We had a little bit of a nightmare situation with our first photographer and after searching for weeks, found Katlyn. She was very understanding and professional about our reservations when it came to signing another photography contract after our first experience, and did everything she could to make us feel comfortable and reassured. Communication and responsiveness was great throughout and she was so easy to work with. On the day of, she was early, calm, and somehow very inconspicuously got the most gorgeous photos (I didn’t even realize she was capturing some of these moments). The final products are breathtaking and I’m so grateful that we found her to capture our day. What was initially a nightmare situation turned out perfectly— even better than we could have imagined. 10/10 recommend her, and we will definitely be going to her if we ever need any photos taken in the future. -

Katie did our engagement sessions. We had two, and are planning another for in the snow. She is absolutely wonderful! She is very prompt in answering questions and makes you feel very comfortable in a somewhat awkward situation. She preps you ahead of time and is willing to try any ideas you may have. She will be doing our wedding day also, and I can’t wait to have her capture our day! I will never use another photographer! 😊 -

I needed maternity photos done for my daughter. My sister who is also a photographer was planning on doing them, however our mother had become sick and passed away and wasn't able to take the photos as planned. I requested her service with less than a months time and for the photos to be edited within days so that they could be displayed at the babyshower. Katie answered my message right away and was able to work with my schedule even having to move the day around!! She was professional and so nice to my daughter and I. Even after we thought we were finished she came back out to a 2nd location which was so thoughtful. The pictures were edited the same night and were everything and more!! They were absolutely beautiful and the best part is the smile and happiness they brought my daughter!! I'm truly thankful for Katie!!! Defintely recommend!! -

My husband and I planned our wedding in less than 4 months, during COVID mind you! People thought we were crazy. I was having trouble finding a photographer on short notice, then Katlyn came to the rescue! She was so easy to work with and made us feel really comfortable. She is very talented and captures all the right moments. I will cherish these photos forever. I’m so happy we found her! -

Katie was a pleasure to have as our wedding photographer! Her professionalism and talent is top notch! She is kind, receptive, responsible, and always on her toes. Our photos are everything we’ve wanted and more and we’re very proud to have them displayed throughout our home. She captured the day’s most precious moments. I would recommend Katlyn Sernak Photography for not only Wedding photos, but for any of life’s moments you want a keepsake from. She was our maternity photographer, baby shower photographer, and did our engagement photos. She’s also great with little ones and have had family sessions with her throughout the years. My fiance and I got married in October 2019. We wanted the best photographer to capture every moment of our special day. We could not have picked anyone better than katyln to be our photographer. She was there at 7 am the day of our wedding to take pictures of the bridesmaids getting ready and the groomsmen getting ready, the ceremony, the reception, every special moment. The weather on the day of our wedding was ugly, but she still managed to get the best pictures. I would recommend Katlyn if you want to have the best experience with a photographer you could ever ask for, and capture the most incredible moments of your special day!

My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Katie during two occasions. She worked as an assistant to our wedding photographer where she captured some fabulous shots, also took some photos of our family the following winter for holiday cards. Both times working with Katie were a joy. Not only is she friendly, patient and professional but she also has an eye for unique shots that still look natural, as well as a knack for creating beautifully edited images that capture the personality and emotions of her subjects. Retrieving our images for print was a breeze and Katie was happy to answer any questions before and after the session. We would not hesitate to choose Katie again. She is definitely a cut above the rest when it comes to photographers in the Northeast PA area. Thank you Katie! :)
