of the design and Amy was able to make my vision possible. I got many compliments on my hairpiece.
My make up stayed on all day/night long! I barely got oily. Usually I always get super oily around my T zone area within a few hours, but Kathy was able to apply my make up to prevent that from happening! Both my bridal party and I were surprised by how well my make up stayed put during an outdoor July wedding. It actually lasted from 10:30am until 1pm the next day! Only
thing I had to touch up was my lipstick.
It was such a pleasure working with them.
I definitely would hire them again if I had a special occasion to go to. Thank you again ladies!
