  BEST EXPERIENCE with a photographer

  Kim was an absolute delight to work with!! She is so talented, creative, warm, professional, flexible, and attentive – we could not have asked for a better photographer. Her style catered to us as a couple while still holding true to her own unique perspective of what to focus on. She has such a good eye! We HIGHLY recommend using Kim for your wedding, or let’s be honest, any milestone event you want to capture. She makes your vision into a reality in the most special way.

  Kim is the THE person to hire for photography!

  After my (now) husband and I booked our venue we knew the next vendor that we needed to hire was a photographer. I was a semi crazy bride and I probably interviewed over 10+ photographers. We were looking for someone who not only took gorgeous, bright photos but also someone we could personally connect to. As soon as we had our introductory call, we knew Kim was the one! She was so warm and thoughtful during our call - really trying to understand our love story and how we wanted our wedding to be like. I actually cried during our intro call - that's how safe I felt around her.
  
  About a couple months after we signed our contract, Kim reached out to schedule our engagement shoot. This is when my husband and I really got to connect with Kim and knew we 1000% made the right choice. Kim was super organized (which we loved) with scheduling the time, picking the location and coordinating the meet up. She made us feel so comfortable and she captured the most stunning photos. She kept us engaged and prompted questions and actions to make sure our engagement photos really captured who we were as a couple and didn't feel posed. She got to learn our goofy personalities and it was a great practice run for our big day.
  
  Now for our wedding ... omg I cannot put to words what amazing photos Kim and her team took. We just got our final gallery and it immediately brought us to tears. She was able to capture the perfect balance of posed photos but also candids. Her detail photos made it possible to re-live every moment of the day again. She also made sure we captured all our family portraits (even though they were super large). She truly felt like a best friend who was around during out most special day who just happened to also snap a lot of photos. Our bridal party loved having her around and we were all so comfortable.
  
  She made prepping for our wedding day as effortless and stress free as possible. Before our wedding we had calls to walk through our shot list, timelines. She was super engaged and organized - giving all the tips she could to keep us on track. She delivered our sneak peeks SO quickly. We had them a couple days after our wedding to enjoy and cry over them while we were on our honeymoon. She also delivered our final gallery within 2 months!
  
  I can't recommend Kim enough- she's not just a super talented photographer but she's also a beautiful soul who has truly become our friend through this whole process. Can't wait to keep re-living our wedding day through her photos!!

  Kim made us feel so comfortable, we are so happy we worked with Kim

  We are so happy and thrilled that we chose Kim as our photographer. Kim meshed with us and we instantly hit it off with her. Me and my husband are not the type of people who feel comfortable taking a lot of photos, but Kim made us feel super comfortable, and we never felt awkward. Our wedding party also felt super comfortable with Kim and it really shows in our pictures. Her quality of work is amazing and she really gets all those little intimate details photographed. Kim did a great job of making sure we all felt comfortable in front of the camera, and was great with reminding us all to take a breath and reset those smiles. Kim was fantastic and i would choose her again if I had to do it all over again.

  Kim is amazing!

  We had the pleasure of having Kim photograph our wedding day! Kim stepped in for our original photographer, who was unable to shoot our wedding day due to an emergency. Kim was absolutely amazing in every way! She was professional, kind, helpful, encouraging, and made everyone feel comfortable!! Although I met Kim the morning of my wedding, I quickly felt so comfortable with her and in turn she was able to capture our true personalities and our little “quirks” throughout the day. So thankful to have crossed paths with Kim, and I would highly highly recommend! :)

  A True Talent!

  Kim is the exact person that you need during the wedding planning process and especially on your wedding day. She is effortlessly interested, attentive and present. Kim is just as excited and energetic as you are and is there to guide you when needed but always keeps the vision of you and your partner in mind.
  
  We instantly connected with her on our first phone call and booked her immediately. She jumped at the idea of our NYC engagement session, scheduled us with a quick turnaround and scouted the perfect location. She even relished in the unexpected snow we had at our shoot and capitalized on it rather than shying away. Neither of us had ever had our photos professionally taken but she was able to make us feel totally comfortable in front of the camera while eloquently giving direction and cueing when needed.
  
  We had full confidence in Kim going into the wedding day. The day of, she was the perfect medley of personable and professional. Kim and her team dove right in and got to work. They made themselves known when needed and were able to capture the best candid photos because you truly forgot they were there. She was able to wrangle our large bridal party and large family photos with ease. She got all of our requested shots and didn’t miss a beat. Kim truly has an amazing eye and can easily jump between finding the best candid, spur of the moment and natural photos but is able to get the more formal, traditional photos as well.
  
  We knew how amazing Kim was but our family, bridal party and guests solidified it. Still to this day they continue to rave about how special of a person and how talented of a photographer Kim.

  To describe Kim in one adjective (talented, amazing, incredible) simply won’t cut it. She is everything you want and need in a wedding photographer. We were so thankful to have had her photograph our wedding last year. Throughout working with her, we found her to be kindhearted, fun, friendly, detailed, and thoughtful. She makes her couples feel seen and heard, at every step in the process. We write this review after having had our photos for a while now, and we can honestly say that we love seeing them (digitally and physically) every single time. Each time we look at the album we notice another detail that we haven’t noticed before. She doesn’t just capture the couple in a bright light - she also captures your loved ones in such a special way, too. We had so much fun sending photos afterwards to our friends and family - killin’ it on the dance floor or having a conversation at a table. We had our wedding on a rather warm summer day, and not once did she lose her enthusiasm or professionalism, despite running around and ensuring all the shots were captured. The photos are exactly how you want to remember your special day; they are gorgeous, fun, unique, detailed, and simply brilliant in every way.   Amazing photographer

  Kim is so easy to work with , she made it so easy for my fiancé who doesn’t like photos. She made the day of the shoot fun! Kim has a very unique style of shooting and editing pics which makes her an AMAZING photographer.

  BOOK KIM NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  I wanted to update my review as I was lucky enough to be able to work with Kim again in June 2022. Kim is such an amazing human being and photographer and working with her has been such an awesome experience. I cried when Kim left our postponed wedding celebration because I knew there wouldn't be another celebration we'd be working together for. Her work is absolutely stunning. I truly cannot get over how incredible her photos are. If you want to feel comfortable and have absolutely beautiful photos of your special day, stop what you're doing right now and book Kim.
  
  September 2020 Wedding Review: Writing a review for Kim is like writing about your best friend - where do you even begin?! After spending hours looking up photographers that were way over budget, my husband came back to me with Kim. The second I saw her photos I knew I needed to connect with her. Setting up time to talk to Kim was always so easy throughout the whole planning process and our initial talk was no different. We spoke for over an hour and I knew getting off the phone that I wanted Kim to be our photographer. We exchanged a ton of emails in the months following, and Kim was so supportive when we had to make the decision of postponing our big wedding to 2021 because of COVID. Kim was so flexible with everything we threw at her, which included our minimony in September. Having Kim in our corner to help us plan our 30 person event made me so excited to work with her for our 200 person event next year. The day of our minimony, Kim was absolutely amazing. She kept us on our planned timeline and made sure we got all the shots we wanted and more. Our families could not stop talking about how great Kim is. Kim sent us our sneak peek photos the same weekend and when I saw them I cried. The photos were absolutely beautiful and I can't wait to see the rest! If you are thinking about booking Kim then stop what you're doing and book her RIGHT. NOW. She is professional, responsive, reasonably priced, and just an overall amazing person and photographer!!!!

  Our wedding was so much fun and went seamlessly, all thanks to Kim! During our first conversation, she was so personable and insightful insight that we booked her right away! Initially, we were stressed because we were planning the wedding ourselves, but Kim went above and beyond to help us- from finalizing our schedule, to deciding what type of lighting and candles we should use for better pictures. Kim even went to the event space before the wedding day to scope out the best places for photos!
  
  I think where Kim outshines any other vendor was how helpful she was on the wedding day. She was by my side the entire time and the only reason we stayed on schedule. Our entire wedding party and families LOVED her! The moment I realized she was indispensable was when she saw me struggling down the stairs in my wedding dress and came over to help me. It was very obvious that she's done this a million times before!
  
  And of course, the photos she took were beautiful. If you're still trying to decide between photographers, you can stop here because Kim will not disappoint. Her passion, care and talent goes beyond any other photographer. Thank you so much Kim! You are our photographer for life!

  Hiring Kim was the best decision we made for our wedding!

  Kim was one of the first vendors that my husband and I booked. As soon as we had our introductory call with her, we were hooked! Like many other couples, it was our first time being photographed and we wanted to find someone that would make us feel as comfortable as possible. Kim was warm, genuine and patient with us. She knew exactly what to do and how to get us to open up in front of the camera. Due to the pandemic, when we had to postpone our original wedding date, Kim was extremely accommodating and understanding.   We are forever grateful to Kim for capturing our wedding day so beautifully. Although we didn’t hire a videographer, the photos itself told the whole story of our day. Clicking through the pictures, it felt like we were watching a movie. We found so many moments that we didn’t even realize she caught. She happened to be in the right place at the right time.

  Kim was one of the first vendors that my husband and I booked. As soon as we had our introductory call with her, we were hooked! Like many other couples, it was our first time being photographed and we wanted to find someone that would make us feel as comfortable as possible. Kim was warm, genuine and patient with us. She knew exactly what to do and how to get us to open up in front of the camera. Due to the pandemic, when we had to postpone our original wedding date, Kim was extremely accommodating and understanding.   Wonderful wedding photographer!

  The best! We absolutely love our photos. Kim did our engagement and wedding photos and she was by far our favorite wedding vendor to work with. She is professional and supportive and really fun to be around! She was so helpful during the planning process, particularly with creating our wedding day timeline. Then on the day of our wedding, she kept us on schedule, but also made sure to constantly check-in to make sure we weren't feeling rushed and that we were enjoying ourselves. We ended up with so many beautiful pictures. We also ordered an album through Kim and she did such a wonderful job of putting it together and it came out beautifully. If you hire her you will definitely be pleased with your photos, and you will be so happy that you decided to have her be a part of your special day.

  Kim was wonderful, she is very flexible when it comes to working with couples, different personalities, needs and wants on a wedding day. We we're very laid back as a couple and did not want to overkill the day with photos, she worked with us and our wishes and made is such a perfect day. We cannot say enough wonderful things about her professionalism, quality of photos and her wonderful eye. She captured our day beautifully as well as provided our families and friends with some great photos that they will all remember for years to come, many many thanks to Kim. Highly recommend!

I have known Kim since college, so we immediately knew we wanted her to photograph our special event, but never in a million years did I expect the service and end result to be as amazing as it was. Kim truly listens to what you want and what you are looking for when it comes to photography your special occasion. She listened to what we wanted and paired that with her incredible expertise and delivered an amazing product. If you want someone that is professional, fun, dedicated, motivated, responsive, creative, (the list of adjectives is limitless) then BLK chai Photograph is what you want.
