  Must have wedding photographer!

  Kristen was hands down our favorite wedding vendor. She took engagement and wedding photos for us, and they are absolutely stunning. My husband is not someone who was looking forward to all of the engagement/ wedding photos, and when they were done he couldn’t stop talking about how much fun he had. Kristen made us feel so at ease and comfortable, and it translates in the pictures what a great time we were having. She was incredibly organized, communicative, and kind throughout our wedding planning and on our wedding day. Our friends and family can’t stop talking about how much they love our photos. We are so glad we got to work with Kristen!

  A Must Have Wedding Photographer

  We loved working with Kristen Cloyd for our wedding and engagement photography. She is incredibly talented and professional. When looking for a photographer for our wedding day, we wanted to make sure that we went with someone that would make us feel comfortable by being ourselves. Kristen was the perfect fit. During our engagement photos, she worked with us to create some beautiful memories which we incorporated into our wedding website, save the dates, and wedding invitations. I was really impressed with Kristen when she offered to do our detail pictures before the wedding day which added time back to our wedding day photography timeline. She was incredibly flexible with our schedules and the sneak peeks of the detail shots are incredible. I can’t wait to see the rest and glad these pictures weren’t rushed on the wedding day. Fast forward to wedding day, Kristen showed up on time and got right into organizing the shot list. We have a bigger, blended family so it was a lot to coordinate, but Kristen handled it so well. She made sure all of my photography combinations were met throughout the day and was extremely flexible when timelines changed. Kristen is not just a wedding vendor to us; she is a friend. She has emotional intelligence that is unmatched. When the timelines went a little longer than anticipated, she recognized my uncomfortableness and reassured me that everything would be okay. She cares about her couples and I can say I’ve witnessed it first-hand. We could not imagine our wedding day without Kristen. We would highly recommend Kristen Cloyd Photography.

  Kristen is the best!

  Kristen is absolutely amazing! We booked with Kristen for our 2020 wedding, which was moved twice and finally happened May 2021. Throughout the entire process of rescheduling, she was supportive and always quick to respond. Leading up to our wedding day, Kristen was SO organized and on top of the wedding day timeline, ensuring we would capture the moments that meant the most to us. Throughout the wedding day, we received numerous compliments on the photographers. Kristen kept our family portraits moving at a steady pace and she was so fun to work with during the bridal party and bride/groom shots. If you’re looking for a wedding photographer in the Chicagoland, I strongly recommend booking with Kristen!

  Can’t even put into words how amazing Kristen is!

  Kristen is worth every penny!! She was amazing from start to finish and we had to move the date three times. She was helpful and answered very promptly if I ever had a question! She was a dream to work with on the wedding day because she stayed calm, organized, collected, and professional ALL day (and I was a little psycho/frantic in the beginning lol and she knew just how to deal with me). It poured on and off that day, the sun only popped out for maybe an hour the whole day, and the bottom of my trash got trashed from mud/puddles so we weren’t expecting much out of the photos….but OMG. When I say we were BLOWN AWAY I can’t even express fully in words. Every single photo was amazing. Not a bad one in the bunch. She knew just what to tell us to do the entire day so we had a variety of all different kinds of pics to choose from. So many amazing candid moments that she captured also. Seriously, if you’re looking for an amazingly, talented photographer, STOP looking you found the one!! Beyond happy with Kristen and how everything turned out!!

  Stop what you’re doing and book her!

  There truly aren’t adequate words to express how incredible Kristen is, both professionally and as an individual. They say to “shop around” for a photographer before you choose one, but I’m here to tell you not to risk missing an opportunity to have her on your team by shopping around. If she isn’t available for your date, MOVE YOUR DATE. She is so much more than a photographer. She helps with vendors, timelines, and so much more. I felt like I was hanging out with a longtime friend. Kristen is responsive, professional, kind, and down to earth. I am so thankful we had the joy of meeting her and spending our (mini) wedding day with her. All of the above words and I haven’t even gotten to her photography yet! Her light and airy editing style is so elegant and timeless. I was anxious before the big day and texted her my worries. She went out of her way to ease my mind and work with me throughout photos so that I was comfortable & I know the images will reflect the way I felt. Highly, highly, highly recommend! Best decision we made for our wedding!

  Beyond our photographer!

  Kristen was absolutely amazing! From the first time I connected with her over the phone, to our initial meeting, follow up conversations and of course the actual wedding day, she was ON TOP OF IT! She also even helped us with ideas for the day of timeline (as far as photography goes) to make sure we didn't miss any special moments and everything flowed seamlessly.
  
  Kristen was creative with shots, knew how to wrangle our group and captured some absolutely amazing moments. My husband and I cannot say enough nice things about our experience and look forward to seeing more pictures as they arrive!

  Wedding Photographer

  Kristen and her team were amazing. We hired her for my daughter's wedding last weekend. Despite it raining and having to move the ceremony and cocktail hour inside, they were so accommodating and she came prepared with umbrellas ( which made for some great photos). She paid close attention to all the details and from our initial look at the pictures, capture some great pictures. She is so pleasant to work with and so his her team. I can highly recommend Kirsten and her team for your wedding photos. She truly loves what she does and it is very apparent in her work product.

  Just the best!

  Kristen is really the best photographer I could’ve asked for. She was so easy to work with, responsive throughout our entire engagement, and was extremely efficient on the day of (even when it came down to trying to organize 50+ people for family photos at the church)! She is patient and sweet, and that was exactly what we needed day of. And most importantly, her work is amazing! We’ve gotten a few photos back already and I’m so excited to see more!! Thank you to Kristen and Karen!!!

  I don’t even know where to start! From the moment we met Kristen we knew we HAD to have her as our photographer. We had never taken professional pictures before and we were nervous for our engagement shoot, but she made us feel SO comfortable and made it such a fun and relaxed experience! And somehow, she even made us look like we knew what we were doing! Her husband helped us with our dog so we were able to include him in pictures and that meant so much to us! Kristen’s pictures speak for themselves. She is so incredibly talented and captured our wedding day in such a beautiful, magical way that we will cherish forever!   What an absolutely flawless experience! We are SOOOO happy!

  As my husband is REALLY into photography (knows more than the average person), finding a photographer with him was extremely difficult. Kristen however, met and exceeded his and my expectations. We e-mailed a LOT of photographers and finally narrowed it down to just a handful. Kristen instantly won our hearts. Her sweet personality and amazing talent was exactly what we needed to help with our nerves on our wedding day. Kristen was so detail oriented and attentive throughout our whole wedding planning process. We had issues with getting to our engagement shoot, and she was so understanding and compassionate about it. Being a very talented photographer is only one piece to the puzzle of having a great vendor on your wedding day. Kristen and her crew had each and every one of the pieces to make an AMAZING vendor. Her husband and assistant Justin, was so kind and helpful, even a family members commented on how he helped them on the wedding day. Her whole crew went above and beyond what was expected on my wedding day. Kristen showed up 30 minutes before she was expected to and set up in our hotel room. She factored in every detail like lighting and props to get the perfect photo. She even worked a LOT harder than I am to make sure I got a specific photo she knew would be important to me. Kristen just delivered all of my photos and my husband and I are overjoyed with the results. My family all reply with a “WOWWW” when I send them a picture that was taken by her. Kristen was one of my vendors I had full faith in throughout the wedding planning process. If you book Kristen, you truly have nothing to worry about.
