Kelly takes incredible photos and we couldn't have been happier with her work. She did both our engagement photos and wedding and we were blown away with the results on both occasions. In terms of photo style and quality, she captures the authenticity, love, joy, and humor of the best moments for you and your guests and masterfully composes her shots with the perfect use of lighting and background. Working with her is also an absolute delight. As people who usually feel awkward in front of a camera, my wife and I felt comfortable and at ease being photographed by Kelly. She is the perfect combination of calm and laid-back, yet punctual and focused on getting the best photos. On the day of our wedding, we were impressed with how well she adapted to certain delays, got us back on track and made great choices around where to take certain photos based on the weather and time available. I can't imagine a better photographer than Kelly and highly recommend! -

As we were planning our Nov 2021 wedding, we knew we wanted to choose a photographer that was not only skilled and professional in their craft, but also a warm and calm presence to have onsite during wedding day. Kelly is all of the above. She has a wonderful energy and was able to capture so many special, candid moments throughout the day. Our indoor venue didn't have the best lighting conditions, but it doesn't show at all in her work. The photos are absolutely phenomenal - we are THRILLED with how the gallery turned out and will cherish these images for a lifetime. She is incredibly talented and is a master at her art. We completely trusted her to both gather all the standard family portraits, but also use her creative eye to create some more abstract, candid work that she excels at. Kelly was very flexible throughout the day and nothing felt stressful or rushed - she provides a relaxing atmosphere and works so smoothly with other vendors. We highly suggest adding to Kelly to your vendor team! -

Kelly was a dream to work with. She is extremely thoughtful in her work and captured the sweetest - and funnest - moments. We had an intimate Covid wedding and Kelly was very flexible and understanding every step of the way. Around the middle of the night she even checked in to make sure she was getting everything from our photos wish list and if we had any new requests. Our guests also loved her. She brought a really warm, fun energy. Can't recommend her enough!! -

Beautiful photographs and a stress-free experience!
Kelly did an amazing job capturing our wedding. We could not have asked for more beautiful pictures and the experience working with her was pleasant and stress-free from start to finish. She was super organized, listened carefully to what we wanted and made it happen. We've been married a year now and I am still just as in love with these pictures as I was when I first saw them. Highly recommend working with Kelly! -

Perfect, beautiful photography!
Kelly was the perfect photographer for our big, DIY wedding. She was friendly, professional, and made an effort to get to know us and our wedding vibe (when we met at her Philly studio, she had drinks and our favorite snacks waiting for us). She was able to single-handedly capture our 180-guest wedding and provide the perfect blend of portraits and candid photography. She blended in with the guests, made everyone comfortable, and had no problem walking backward into a fountain in order to frame a shot. :) We didn't hire a videographer, so we relied on her natural photography to document the wedding . . . and we couldn't be happier with the results! -

Kelly is such an exceptional photographer. She is as much talented as she is genuinely caring. I was super nervous about being photographed for our engagement/wedding photos. Within minutes of meeting Kelly she made me feel so comfortable and excited to take photos! She was incredibly sweet, eager to please and genuine about getting to know us as a couple. She knew I had designed my wedding and made sure that I had exactly what type of photos I was looking for without even having to ask. She captured every last detail. Especially the moments we will cherish forever. Coming from a very big blended family I was astounded at her professionalism making sure every last person was included. Our photos were absolutely stunning. I could not even believe just how beautiful every single last photo was. She captured such breathtaking moments that make me tear up every time I look at them. My husband and I had an intimate wedding in Philadelphia and chose Kelly as our photographer after seeing her work featured in some local articles. She is truly amazing! Kelly was so sweet to chat with before the big day. When we officially met on the wedding day, I knew she was going to be perfect. We had a timeline, and even though some things got shifted around, she was calm and accommodating. We received our sneak peeks and are already in love with the emotion she was able to capture. We cannot wait to see the rest! Thank you, Kelly for helping make our day as perfect as it was.

Where do I begin...? Well, I suppose I can start by saying, "Congrats! Look no further for a wedding photographer because Kelly is EVERYTHING!"
Reasons to hire Kelly:
1) For my job, I am used to being behind the camera, and often get shy having my photo taken. From the very first meeting, I instantly felt comfortable with Kelly, and on our wedding day, it was like we had a close friend around taking photos-- she put everyone at ease, giving (gentle) instructions when necessary but mostly letting all the moments happen organically and capturing the wild spirit of our day in her signature documentary style.
2) Kelly will climb buildings for you... LITERALLY! Our wedding ceremony was at a cemetery, followed by a one-mile parade, followed by a block party. I think being a wedding photographer is always physically intense, but we really put Kelly through the ringer. One time I looked up and saw her, she was on someone's shoulders getting an epic parade shot; another time she had literally climbed through my parent's attic onto the ROOF to get an aerial photo of the block party! Dozens of guests came up to me to tell me how fantastic she was... and that was before even seeing the photos!
3) She is truly an artist... just go look at her photos, I don't need to say more about that.

Kelly is such a warm person. I've known Kelly for a few years and worked with her at many weddings. We hired her to photograph our wedding based on that experience.
It was important to us that our photographer be someone who's personality would make us feel comfortable on our wedding day. My (now) husband and I are very anxious people and Kelly was so good with that. She knew everything to say, how to keep us on time without stressing us out, how to manage our families quickly and painlessly for family photos – all day she was great.
She finished the photos quickly and sent us a preview during the honeymoon. The photos are BEAUTIFUL. Her work is honestly brilliant. It's timeless & cinematic. Our day flew by and there were so many things/moments we missed. We spent months designing decor and I swear I blacked it out. I never thought the detail photos (photos of stuff like our candles, seating chart, etc) would matter to me but it was so great to see things like that which I barely noticed the day of the wedding. Her and our second photographer captured all of the guests enjoying themselves (not just existing), did many group photos, and just overall killed it.
Also, she's able to create a checklist and dismiss it when it's no longer suiting the couple/wedding...being able to pay that kind of attention to a couple on a wedding day, while also being focused on making great photos, is a rare skill. We are eternally grateful for Kelly and so happy we chose her to document our day. -

The best decision we made!
Kelly is the dream wedding photographer. She's easy to work with, super professional, organized without being rigid or intrusive, and most of all incredibly talented. She is by far the best vendor hire we made! I can't recommend her highly enough.
Kelly did an amazing job photographing my brother's wedding in 2017, so we knew she was more than a safe bet. But I was nervous about hiring a wedding photographer. My husband and I wanted a small, intimate, non-traditional wedding, and we don't love posing for photos. I wanted to capture nice moments, but I didn't want to spend my wedding day posing for a million awkward, forced, or inauthentic photos.
Kelly was perfect. She totally understood our vision, and never made us do anything too staged or stuffy that just wasn't us. She kept us comfortable and let us laugh our way through the photo shoots, and the photos show it. We look happy, relaxed, and most importantly like ourselves.
Kelly is SO easy to be around. She handles family dynamics and herding guests with ease and absolute grace. During our ceremony, I looked out at the crowd and caught Kelly's eye -- she motioned for me to scoot closer to the groom. A great save for the photos, and done so discretely that I didn't feel flustered and I'm sure no one noticed. She's such a pro.
Kelly did an amazing job. From portraits, to group shots, to candids, to details from our venue, Kelly totally nailed it. Her photos captured our personalities, our relationship, our families, and our relaxed, happy day. Instead of a bunch of awkward portraits, Kelly gave us hundreds and hundreds of candids, relaxed family shots, and a handful of portraits that came about during natural moments. One portrait of me looks more like an oil painting than a bridal portrait!
We will treasure these photos forever. Hire Kelly! -

When a wedding photographer gets married....
As a wedding photographer myself, choosing a visual artist for our own wedding was as high a priority as you would expect. I knew all too well the insane number of talented people I could choose from, and the variety of modern wedding photography styles out there. Sean and I were prepared to bring a photographer in from another country if need be. But we found 'the one' in our own backyard.
In the years before our big day, we both fell in love with Kelly's editorial style and her use of color and tone. We loved that her work was fresh and modern but not so abstract that it felt like a runaway train-- like an artist had just gotten burned out from weddings and decided to skip the must-have traditional moments. Kelly beautifully balanced her artistic eye with some traditional moments that our family members will love to have framed. She also gave us some portraits that don't feel too "wedding-y" for our taste.
She and her second shooter stayed on site with us for the weekend, so it was important that she have an easy going personality and a high level of professionalism. Both were such a pleasure to have along for the entire weekend.
I know how intimidating it can be to photograph a photographer, as I often avoid it myself. I have to say that if Kelly was nervous she hid it expertly. The day ticked along at a smooth and happy pace. She didn't interfere with our enjoyment of the wedding, but did manage the timeline when necessary, with cool confidence.
All in all, Kelly was a dream to work with, and renewed my own passion for work. Through the enormous love I feel for our photos, I feel reinvigorated to create for my own clients. And of course, she produced treasures for my husband and our daughters to hold onto forever. I canNOT believe how stunning our images are, and how many compliments we have received on them. A week after receiving them, I honestly still pull up the gallery multiple times per day just to relive the magic.

I don’t even know how to begin this review, Kelly was absolute perfection from the first time we met at her studio to drinks out in the city when she gave us our finished wedding photos. Alex and I knew we wanted a photographer that would capture every emotion and little detail of our wedding day and after I found Kelly on Instagram i knew she would be the one.
Kelly made the day so easy and being from large families, taking group photos was something Alex and I were dreading. Kelly’s work shows all of the love that surrounded us on our wedding day and for that we are so grateful.
Kelly went above and beyond and shared an itinerary with us when she heard where we were going on our honeymoon. Her ability to connect with her clients and make you feel like an old friend is just one of the many reasons i would recommend her to everyone.
All in all, Kelly was simply amazing to work with. She gave us an irreplaceable gift, allowing my husband and our families to relive our wedding day whenever we want! -

User2754432 Sent on 09/05/2016On an average day, Kelly is the kind of soul you'd want to spend a whole afternoon with -- laughing, chatting, observing random sights on a walk. On your wedding day, she is the supremely talented photographer who puts people at ease with her caring demeanor and badass skills. Those "random sights"? No, those are life moments and she's capturing them, along with images of the dress -- in our case, two dresses -- the shoes, the bouquets, the everything-you-want-to-remember and some of the moments I didn't get to see initially, such as my gorgeous bride getting ready. Even our limo ride from the hotel to the ceremony...I thought it was a relatively quick trip and a wee bit cramped, but all the while, Kelly, perched bird-like on a square foot of open space, captured "the look of love." Kelly is also incredibly efficient with family portraits and, despite not having a second shooter (we went all in with Kelly), she managed to get multiple vantage points of our outdoor ceremony at the Mark Twain House in Hartford. We had just one reading, a meaningful one, and during that reading she got three or four totally different views, including a stunning rear angle of the Twain House porch with our bridal trains on full display as my soon-to-be-wife and I held hands. (I didn't even see Kelly running around to get these shots.) We hired her for eight hours of shooting and have so many favorite photos now, it'd be hard to pick a top 10. Kelly's exquisite talent brought out the best in us -- not just photogenically, but in how expressive we were on the most romantic day of our lives. We were two brides getting married in front of 50 people, many of whom probably weren't used to that sight. But starting with our private "first look" at the hotel, Kelly's chill/encouraging/totally-on-it vibe set the tone for a sweet and celebratory summer evening. We already miss Kelly and that's why I feel melancholy writing this review.
