  Outstanding work and experience!

  My husband and I have the unique privilege of having had Karen photograph our engagement, our elopement, and our wedding celebration. Each milestone was special, and we have been so lucky to have Karen with us on this journey.
  
  Karen’s talent and style is easily apparent in the photos she takes, and her ability to capture human emotion—especially joy—is outstanding. We’ve been so happy with the images we received back, and for all events, we’ve always received sneak peeks in record time.
  
  As an individual, Karen is caring, communicative, and just overall fun to work with. We’ve recommended several of our engaged friends to her, and we’ve loved seeing how she has captured their celebrations as well. I can’t say enough good things about Karen; she always puts me at ease when it comes to being photographed and always brings happy tears to my eyes when the photos come back!

  Above and beyond!

  Karen and I met several years ago at our workplace and have been friends since. When my now-husband and I got engaged, I pretty much knew we would be hiring Karen to be our photographer.
  
  Besides being an all-around awesome person, Karen is quite talented. Her photography style is incredibly artistic, and she brings out our best sides. We've now had the pleasure of working with her for both our engagement shoot and our elopement shoot--and whenever our big wedding celebration ends up happening, Karen will be there, too. Our elopement sneak peeks arrived quickly, and they're so good!
  
  She's a photographer that has an eye for detail and can help coach you through posing, so if you have any hesitation being photographed, know you will be in good hands with Karen. She's also extremely easy to work with, being communicative, flexible, and friendly. I would sing her praises from the top of Mount Baker if I were any good at singing, so for now, I'll just say that I can't say enough great things about how fun it has been to be able to work with her!

  When you want your photographer to be your BFF

  Karen was so thoughtful in the way she approached our wedding. She took the time to get to know us, calmed a bride all the way on the East Coast, and captured our most amazing memories. Candid shots? She’s got you. Help posing? On it.
  
  Karen presence added to the party- it didn’t distract from it. She even helped the fellas stick to the timeline when they were getting ready!

  Karen has been our go-to photographer for years now, and we are always so happy with the images she captures of our family!   We used Karen for our maternity shoot. She was utterly amazing. She is kind and spirited- really taking the time to make us feel comfortable (which from experience can be a challenge when getting your picture taken). She took the time to get to really know us prior to our session and really took everything we said into consideration. She met us at the place that we not only got engaged but also had gotten married. We figured we couldn't have picked a better venue than there to capture the last few moments before our little lady is born. We loved Karen's vibe and ability to really help us really relax. She was prompt in all aspects of our experience- especially in regards to returning emails and picture turn around time. We got so many photos! It was hard to pick our favorites to share with friends and family. We look forward to using Karen again in the future to capture many more moments as our family continues to grow. She would be an excellent choice for any event, milestone or just because moments you want captured.

  Karen is fantastic! Her work is beautiful and and she really cares about what _you_ want your photos to express. She's also a hoot to work with. She's done several shoots for me and each one has been low-stress and fun and feels authentic to my personality and lifestyle. Karen is down-to-earth but also a little goofy, composed and professional without being stuffy; her affability puts people at ease, even if you "always hate having your picture taken." And did I mention artful, timeless photos? You won't be disappointed :)

  Every year when summer arrives we contact Karen to schedule a family photo session. We've been doing this for several years and it has become a tradition, each time at a different location. Karen has a unique gift for communication. From the first time we met her, when our kids were very young, Karen was able to instantly connect with all of us, and we always have lots of fun during the session. Karen always succeeds in capturing our family dynamics in interesting, colorful and memorable ways. She has an exceptional eye for meaningful compositions. We are always thrilled to receive the photos and look back at those from previous years.

  Oh how I loved my wedding, but my favorite moments with Karen were with her capturing my maternity pictures and family pictures with both of my sons. She nailed it in all of them!!! She is wonderful to work with and fabulous with kids. Amazing photographer!! I feel so lucky to have her capturing all my important life moments! You can really feel the love and passion she has for this when she is taking photos!

  Working with Karen has completely rewritten my story about having my photo taken. I used to feel intimidated and awkward and super uncomfortable in front of the camera, but Karen helped me to feel totally relaxed and I actually had a blast during our shoot. And best of all, I LOVE the images she captured! We just scheduled our third photoshoot with her, and will continue to work with and recommend her enthusiastically!

She has taken our engagement photos and our celebratory 1 year anniversary photos - and she is a pro at capturing the candid moments and connection between the people she photographs.
