Kalamazoo Wedding Co (previously known as Kzoom) is best in class! Dan is a true professional and worked with us when we had to reschedule our ceremony due to COVID. Jordan was our videographer the day of and we cannot say enough amazing things about him. He was such a joy to work with and helped us capture the day perfectly. The entire Kalamazoo Wedding Co team is passionate and takes a lot of pride in their work. Thank you for helping to make our day so special! -

Words cannot describe how amazing of a company Kzoom Photo & Video is. They were our photographers & videographers at our 8/18/18 wedding.
We were recommended to check out Kzoom when I mentioned that we were looking for a photographer for our wedding. We set up a meeting with Dan & never looked back! Not only was he so knowledgeable about photography AND videography, but he also truly listened to what we wanted.
We communicated via email & text (which I preferred) and they were always prompt to respond to any and all of our questions. We also loved that we could pay on our balance whenever we wanted throughout our engagement.
The day of the wedding was such a whirlwind of emotions & we are so thankful that Kzoom was there to capture those emotions in both photographs & in the video.
Kzoom is so professional, yet fun. They had our wedding party, family members & guests laughing and smiling throughout the wedding. They are all so sweet & funny. They captured so many candid moments that are now our favorites to look back on.
We absolutely love our wedding photos. They gave us such a variety & they are organized into different albums which I LOVE. I still cry every time I watch the preview for our wedding video and I CANNNNNOT WAIT to see the final video!
We cannot thank Kzoom enough for helping to make our wedding day as perfect as it was. They have supplied us with pictures and videos that we will cherish for the rest of our lives.Kalamazoo Wedding Co.'s reply:

The photographers were engaging, creative, able to wrangle a rowdy bunch and thought of every single last detail to capture! The videographer was equally as fantastic, fun to work with and certainly helped ease our nerves as we are not used to being in front of a camera. We are very grateful to have hundreds of beautiful photos, an awesome highlight video and great memories to look back on and relive our magical day. Thank you so much Kzoom!! 100 stars!!

Laine Sent on 06/28/2018Kzoom did AMAZING. We got our sneak peak wedding photos back within 1.5 days, and all of our engagement photos back within 3 days. They really help walk you through the process and figure out what the couple wants. We used them for photography AND videography

They were the first vendor that we booked with because of how impressed we were with their work. We are so in love with our photos and our video! We had the sneak peaks of our photos the Monday after our wedding and the whole album was done a week later! We also got our highlight video the same week! Dan Martin and Josh Stanton were great to work with and very talented. We would definitely recommend kzoom to anyone!

A friend of mine recommended getting a wedding videographer for the big day because it goes by so fast & also as a bride/groom you might not get to see everything that happens.
My Mom and I came across Kzoom at a bridal show in Kalamazoo and I am so lucky that we did!
We got to see work they had done. Right at that moment I knew they were my videographer before even signing a contract.
Their work is outstanding! I was watching 5 minute sneak peak videos of peoples weddings that I had never met before and I was crying!
Throughout the entire process Dan & his team were true professionals. Dan met with us at a coffee shop to go over all the details to make sure that everything happened they way we envisioned it and that is exactly what happened the day of our wedding.
Kzoom has exceeded all of our expectations. They made our day feel so special and captured so many moments that with time would fade in our memories.
They were with us for 12 hours that day and it all just blended together so nicely. They were there to capture every personal moment & hilarious moment. It never felt intrusive but just like a friend was with you sharing the day.
Our wedding was very recent and it takes a lot of hours to edit the video and put it to music (we got to choose 12 songs which was fun!) so we opted to go with the 5 minute sneak peak video so we would have something really quick after the wedding to view. So far on facebook there are over 1100 views and 100 of them are probably from me :)
I have fallen in love with the short video and can not wait to receive the full length video!
If you have been considering a videographer go for it and please choose Kzoom! You will be totally impressed all the way around with them.
If you are like me and on a budget kzoom is one of the easier vendors to fit in. The majority of the balance isn't due for 3 to 4 months after the wedding so financially it works! -
User1559758 Sent on 03/17/2014K'Zoom was fantastic to work with! From the start I was reassured that they listen to your ideas and tailor the video to your preferences. If you tell them your likes and your dis-likes you will not have to give it a second thought on your special day. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Joe on our wedding day. He was very friendly and pleasant to have around. I did not need to give instruction or worry about where he was, as he was always in the perfect place. I loved how he was always there but yet I never noticed him. He captured moments that could not have been planned, he was just there for them. The laughter, the tender moments, the candid shots, the serious times and fun ones - he got it all! We were very thankful to have Joe as our videographer. Fabulous work and great down-to-earth guy. We appreciate so much that he knew his job and went about getting what was needed done without direction. He blended into the background and somehow was there for every moment. He went above and beyond our expectations by doing the little extras I would not have thought about. We are so excited to be able to relive that perfect day for many years to come!!! -
User2469071 Sent on 12/15/2015Dan Martin & Josh Smeader (for photography, also through Kzoom) were amazing!!!! After doing three different engagement shoots with Josh (one of which his wife Jess also came to assist), and they were both our photographers for our wedding, we felt like we became so comfortable with one another and have been able to build a friendship upon that.
Our photos came back about 4-5 weeks after the wedding, which is unheard of! And our video is hopefully expected to be completed sometime over the next 2-3 weeks...we loved everything about this vendor and our friends who attended the wedding are also using them for photo/video as well.
Although the initial cost of the packages are a little high, the work they do and the relationship you build with them will be well worth it! -

When I was looking for videographers and doing initial research, Dan and his teaming through all of the details and package options up front so I felt very informed. They offer a unique model of including interviews of family, friends and the bridal party which we will enjoy seeing. I worked with Joe day-of, and he was wonderful! He asked really good interview questions and mingled with the wedding guests in a great way. He had a very artistic approach and the behind the scenes and shots of the ceremony and reception spaces were great! He was very professional and I didn't feel like he was intrusive in any way, which was really nice. We got our 5 minute preview video with a few days of the wedding. I've probably watched it 30 times already!! We can't wait to see the full length video!! -

Jenny A. Sent on 07/28/2013We had a pleasure of working with Joe from Kzoom for our wedding. We booked him last minute, literally 11 days before the wedding, and Joe was extremely flexible in meeting with us on the Sunday before our wedding to go over all the details in person with us. We live out of state and his flexibility was greatly appreciated, he had no problem meeting us on off times that worked for us.
He worked with us to make sure he was going to catch all of our must haves and the end result was breathtaking, even my wife who was against a videographer from the beginning said it was worth it!
A videographer isn’t cheap and takes a lot of time to get the end result, wedding in May, first preview in December and the final DVD’s arrive in January. Their packages are not customizable in anyway, you can just choose to add items ala cart, which is kind of frustrating but worked out in the end.

User1288335 Sent on 08/15/2013I must say that the product was good but the customer service from Joe Roberts at Kzoom was the worst I have EVER experienced. I was married in October 2012 and am just now getting the final product (August 2013). First off, Joe is very lazy and is not very good about returning emails, phone calls, etc. Also, part of the contract that I paid almost $3000 for said that I would be getting3 leaterbound albums. When I did finally receive my completed discs (which took almost a year to get) the leatherbound albums were not included (so I had to email him to tell him about his error). Joe did correct the error but had I not asked about it I would not have gotten what I paid for. When I did receive the albums 2 weeks later I only got 2 CD's instead of the 3 that were needed to fill the albums. Again I had to email. Please save yourself the hassle of going with Kzoom if you want timely customer service for a product that you are paying a lot of money for. Everything about my wedding and the vendors was A+ with the exception of Kzoom which I would not recommend to ANYONE!
