  We were so happy we hired Kristen to capture our wedding! She was lovely to work with leading up to the big day, and on our wedding day she was so good at making sure we got all the shots in we wanted, stayed on the timeline, and was so sweet directing everyone during portraits. When we got our photos back we were thrilled to see how good they looked. They are romantic, soft, and classic, exactly what I was looking for. Kristen beautifully showcased all our best features and brilliantly captured the special moments, big and small. Some of our black and white portraits especially look like serious fine art and I can't wait to get prints framed! We will cherish our wedding photos for years not just because of what they represent but because of how beautiful they are to look at!

  We were so happy we hired Kristen to capture our wedding!   Let's be honest, there are plenty of wedding photographers out there, but there's only one Kristen :-D Anyone can take a nice picture with a nice camera, but not everyone has a "good eye" and it's clear that Kristen definitely does. I think when I was trying to look for a photographer, I really wanted the photographer to capture the "essence" of our story and relationship and I think Kristen did that...and so much more! She made my now-husband and I feel so comfortable in front of the camera and the pictures are hands down, probably the BEST WEDDING PICTURES I've ever seen. Maybe I'm biased, but seriously, her work belongs on the front page of every major bridal magazine!
  
  Out of all the vendors that I had to book, she was the first one that I booked and next to my wedding venue and makeup artist, she was one of my most favorite vendors to work with! I think if you're deciding between photographers, you need to look at all the pieces of work from a stylistic standpoint. And, I think this is what Kristen definitely excels at. Her style is very consistent. It's ethereal, romantic, and soft--everything that you would want from a wedding photographer.

  You'd be crazy not to hire Kristen! Not only is her work stunning, unique, and artistic (she makes you look better than you knew you could!), but her attitude, demeanor, and professionalism is unmatched. In all the craziness of a wedding day, it was so comforting to have a calm, friendly, and organized voice to help us capture all the moments we wanted to be sure we got. Plus her attention to detail and making every detail beautiful is fantastic.
  
  From the first phone call Kristen really builds a genuine relationship with you, gets to know you, what you want and brings you into her photography family. All her work, even the small things like sending you the photos on USB, has a beautiful and artistic touch, showing you that you are working with someone who pours love and care into all the work she does.
  
  Did I mention she works in the lost art of film photography?!? Using film gives each photo such a timeless look and showcases her skill as a photographer. She also utilizes digital when needed so you get the best of both worlds.
  
  I cannot speak highly enough of Kristen. I feel lucky to have gotten to work with her, to know her, and we will definitely be using her as our photographer from now on!

  What can I say--Kristen is absolutely SPECTACULAR! While planning my wedding I searched high and low for an incredible photographer with a great eye, friendly spirit, and heart for serving their clients. Kristen has all these things and MORE! My fiancé and I recently did our engagement shoot with her and Kristen went above and beyond to put us at ease and provide us with a spectacular experience. Her vision is astounding and I've never seen such beautiful pictures in my life! I've received more compliments on them than I know what to do with, and can only point to Kristen's talent and joy for providing her clients with timeless images of their love to cherish for years to come. She even delivered our images back to us in record time, all during the busy summer wedding season. Bottom Line: If you're looking for a photographer, look no further than Kristen! You won't regret it :)

  Our wedding would not have been the same without Kristen. We met her over a year before our big day, and her help and guidance got us through the wedding planning process. From engagement photos, to making lists of "must have" shots, to the perfect wedding day, she provided invaluable help and support. Her experience, professionalism, and natural eye for photography made the day perfect. Her easy going nature made everyone in my wedding party and family feel relaxed and comfortable, and this came across in all of our portraits. She gave the right amount of direction to get the perfect shots. Our pictures came out better than we could have dreamed! Most importantly, Kristen made us feel like our wedding was her #1 priority, even though she is busy with numerous other clients at the same time. I truly felt important and special, and this is hard to come by with most wedding vendors. I would HIGHLY recommend Kristen to any and all brides in the Virginia area. She is a true artist and professional, and has now become a friend.

  Before my Wedding one of my top priorities was to have an amazing photographer, I love pictures so this was important to me and I wanted to have someone that could capture all the moments of our special day. I could not image working with anyone else besides Kristen to make these wishes of mine come true. From the first consultation to delivering the printed photos and not to mention every little detail and work in between she has exceeded our highest exceptions. Our Wedding day went off with out a hitch thanks to Kristen, on her own she went to our venue and met with our coordinator to come up with a time line for the day so we could be sure to have enough time to capture all the shots we wanted to get and even more. This was amazing and I did not have to worry about a thing. At the reception she captured the best photos of us mingling and laughing with friends (which are some favorite) and she did this with out being in the way or us even noticing that pictures were being done. Everyone I show my wedding pictures to are blown away, Kristen really knows what shes doing and her work shows. I would recommend her to anyone and would hire her again 100x over :) Very very happy!

  AWESOME!! Kristen captured the most beautiful images on our wedding day. She managed to not miss a single moment that we wanted shot. The wedding would not have been the same without her. She is an artist, but also one of the kindest people I have met. We were lucky to have her share in our wedding.

  Kristen did an absolutely beautiful job on our wedding (and engagement!) photos. We booked her without meeting in person because I was planning the wedding from NY and I have not had one regret about doing so. She had worked at my venue Riverside on the Potomac in the past and from seeing those photos I knew she would do a beautiful job.
  
  My fiancee normally hates having his picture taken and Kristen made him feel comfortable throughout the whole process--it was great not having to worry about this part of our day at all! We had to reschedule our engagement photos due to a death in the family and Kristen was kind and flexible about it. She is so talented and dedicated to getting great pictures--and it shows in the finished products! We are so happy with having these photos to enjoy for years.
