  We had a wonderful experience with Katie and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for hair and make-up services. She is so easy to talk to and does a great job of translating what you ask for into beautiful results. Everyone in my party, from moms to flower girls had something done and raved about how great Katie was.
  
  She has a great technique that makes even the girls who never wear make-up feel comfortable and confident about their look.
  
  Her make-up application was flawless and stood up to my super oily skin and near 100 degree heat. Unfortunately I had a terrible haircut a week before my wedding(which was only supposed to be a trim) and she was able to rework the style I had from my consultation into a sweet up-do.
  
  Pros: Thorough and comprehensive consultation; very responsive and professional correspondences - via email (great for busy working brides); wonderful and personable attitude; great style and taste level; really understands techniques for ethnic eyes (those of Asian decent will know what I mean); will travel to location
  
  Cons: That I can't have her do my hair and make-up every day

  I was looking for a talented and affordable hair stylist and make-up artist for my wedding. I wanted to look elegant but not too done up. No one was meeting my expectations - some may say that I'm picky but I just wasn't finding the people who can interpret what I wanted (having pink on your dress does NOT mean your eyes should have a glob of hot pink on it, people!!). I set up a trial session with Katie after being referred to her by someone we both know.
  
  I have a habit of judging my vendors as soon as I walk into their business environment because everything about it tells me more of their character. We had the trial session at Katie's in home studio. She presented a neat and comfortable place where I was able to relax amidst all my wedding planning chaos. She was friendly, professional, and really listened to what I wanted. Since she was able to translate what I wanted, especially the make-up, I booked her right after the trial (for myself as well as my bridesmaids) - she seemed to know the difference between flashy and trashy.
  
  Katie pleasantly surprised me on my wedding day. I remember discussing hair ornaments, such as crystals or flowers, at trial. I ended up not being able to find anything special for my hair but did not mention this to Katie. She came to my house prepared with beautiful silk flower hairpins for the whole bridal party. I had mentioned the colors of the wedding and she made the pins just the perfect shade that matched our outfits! She made these hairpins herself so they're one of a kind. You can see some of the amazing hairpins in the pictures she posted. The hairstyle turned out even better than the one she did for the trial. Her gorgeous hairpins completed the style. The make-up, of course, was fabulous! She made me look elegant and alert every moment of the day, even when I was dead tired. Everyone was asking about Katie that day day.
  
  I had such a positive experience with Katie on my wedding day that we are now in a permanent relationship! :) She has become my official hair/makeup person - she made me like make up. I have booked her for every wedding that I've been invited to since my own event. Anyone who knows me well can tell you that my repeated usage of Katie's services speaks volumes of how much I value her. Katie provides superior services with highly affordable prices.

Her make up and hair is natural and flawless and it gives me a fresh look every time. I enjoy her work and her professionalism. She's punctual, professional and flexible with my request. My recent hair and make up with her is in November 2009 for my maternity portraits and I love it. She pays careful attention to details and know what to do to bring out the natural beauty on my face. She focuses on making me look natural yet glamorous at the same time. She’s flawless, doesn’t get frazzled, and knows the latest techniques for all hair styles and make up. Katie is very amazing person to work with. She knows how to do your hair exactly how you want it. Also, she apply makeup in a very professional manner and know how to make a person feel relax (I felt very nervous rat on that day) and look beautiful. Katie did an awesome job to customize my hairpieces- I loved it. I wish I could take a picture and post it for you guys to check it out, but my camera is broken after my honey-moon. Overall, it is very worth a call to schedule and meet with Katie to discuss your hair and makeup needs. Oh- forgot to mention to you that prices are FABULOUS, too.

  Katie does great work and is so professional. She values your input and is flexible to make changes. She made me look beautiful, and I felt beautiful all day. I received a lot of compliments on my makeup--it was natural, yet you can notice a difference in the pictures. She also does flowers. She did my centerpieces and they're were lovely.

  Katie did the makeup for my outdoor photo shoot and other occasion events. I love the way of looking natural, modern, and fresh. She used good quality makeup products, because my skin is very sensitive. She just has magic to turn a normal girl into the model. After she finished, then I looked at the mirror, I was like. Is this me? Lols, walked out the room and my husband was amazed too. I wished she could do make up for my wedding, but it was so close to her due date. So, she only helped me to do flower. She is very talent and creative each time, so when I come to her I always have different looks. She also has great personality to work with and makes you feel relaxed. I definitely recommend her to family and friends for any special occasion such as a wedding, engagement and outdoor pictures because it is very important to look your best.
