  SO talented and professional!

  Ken not only was extremely professional (meeting with us and our priest, quick to respond to emails/texts) but was also so talented. Our wedding ceremony was beautiful with Ken on Organ. He learned a new piece for us and had our ceremony feel warm! We could not recommend Ken enough!

  Talented, kind, above and beyond

  Ken met with us, played lots of options and helped us plan the organ music for my daughter's wedding. He is talented, accomodating, funny and went out of his way to coordinate with the church and make sure their organ and sound system was in great shape for the day of. He also talked to our priest to make sure everything flowed. I appreciated his attention to detail as the mass was very important to all of us. We were also looking for a vocalist. He understood exactly the style we were looking for when he recommended Meaghan Richardson. She has a gorgeous voice. Again, the two of them met to practice and prepare for my daughter's wedding. We had many people who commented how beautiful the music and vocals were. Thank you so much Ken and Meaghan. Do not hesitate to hire Ken!

  Perfect Performance!

  Ken's performance during our daughter's wedding added such perfect professionalism as our organist. He worked closely with our church and basically directed the entire musical part of the ceremony. We are so happy to recommend Ken for your wedding.

  Excellent musician, we highly recommend Ken Holdt!

  The music at a wedding holds a place of such importance and beauty; it is timeless and beautiful. Ken Holdt provided the music for our daughter's wedding in August of 2020. Ken's expertise along with his professional attention to detail ensured that the hymns selected were presented perfectly with respect to timing, tempo, and volume. He paid careful attention to all the things that have to be done before, during, and after the ceremony.
  
  Ken arrived to the chapel a week ahead to check on the equipment and sound system. The chapel staff informed him that the organ had suffered an electrical issue during a July storm. He quickly worked out a contingency plan using a keyboard plugged into the chapel's sound system. It sounded perfect! By going one week early to check everything out, Ken avoided a rehearsal or wedding day crisis. He worked with our family during the rehearsal, ironing out the remaining details and was absolutely fantastic during the actual ceremony.
  
  We knew the music at the wedding was in excellent hands. We highly recommend Ken Holdt. Thank You Ken!

  Working with Ken could not have been a more pleasant experience. He is extremely professional, exceptionally thorough and very detail-oriented. Not to mention, he is an incredibly talented individual on the organ, piano and vocals. Leading up to the wedding, Ken took the time to play through a variety of music options for us until we had a playlist that we were thrilled with, and visited our church to verify the organ was performing up to spec. He communicated well leading up to, and through, the wedding day with us, our wedding coordinator at the church, and the deacon. As our wedding day approached, our level of confidence in him could not have been higher. All came together well, and his music really added to the overall wedding ceremony. I highly recommend Ken.

  Beautiful ceremony music and great to work with

  I highly recommend Ken for any of your musical needs, especially if you are looking for ceremony music. We actually got his name from a list of preferred musicians from our chapel venue. Upon looking at his reviews and website, we contacted Ken. He was great to work with and very accommodating. Ken was super responsive via email, getting back to us quickly with the initial inquiry and hearing back about his availability within an acceptable amount of time. He shared samples of his music, which demonstrated a range of his abilities. My husband and I both live out of town and we were able to set up a meeting that worked for our schedule. At the meeting, he played for us and helped us pick our songs. Afterward, we were sent a detailed plan for the ceremony. He checked in periodically to see if we needed anything but was also available for any questions we had. We truly had nothing to worry about in terms of music because Ken made everything run so smoothly from his end. I cannot rave enough about his services. He made our day a very special one and we cannot thank him enough.

  As a wedding planner in Cincinnati, I had the wonderful opportunity to work with Ken in July 2020. Unlike many musicians/singers who I do not meet until the wedding day, Ken reached out to me one month out to confirm the couple's details. He also attended rehearsal to practice the music and transitions, and arrived promptly on the wedding day. Ken is very professional, organized, quick to respond and offer assistance, flexible with last minute changes, and above all strives to make your wedding day music memorable. I would highly recommend Ken to any couple who is looking for a musician or singer for their wedding day!

  Ken is great!

  I hired Ken to play the piano during the cocktail hour before our reception. He was very professional and super helpful with choosing what songs to play. We had a zoom meeting and he played a variety of songs for me to help narrow down my song choices and decide on a type of music. He typed out the whole playlist and was super accommodating when I wanted to make some last minute changes. My photographer even said he is the most organized guy he's ever worked with!! He was more than willing to help in any way and even offered to help me with deciding on music for the ceremony even though he was just playing at the cocktail hour. Many of my guest commented on how much they enjoyed the music during the cocktail hour and it really helped set the tone for the evening. Overall he was so nice and pleasant to work with and was super responsive to my emails. I would highly recommend him! He will not disappoint!

  We cannot say enough great things about our experience with Ken! We had a Catholic ceremony and we really wanted an organist for our ceremony. I know Ken from outside of the wedding world but I had never worked with him before. Working with Ken was a dream! We were very impressed by how thorough Ken was. We met with him for about an hour just going over what kind of music we wanted and he played many options on the organ so we could hear everything. He also was able to change up tempos or pitches based on what we wanted. Ken had never been to our church before so he took the time to go to the church to talk to our priest and practice on the organ. He also offered to come to our rehearsal which was extremely helpful. Ken was able to also adjust to things as our ceremony went on. Ken also made sure to reach out to all of the people who would need to know about the music including our priest, our coordinator, the church wedding coordinator, etc. He went above and beyond and was very responsive to what we want.   Ken was absolutely awesome! Not only does he have unbelievable piano skills but he is awesome to work with. He offered to meet with us a few months before the wedding to play several songs for us and to help is decide our line up for our ceremony.   I am SO happy that we hired Ken to play our ceremony music. He is such a kind person and a very talented musician. He was organized and responsive. I had my friend who lived out of town sing me down the aisle while he played the piano and he sent her a recording of him playing the music so she could practice, as she was unable to doso in person before the rehearsal. I felt at ease as soon as I met him and am just so thankful that I found him. He is so reasonably priced and if I had a larger budget would have paid him more than I did because he is so worth it! If you are searching for a musician for your ceremony, look no further!!! Ken is your guy.

Ken is the most pleasant and delightful professional I've ever worked with and I would recommend him highly to anyone for their wedding. He was not only affordable but superlative in every way possible. I'm so thankful that I found Ken and chose him to play the music at our wedding. Everyone said the music was beautiful and I only had to send Ken my desired musical selections and he did the rest. Having him at the rehearsal helped me get the "jitters" out of walking down the aisle the night before the wedding which I know some organists don't do without charging extra. Just loved working with Ken and you will, too!

Ken is the most pleasant and delightful professional I've ever worked with and I would recommend him highly to anyone for their wedding. He was not only affordable but superlative in every way possible. I'm so thankful that I found Ken and chose him to play the music at our wedding. Everyone said the music was beautiful and I only had to send Ken my desired musical selections and he did the rest. Having him at the rehearsal helped me get the "jitters" out of walking down the aisle the night before the wedding which I know some organists don't do without charging extra. Just loved working with Ken and you will, too!

  I highly recommend Ken Holdt! Ken played piano for my daughter's wedding last month and we could not have chosen a better accompanist! He was so responsive to all of my many emails and was very thorough in answering my questions in order to deliver beautiful music for my daughter and son-in-law's wedding day. Our situation was complicated since our niece was our vocalist, but Ken easily coordinated the music with her, even though she was out of state! He also got in touch with our priest (also out of state!) and made sure we were all on the same page at all times. Ken met with us early on in the process and was open to all of our requests. He graciously came to our rehearsal in order to have some practice time with our vocalists and make sure we were all comfortable and ready for the wedding the next day. We received many compliments on the music at the Mass, due in no small part to Ken! His rate is very reasonable as well. Don't hesitate to call Ken Holdt - in addition to being a great musician, he is also just a really nice person to work with!

  A Consummate Professional

  What can be said about Ken? First off, he is truly a master of his craft. I had the pleasure of working alongside of him (I am a videographer) for a wedding a few weeks back. He and I touched base prior to the wedding day, and we met up at the wedding rehearsal.
