Kurt and Sheena are so amazing! We’ve used them for engagement pictures, bridal portraits, and our wedding day pictures. Not only do they do whatever needs to be done to capture the best shot every time, but they are also so much fun to be around! They complement each other incredibly well and bring fun, new ideas to each session (while incorporating any ideas you may have on your own). They are a joy to work with, while also being professional and acknowledging the importance of their role in capturing the big moments in our life. We had to move our engagement picture date and my bridal portrait date, and they were very flexible and worked with me to find new dates that worked for everyone. I was also extremely pleased (and surprised) with the quick turnaround on getting access to our pictures. I can honestly say the quality of the pictures and the creativity of the shots far exceeded our expectations. We’re so appreciative of all they’ve done for us and couldn’t recommend them more! -

Kurt and Sheena of Kurt Hilton Photography are an absolute dream team to work with. Kurt photographed my brother's wedding last year and after seeing his amazing work, we knew we had to have him capture our day! Not only is his work outstanding, but Kurt's approach and working style made us feel comfortable and at ease. Kurt shot both our engagement photos and our wedding day, and both experiences were absolutely wonderful. My husband and I are not ones to feel totally comfortable in front of the lens, but Kurt's laid back style helped us relax and enjoy ourselves. I am completely blown away by Kurt's work. The photographs are more beautiful than I could have imagined – he perfectly captured our day, allowing our personalities to shine through. We are so grateful to have these photos to relive our wedding day!
Not only did Kurt photograph our wedding, but his wife Sheena worked as our day-of coordinator. Sheena is an absolute rockstar. She managed to run our entire day flawlessly, with more than 10 vendors to manage and keep on track. Sheena made sure that the timeline ran smoothly from start to finish, and encouraged my mom and I to relax and enjoy the day. She made sure the day was stress-free for the both of us, and I couldn't have been more appreciative of her attention to detail and determination to get things done.
I can't say enough good things about Kurt and Sheena. As husband and wife, they work so perfectly together with clear, quick communication to keep the day running smoothly. They make the best team and were a joy to work with. It truly felt like they were just part of the family! Picking a wedding photographer is a crucial choice when it comes to being able to look back at your magical day filled with fond memories and missed moments.
We found Sheena and Kurt through our day-of coordinator at The Mathews House in Cary, NC. This Husband and Wife team helped us make our day one to remember for years to come; not only capturing some key moments and funny shots , but also assisting us in many ways with our wedding. They have done an above-and-beyond job for our wedding and I would easily recommend them to anyone looking for professional photos.Kurt Hilton Photography's reply:

Outstanding Experience!
Kurt Hilton created a wonderful wedding experience for our whole family. From beginning to end, they were easy to work with, responsive and flexible. From the Bridal Shoot to the spontaneous pictures outside in the cold – their focus and creativity was amazing!
The bride and groom were blown away at how perfect everything was. They went above and beyond our expectations. They have helped to create an amazing once in a life time memory that our whole family will remember.

Jamie Sent on 12/06/2017Kurt (and Team) are amazing! They did our engagement photos, bridal portrait, and wedding. All pictures were very high quality! Kurt works hard for his shots and went to great lengths to get the perfect picture. I even had to tell Kurt, we were done on wedding night... our wedding venue was close to the capital building downtown in our home city, we had requested some photos to be taken of us and our friends there and on the walk. I think Kurt would have taken photos all night if we had let him...which truly shows his dedication to his work and clients. We would hire Kurt all over again!!!

Kurt and Sheena did engagement photos for my wife and I at JC Raulston Arboretum. It's the best experience we've ever had with professional photos. They were kind and easy going. We immediately felt like we'd known them forever. They cared about our opinion and wanted to make us feel as comfortable as possible. We felt really awkward about being photographed, but somehow they made it natural and easy. The two of them work so well together, and they captured amazing shots of us. The colors were just stunning. We'd recommend them to anyone looking for a photographer. They'll exceed your expectations. We eloped for our wedding, but if we hadn't, we definitely would've had them photograph it.
