Absolutely the best choice to choose this venue for our wedding! It was the best place to have our wedding and the whole atmosphere was so magical and made our wedding so unique. They made booking and choosing vendors so easy with their endless recommendations and the staff works endlessly to create whatever vision you have in mind come to life. We planned the wedding out of state as well and they helped every step of the way making sure we had all our questions answer and went above and beyond to be available the whole wedding weekend. We had many guests say it was one of the most unique weddings they had been to and how much fun they had the whole weekend. I am so thankful we chose this venue and the staff that made the day so special for us and our guests.

Getting married at Kingsley Pines was truly an amazing experience and exceeded all the expectations we had for our wedding. The few days we spent at the camp will be a once in a lifetime memory and they went above and beyond to make it that way. The staff was so focused on making it the wedding we wanted and were so helpful with the entire process.

My husband and I got married in June 2023 at Kingsley Pines and had an amazing experience! Our main contact, Becky, was warm, organized, and extremely responsive throughout the whole process. Becky worked well with our various vendors and made all day-of logistics seem seamless. Once we arrived onsite for our wedding weekend, we were greeted by a wonderful team of staff who helped us pull off the wedding of our dreams. One staff member even took time out of their day to play tennis with one of my young nephews. Not only is the Kingsley Pines team skilled at event management, but their skill and experience as camp counselors and community builders came through in all that they did.

One of our priorities for selecting a wedding venue was finding a place where all of our guests would be able to stay onsite if they wanted to. The more deluxe cabins were perfect for our older guests who wanted a more hotel-like stay, and even the more “rustic” cabins exceeded our expectations. Although we had initially been concerned that some of our guests might be too tall to sleep in twin beds, everyone fit comfortably. Another concern days before the wedding was that folks in some of the unheated cabins might be chilly overnight when the temperature dropped, but Kingsley Pines provided plenty of extra blankets and everyone was warm.

It was truly an idyllic wedding - the kind that friends and family members are still raving about. The wedding ceremony under the tree was absolutely stunning, the grounds were well kept, and all games/activities were accessible to us throughout the weekend. Kids and adults had a ball playing pickleball, tennis, basketball, tetherball, lawn games, and jumping off the rope swing into the lake. The kitchen was perfect for our needs and had everything we needed to cook our own meals as a group of 160. We were able to use the stove tops, ovens, commercial dishwasher, ice machine, and walk-in refrigerator.

But don’t just take it from us! My brother has mentioned several times wanting to go back to Kingsley Pines every few years for a family reunion. We (and I think our whole guest list would agree) would be thrilled to relive that weekend. If you are thinking about having your wedding or special event at Kingsley Pines, we cannot recommend it highly enough!

Kingsley Pines was a pleasure to work with in pulling off our perfect wedding weekend. They let us come tour the camp as many times as we needed throughout our planning process and always got back to us quickly regarding any questions we had. During the wedding weekend, they checked in to make sure everything was going smoothly, were wonderful with our guests, and were quick to jump in and help where needed. Camp itself was put together thoughtfully with extra blankets for guests (because it was unexpectedly cold), lawn games and chairs set out on the beach, and a fire going in the lodge all day! Absolutely perfect!

My wife and I married at Kingsley Pines at the end of September, 2022. Despite some rain and cold, the weekend was wonderful and we couldn’t have had a more beautiful day for the ceremony. The campground staff was helpful and easy to work with, stood by for support but also let us do our thing. Our guests all had a great time relaxing and enjoying the beach and grounds, getting to know each other or catching up, exactly what we hoped for an experience for everyone. Most who weren’t local and didn’t stay on site stayed at the Microtel down the road and were plenty comfortable as well. Taxis or rideshares getting to the venue were easy to come by for our guests but for getting from the venue back out many relied on friends and family with personal or rental cars. There are nearby stores for supplies and the campground’s kitchen (including icemaker and walk-in fridge) were available for use which was very helpful. We were able to use the indoor spaces like the dining hall, main lodge and big barn for different meals and events throughout the weekend which was very useful and helpful. We found the dining hall or outdoor area near it useful for the meals other than the reception, held in the barn, and the lodge proved to be the favorite for unscheduled hang outs. The big fire pit by the lake was put to good use most evenings. Some of the cabins for guests are fairly rustic (no a/c or heat) but most have their own bathroom and bedding is provided. Two of our vendors had worked at KP before which was helpful since they knew the grounds ahead of time. I would suggest asking your vendors to do a walk through to make sure they get the layout of the property. All in all, Kingsley Pines provided the perfect weekend campground experience we were hoping for ourselves and our guests for our wedding, thanks!

Andy and I had our wedding at Kingsley Pines 8/28/21 (Fri-Sunday). Our guests had fun all weekend with the boats we rented, playing on the beach and hanging out. More than half our guests stayed on site. The bunks were great, no one had any complaints. Loon Landing and Dragonfly were perfect for the bridal suite and the parents. Dan and Laura Jo and the rest of the KP staff were very responsive and helped during the weekend as we needed. I appreciated the communication they provided with Vendors to help our weekend go smooth. They placed picnic tables outside for us, and tables/chairs at two locations indoors also if guests wanted to eat inside. Access to the kitchen area was perfect for the extra food. The barn lay out was awesome, we had 20 farm tables for 130 or so guests, and we were able to have the barn doors open to provide extra air especially in lieu of ongoing COVID. One minor thing to be aware of (which isn't KP fault) is there are annoying (semi-harmless) small yellow jackets that are near the kitchen area this time of year. Generally they do go away once camp is over, but were present during our ceremony. It didn't ruin our plans at all! Food trucks set up and guests still ate outside. HIGHLY recommend using Kingsley Pines as your wedding venue to have a blast with your family and friends all weekend - everyone couldn't stop saying how much fun they had/relaxed all weekend rather than a one-day wedding ordeal.

Choosing to have our wedding at Kingsley Pines was the best decision we could have ever made. It was perfect: from the lakeside setting, to the cabins, to all the different spaces we were able to use to hold different events throughout the weekend, it was amazing. All of our guests commented on how magical the weekend was, and Kingsley Pines was a big part of that. The staff was fantastic and super accommodating; Dan couldn't have been more helpful! I wish I could go back and relive the weekend again, it is a very special place.

Kingsley Pines was the perfect place to coral up all of our family and friends and have a great wedding weekend. They provided the laid back private atmosphere that I was looking for. I would highly recommend Kingsley Pines to anyone looking for a wedding venue.

We knew as soon as we arrived for a visit of Kingsley Pines that it was the perfect venue for us. The location was perfect, cabins were quaint and the staff incredibly helpful. Kingsley Pines has a layed back feel with a guest friendly atmosphere. There are many buildings and picturesque locations. We tried to hold a different event in each building so we could get the majority of things set up Thursday night before the wedding. Our guests enjoyed time in the chairs on the sandy beach, swimming in the lake, swinging off the rope swing, kayaking and lounging by the fire. We had a lot of help throughout the weekend as the venue requires you to do a lot on your own. I would consider hiring someone to take care of all those little things (making sure ice buckets were full and water full, etc.). Drew was prompt with responding to questions by email.

My husband and I got married here this past May. It was absolutely everything we were hoping for! We were able to utilize this whole camp on Friday for canoes, kayaks, volleyball, corn hole, rope swing... everything! All our guests were amazed at how fun and beautiful the camp was. On Saturday our wedding day was perfect. We were married outside overlooking the water, the cocktail hour was on the lawn and in the lodge, dinner in the dining hall, and dancing and dessert in the barn! It was so fun to have a special area for each thing. Our guests said it was the funnest wedding they have ever gone to. And the 'camping' isn't to rustic so it fine for large groups. Drew was helpful with all our questions and the whole staff was great. If you like casual, fun, woodsy and beautiful... this place is for you!!! Thank you Kingsley Pines!

Kingsley Pines is a summer camp that hosts weddings before and after the wedding season. Couples rent out the camp Thursday-Sunday and have the entire camp to use, including cabins, communal buildings, waterfront, and other facilities. Our wedding guests commented that the wedding was like a mini-vacation. They spent the morning before our wedding trail running, stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, and going off the rope swing.
The camp is well-maintained and photogenic, with a variety of beautiful photo backdrops including the beach and docks, plus in the woods and in front of the barn. They continue to make improvements and renovate a few cabins every year so the camp keeps getting better. Drew was fantastic about keeping in touch before the event and answering questions, and on arrival the camp staff were all attentive and enthusiastic but never intrusive. Keep in mind that having a wedding here means a lot of DIY, so I would encourage you to have some help especially the day of your wedding. I recommend Kingsley Pines at the highest level and am praying that one of my friends has their wedding there in the near future so I can go back and play!

This was an absolutely amazing venue, we are so happy we picked it! They have everything: swimming, kayaking and canoeing, indoor and outdoor fireplaces, sports, games, sleeping cabins, pews, tables, chairs, everything.

The staff was very relaxed and calm, and basically just left us to our own devices. The were so flexible and friendly. The venue is gorgeous- the pictures online don't really do it it justice. We had so many people tell us that our wedding was the most fun they had had in years, and how relaxing it was for them. Everyone swam, played tennis, and people even loved sleeping in the bunk beds. The bunks in particular don't show up well in the photos, but the camp provided nice blankets and people were really happy. The nicer cabins are extra but are more like a ski condos, and very comfortable for family. My mother has allergies to mold, and didn't have a problem at all, everything was clean and new.

This is a rustic venue and is best for brides who like the campground look- it would be hard to transform it into anything else really. The one bad thing was that the area most people get married in is covered with a dark mulch/dirt, not grass. This can be solved or you can move the ceremony to the beach or something, but it is something to think about with long dresses. It is remote, so the other thing to remember is that if you have people for the whole weekend you might want to provide two brunches and so the meals definitely add up.

I would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone.

With the help of the awesome team at Kingsley Pines, we created a vow renewal ceremony with our family and friends that was, quite simply, an incredible weekend of fun. The venue is outstanding -- beautiful lake, gorgeous facilities, well-appointed cabins and lots of open spaces for activities. The staff helped with the planning and were there for every detail during the weekend. We wholeheartedly recommend them for your wedding or celebration!

Kingsley Pines was an absolutely beautiful place to get married, we couldn't have picked a better location! Our guests loved the cabins, and we loved having many different options for ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception locations. We even had our rehearsal dinner on-site as well! Drew is very accommodating and easy to work with. The only issue we really encountered was some confusion with the front desk staff not handing out our welcome bags, but that was really the only hiccup!

No flexibility. Poor management and customer service.
