Kirsty & Maria,
where do we start?! I know - first time we came to Santorini to plan our wedding. Me; THE Control freak over the Control freaks looking for someone even more controlling than me. We found Kirsty by accident through recommendations from other professionals on the Island. After five minutes, I looked at my husband and nodded. We had found someone who was VERY professional, who had CONTROL over the situation, VERY WELL aware of what that can be done on the Island and MOST important of them all: a person with an opinion. I usually know EXACTLY what I want and Kirsty did nothing else than to try fulfilling my dreams for this big day but she also gave me feedback based on her experience. Do not underestimate that! We met many wedding planners on the island where we asked questions and just got back “whatever you like”. You don’t want that if you’re a good planner planning for something that you usually don’t have experience in – your wedding.
Throughout the process Kirsty always responded quickly and gave me options when I needed that for different decisions. I think amongst my friends I’m the only bride who hasn’t had to email my wedding planner to remind her to answer about something. My friends told me about all these stories where they were hunting their planner for answer whilst in this case Kirsty had full control of the schedule and she was the one reminding me about what to do when in order to not have to stress by the end. THANK YOU FOR THAT! I think the schedule I had for my wedding could be one of the worst with millions of details and things that needed to be coordinated by the minute and Kirsty & Maria managed to let me relax totally on my wedding day & remember I’m a control freak! After the wedding I heard crazy things that happened in the background but neither me, my husband or our guests noticed that!
I cannot emphasize enough how great Kirsty & Maria’s help have been. We left Santorini with the best memories possible! THANK YOU <3

I can not speak highly enough about Kirsty at Kivotos of Aegean, Kirsty made our wedding magical and it was such an enjoyable experience from start to finish. From the first moment we spoke on Skype, she totally put us at ease, so approachable and down to earth. Kirsty listened to what we were looking for and the options she gave us were fabulous. The budget we had was not massive, so it's amazing how she achieved the dream. From the venue to the food, make up artist hair stylist, photographer Kirsty got it all right. She got to know us personally and I feel a big connection with her. It makes me emotional just thinking about how she made our day the most magical day of our lives for us and our guests.

My husband and I, we decided to get married in somewhere special. When I put it in Google "beautiful places to marry", Santorini was rated as the best place in the world. After my search, I found Kivotos of Aegean Wedding Designers. From there, all my dreams became true.
My wedding planner, Kirsty, was not just helpful to organise my wedding, she also understood our style, she made a wedding packaging that's in our budget, advised me about the place for the ceremony and also places to go and have fun in Santorini.
Our wedding, was exactly how we thought! Even better!

There is a wedding planner in Santorini who stands head and shoulders above the competition – her name is Kirsty. Even if you find a cheaper wedding planner in Santorini – make the investment and work with Kirsty of Kivotos of Aegean.

Nothing is too much trouble for Kirsty and she will hit the ground running with whatever enquiry/request you throw her way. She is friendly, bubbly, efficient and truly dedicated to her bride and groom.

We had complete confidence in Kirsty and trusted her wholeheartedly with the planning and organising of our special day. From start to finish Kirsty took meticulous care of every detail to ensure our special day was completely magical and went like clockwork which allowed me, my (now) husband and our guests to completely relax and enjoy the day.

Prior to the wedding an issue arose with my birth certificate which meant there may have been a possibility that we couldn’t get married if the paperwork was not sorted on time. On the day I found out I was a wreck (it was the same day all of our guests have paid their final instalment of their holiday). I sent an email to Kirsty briefing her on what had happened. Kirsty phoned me immediately and where others had failed (including my husband) Kirsty managed to calm me down and took charge of matters from her end to find a work around. And guess what …she did! Believe me, you want this woman on your team.

Another point to mention, just to give further testament to Kirsty’s ability and professionalism, our wedding and reception were both being held outside, in the days leading up to the wedding the island experienced unbelievably heavy rain. Kirsty never mentioned it to us (it was only as I asked after the wedding what would have happened if it had rained on the day) and she had already secured alternative venues if required.

Kirsty has knack of making you feel like you are her only client.

If Carlsberg did wedding planners Kirsty would be it.

Kirsty was our wedding planner for our recent wedding in May and we are so glad we chose her to help make our day as fabulous as it was! In the early stages of looking for a planner Kirsty was instantly the one I felt most at ease with, very friendly and suggesting a Skype call to talk things through, I knew from this point that nothing would be too much trouble. We visited Santorini shortly after and spent a day with Kirsty visiting the venues, meeting our photographer and doing some food tasting, all of which we really enjoyed and added to the experience for us. We also met up again when we arrived on the island for the wedding to run through any final details and then I could relax and look forward to the big day. Just hours before the wedding a thunder storm hit, while I was very stressed Kirsty was on the phone and had two back up plans very quickly, luckily we took a risk as the weather looked like it was going to clear and from the moment I stepped outside the weather was perfect. From then on the day was amazing, we had a brilliant day and we could see that our guests had a brilliant day too with a lot of them saying it was the best wedding they had ever been to!

Everyone we interacted with at Kivotos was extremely professional and far exceeded my expectations. Kirsty, our main contact and wedding planner, was everything we could have asked for, and more. It's hard to place your trust, especially when planning an overseas event but she simply made our wedding. She was on top of everything from day one, very responsive, and had total control over our entire event. We had a few issues arise through the process - our original ceremony venue fell through (from the venue's side) and one of our party favors arrived damaged - and Kirsty remained in total control and we didn't have to worry. She made sure everything ultimately worked out without a hitch. Everyone's demeanor was always professional and uplifting. They genuinely love what they do, and celebrate your occasion with you!

Other examples of the Kivotos team going above and beyond to ensure our experience:
- Kirsty had secured our transport from the airport to the hotel complementary, and my sister and mother were to travel with us. My sister arrived on the same flight as me and my husband, but my mother's flight was delayed. One of the drivers offered to stay (and did stay) at the airport with my sister for another hour to wait for my mother's flight and ultimately drove them both to our hotel, at no charge. This was a huge relief for us!
- On the day of our wedding, the wind picked up pretty quickly and some of our guests became cold. Maria, one of the other coordinators, offered (and did provide) her own personal pashminas and scarfs from her house, so that everyone was comfortable. It was extremely considerate!
Overall, we remain extremely impressed with Kivotos and highly recommend their services to anyone who is looking for utmost professionalism and peace of mind for their special event.

Couldn't have asked for a better wedding team to pull off the wedding of my dreams! In addition to wedding planning, Kirsty and her team helped organize our group activities and our honeymoon. Kirsty went above and beyond our expectations. She was very attentive to my needs and it showed in her prompt and detailed email correspondences. I highly recommend Kivotos of Aegean for wedding planning AND travel accommondations. I definitely plan on using them for vacation travel arrangements next time I go to Europe!

Choosing a wedding planner was so crucial to my husband and I - being the person tasked with organising everything for us whilst we languished in the UK! Ultimately, I was so impressed by the initial response I got from Kirsty and the fact she had taken so much time to answer my questions (plus adding some ideas on what we could do), that there was no contest in going with her as our wedding planner. We spent a lot of time working with Kirsty (remotely and in person) and it was truly a wonderful, collaborative process. What we most appreciated was that she took our ideas and created something that exceeded our expectations, within budget and without any real stress. Kivotos even helped us plan some fantastic pre-wedding events in the days before our wedding. On the wedding day, everything went like clockwork. I was able to completely relax and go with the flow and having that security and trust in Kivotos was worth everything – because it meant I could truly be in the moment without worrying. All our guests had travelled a long way to be there with us and so it was so crucial to us that they had a wonderful day to remember. Many of our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been too and whilst biased, my husband and I both agree! Kivotos had added so many little touches too, meaning it was a very personal and intimate day. We literally cannot thank Kirsty, Maria, Xenofon and the team at Kivotos enough. I think when hiring an overseas wedding planner you almost expect, as standard, that the planner will be highly organised, professional, have specialist local knowledge and can answer all your various questions, silly or not. You also need someone you can put your trust in, who genuinely understands what you want. For me, we got all this, but also people who made it fun and enjoyable, too. The lovely people at Kivotos really touched our hearts and through the process of organising our wedding with us, have now become very dear friends to my husband and I.

We couldn't have asked for more from our wedding planners! When planning a wedding in a country that's not your own it's important to have support and guidance and Kirsty and Maria were just amazing!

Nothing was too much for them and they made us feel like we were the only wedding they were planning!

If you are thinking about getting married to Santorini then do it as it really is the most amazing wedding venue ever and look no further for 1st class wedding planners!

We truly had the wedding of our dreams in fact it was better than I ever imagined and I have Kirsty and Maria to thank for that (well along with my friends and family who came to celebrate with us) Kirsty and Maria really do their jobs to the highest standards.

Kivotos made planning my wedding easy, fun and stress free. Good communication. Easy to get a hold of (considering I live in Canada), they have the greatest staff, and they have tons of great decorating ideas.
Also, their knowledge of the island and different locations was definitely very helpful.
I was so happy that I picked Kivotos of Aegean as my wedding planners. They take care of everything so you don't have to worry. My whole family loved the experience too, and I would hire them again in a second!

Kirsty was our wedding planner for our Santorini ceremony, it was more than we could have imagined and she really did take the stress and worry away. I would recommend Kirsty to any bride to be - she is professional, approachable, understanding, caring, has a flare for decoration and an eye for detail. Honestly couldn't have enjoyed our day as much if Kirsty and her team had not been there. Everything was thought of, went to plan and we didn't have to chase her at all. We can’t thank you enough for making our wedding the BEST DAY of our lives! Kirsty super succeeded our expectations in working with us to plan our destination wedding in Santorini, Greece!! We honestly couldn't have done it without her. We had the most beautiful wedding in Santorini, Greece on the 2nd of September 2014 at Dana Villas.
Kirsty was our Wedding Planner and from the time we finalised our wedding date back in June 2013, she was always so friendly, helpful and supportive. Being a destination wedding - we obviously had so many questions, but with Kirsty's quick response on emails and her help and guidance, it made the planning seem effortless and stress free. Exactly what we wanted. The decor and flowers were beautiful and they were able to make our vision come alive. It was breathtaking! We can honestly say that we would not change anything prior or on the day of the wedding and that is all thanks to Kirsty and Maria! Thank you so much for making our wedding the most beautiful and magical day of our lives and for making our dreams come true!

I was married in Santorini on the 30th August Kirsty was my wedding planner for my special day. She has was nothing but the best from the start, she is professional but also someone you can call a friend. I love that she is honest with you and gives her true opinions. I felt so relieved and at ease knowing that Kirsty is there for me throughout all the planning. She was amazing on the day of our wedding and the days leading up to it. She kept me informed of all occurrences and i always felt in control and stress free. On the day of my wedding she was so professional and on the go all day. She made sure everything was done the way i wanted it. And the Church and reception venue was stunning. She took care of all the details through out the night, i didn't have to think about anything she made sure everything ran as planned and was fun. Every detail whether it was big or small was taken care of. She always consulted me before decisions were made or changed. If you are planning a wedding in the beautiful island of Santorini look up Kirsty you will not regret it.

From the first point of contact (Jan 2014) we were impressed with how quickly Kirsty and Maria responded to us, usually within 24 hours, whether it via email or Skype from our home in Australia. The amount of time and effort Kirsty and Maria put in was unbelievable, even the most minor details were remembered to ensure our wedding was everything we hoped for.

The fee we were charged by Kivotos Santorini to engage their services was minimal in comparison to the value we received from their careful planning and advice and trust me, you won't understand until after the wedding day just how well priced their service actually is.

We were married in a Greek Orthodox ceremony at Agios Anastasis in Imerovigli followed by a reception at Dana Villa's in Firostefani. We had 12 guests.

Kirsty and Maria helped us arrange and implement the appropriate paperwork for an orthodox wedding, booking of the church / priest we preferred, the Dana Villas reception venue which is amazing! Arrangement of the table settings, selecting a photographer, flowers + bouquet and DJ services with lighting candles etc.

Kirsty, Maria and the priest met with my wife and I the day before the wedding.
The day after the wedding Maria drove us to the town hall to lodge the wedding documentation and upon arriving home in Australia about 4 weeks later, the wedding certificate was in the mail!

The one thing I suggest is choose your photographer wisely, we chose one of the more affordable photographers because my wife's sister is a photographer in Australia. In the end this was the wrong decision, her photo's were better with a compact camera then the person we paid. Choose a more expensive photographers (vangelis etc) to not be disappointed.

We cannot thank Kivotos of Aegean Santorini Wedding Planners enough! For a phenomenal experience that you and your guests will never forget, I highly recommend using their services.

Kirsty, Maria and the priest met with my wife and I the day before the wedding.
The day after the wedding Maria drove us to the town hall to lodge the wedding documentation and upon arriving home in Australia about 4 weeks later, the wedding certificate was in the mail!

The one thing I suggest is choose your photographer wisely, we chose one of the more affordable photographers because my wife's sister is a photographer in Australia. In the end this was the wrong decision, her photo's were better with a compact camera then the person we paid. Choose a more expensive photographers (vangelis etc) to not be disappointed.

We cannot thank Kivotos of Aegean Santorini Wedding Planners enough! For a phenomenal experience that you and your guests will never forget, I highly recommend using their services.

We got married on June 2014 in Santorini and Kirsty from Kivotos of Aegean was my wedding planner. Kirsty did an amazing job. Everything was easy for her and communication was brilliant. We decided to hold the ceremony in Dana villas and reception at theros wave bar and we were dacning until 4 am. Kirsty stayed almost till the end to make sure it all run smoothly according to our plan. This was a perfect day! All my friends agreed that this was the most beautifull wedding they ever attended. I can highly recommend Kirsty and her team, be sure your wedding will be a success if it's organised by Kivotos of Aegean.

Kirsty and Maria were amazing and we would highly recommend them to everyone! They helped us organise our wedding from the comfort of our own home in Ireland with very little stress. They met us when we first went to Santorini and brought us around the island showing what was on offer and helped us decide what best suited us. Kirsty was in constant contact and always there to answer any question we had. Our wedding day was everything we hoped for and more :)

My husband and I used Kivotos of Aegean wedding planners to plan our wedding in May of this year and we cannot recommend them highly enough!
From the very start of the process Kirsty took all of the stress out of planning a wedding, which made the whole experience fun and exciting. We wanted something special but a relaxed and laid back wedding, which is exactly what we got! The standard package offered includes All that you need for a very reasonable price but there is the option to add extras e.g. Help with organising and translating the documents needed.
Everything from the venues (santos winery and then Pyrgos restaurant) to the flowers, transport, reception decoration, photographer, food and wine was just as we asked for. Kirsty was always available to help throughout the whole process and would bend over backwards to make sure everything was perfect.
My friends and family all said that I was the most relaxed bride they had seen but I think that was because Kirsty took all of the stress away and made the whole experience one which we will cherish forever!

Using an out of the country travel agent to book a trip online was very nerve wrecking. However, Kivotos made everything seamless. We would have never been able to go on the trip we did without their help. Everything from taxis and transfers to day outings that we wanted were included. We also tried local travel agents, extremely out-dated. If you're thinking about Greece travel definitely check them out!

She was so informative, helpful and supportive throughout the wedding planning process. It was really fun and exciting to plan the day and having a planner like Kirsty who is an expert on Santorini made everything really easy.
