  Ben and Kim from Kindred Photography surpassed all our expectations for our wedding. Their exceptional talent behind the lens captured stunning moments throughout the day, creating a beautiful narrative of our wedding. They made us feel comfortable and at ease, ensuring natural and genuine shots. What's more, their pricing was incredibly reasonable, making them an excellent choice for any budget-conscious couple.   Winter Wedding

  We had an amazing experience with Kim and Ben and their photographer.
  Our family had a lot going on. I was finishing grad school, we had a new baby at home and Nick adapting to his new job. One thing we didn’t have to worry about was with our wedding pictures, they were available to answer questions, they were punctual and professional. We are very happy with our wedding pictures.

  Quality, Efficiency, and then more

  I found kindred photography as they were advertised on my Dj’s website. HOWEVER, I researched and researched… I stalked several photographers instagrams and portfolios before I made my final decision and only HOPED that they would be able to be there for my big day. Ben and Kim are talented and they just know what a good shot is and how to get it. I have heard horror stories and I am forever grateful that I had the complete opposite experience. If you want it done right the first time, seamlessly, with even more perks (such as the fact that there are two of them) I seriously would not look any further. Just to add to this- on my wedding day I had just had my make-up completed by a make-up artist and I was so unsure after looking in the mirror because it looked like a lot of make-up. I looked over at Kim and she reassured me that I looked good. boom all my worries were gone. I look back at my pictures and I’m so happy and grateful for her reassurance in that moment. Trust me- it’s priceless to have that support on your big day.

  August Wedding

  Working with Kindred Photography was a stress-free and enjoyable experience. Been and Kim were wonderful to work with and they truly captured the magic my husband and I felt on our wedding day! I would work with them again in a heartbeat!

  We looked at a lot of options for photographers and it can be difficult to narrow down who is going to capture your day based off Instagram and portfolios. We looked at a lot of reviews that talked about how comfortable people were with Kindred and how easy they were to work with. We would definitely agree with all of them! We love our photos and Kim and Ben were relaxed and easy going which we needed on our wedding day!

  We cannot thank Kim and Ben enough for both our engagement and wedding photos! These two make an incredible team and have you at ease the whole time you're taking pictures. My husband and I are not "photo people" and felt comfortable the entire process. Kim and Ben have a way of creating more a candid experience while still giving guidance and direction. We are thrilled with our engagement photos and sneak peak wedding photos and cannot wait to see the final collection! Kindred Photography truly offers an amazing photography experience!

  10/10 Kindred Photography for the WIN!!

  Kim and Ben were absolutely AMAZING! From planning what pictures we wanted, to hearing our vision, to nailing every part of the night...they truly hit it out of the park! They were so welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. My husband and I (who are not used to our picture being taken), felt so comfortable working with both Kim and Ben. They are a wonderful display of teamwork and collaboration. If you are looking for a photographer, Kindred Photography is a sure win!

  There aren't enough words.

  I honestly do not know where to begin. There are absolutely no words that would ever be able to describe just how wonderful Kim and Ben are. I am writing a review because not only do they deserve it, but also because it was a review that helped me decide on them even before making contact with them. I in my heart hired them before I even knew what they offered or if they were available on my chosen date. After our engagement session with them I knew right away that I didn't have to worry about feeling like I was stuck posing for a magazine all day. Everything about their shooting style is being yourself and capturing candids that are so on point they look almost posed. I promise if you hire them your pictures will be perfect! I highly recommend doing an engagement session, you get to know them a little better and get comfortable in front of their camera. They work so well together a lot of our guests commented on how beautiful their vibe is. I must also say that I got way more than I bargained for when Kim helped saved the day by sowing my dress back together. During alterations the belt was not fully sown back into the waist and with a simple hotel sowing kit she fixed my dress. I'm pretty sure I told her I could hug you right now. Hire them, you won't regret it. They will photograph us for years to come.

  Amazing! Artful! Affordable!!!

  Kim and Ben did a fabulous job with our wedding! They did pre-wedding shots that were beautiful and intimate, they took gorgeous shots of the ceremony, and they took fun shots of the reception that I will always treasure. They were very affordable and when they could have stayed longer and charged us more, they were honest with us and told us that they had a lot already. They were right, and they did us a huge favor! Definitely hire Ben and Kim and you will not regret it!

  Halloween wedding

  Ben and Kim did an amazing job. We got married in October during the craziness of the pandemic and they worked with us through all of our changes and kept us updated. They also took any of our inspiration photos and ideas and made them a reality. They work so well together 10/10 recommend.

  Helped me make lasting memories

  Kim and Ben were extremely quick to respond to my Wedding Wire request and also included a professional brochure clearly explaining their offerings.
  We were coming from out of town and weren't familiar with a location for our photos and they recommended a goregous bridge in Simsbury and they were flexible to also come to our party location to do family portraits. We are so happy that we chose them.

  Kim and Ben were incredible throughout the entire day and did not stop taking photographs until the very end.
  They did an amazing job setting up and coordinating our first look photo, and then followed us around as we suggested different places to capture our day - as we moved from place to place, both Ben and Kim would experiment with different angles, poses, lighting etc. but made sure we were having fun with it.
  At our dinner and reception, Kim and Ben navigated the crowds (we were a small venue with a large group and a band) and shot great candid photos as well as plenty of group shots.
  As a husband and wife team, Kim and Ben have a great chemistry and we felt at ease throughout the day and night. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

  Great to work with, easy to communicate with

  Kim and Ben were fantastic! Easy to work with. Easy to communicate to. Easy to get ideas from. Real down to earth people who really wanted the best for us. I liked how they asked good questions to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. They had creative solutions for us. And best of all, the picture quality was great. Great shots, great colors. We are so happy we hired them. We had a lot of deal with, they made our lives easier. We highly recommend them for your wedding

  At the wedding they were everywhere. They made it so easy for us to be in front of a camera. After the "formal" pictures they walked around like little ninjas snapping away candid shots of all our family and us. Half the time we didn't even know they were there! We all had so much fun with them. So excited to get our pictures back! Love love love Kindred!

  They helped us capture the most perfect day!

  My husband and I got married on September 22, 2018. We found Kindred Photography on a wedding website and contacted them for a quote. They immediately replied and set up a time for us to meet them. They were both so easy going and relaxed. Their demeanor made us feel so much more comfortable about being photographed. They photographed our engagement photos and about a year later did our wedding photos. Our photos came out amazing and were the perfect touch to capturing our special day. I would highly recommend them to anyone. The bonus is definitely two photographers, especially a husband and wife who know how to capture the love you and your significant other share.

  My husband and I got married on September 22, 2018. We found Kindred Photography on a wedding website and contacted them for a quote. They immediately replied and set up a time for us to meet them.   Kim and Ben did a great job! They had a good price and delivered over 1500 amazing photos of our wedding. They arrived early and started shooting right away. I often didn't even notice they were there getting candid shots. They were very nice and professional, so glad we chose them! As a fellow photographer I highly recommend Kindred!
