  Originally I worked with Courtney Laine to create simple blue topaz earrings for my bridesmaids (which were absolutely lovely), but after seeing more of her work in person when I picked up my earrings I commissioned her to make a pearl & gold bracelet with a locket and chain that my grandmother had worn on her wedding day. Courtney worked with me to find just to right off-white pearls and create the perfect bracelet to match my vintage gown. The bracelet was a fairly last minute decision for me and was way out of my price range, but Courtney let me make payments. When my wedding day was only a week away and I couldn't make my last payment because of last-minute expenses she let me extend my payment until after my honeymoon and sent the bracelet to me anyway.
  
  Courtney is one of the loveliest and kindest people I have ever had the opportunity to work with, and I am so grateful she was so flexible so I could wear my bracelet and keep the memory of my grandmother with me on my wedding day. Since my wedding I have received two other pieces of Courtney's work as gifts, and given some pieces as gifts as well, and I would recommend her jewelry to other brides or anyone looking for handcrafted jewelry without hesitation!

  I found Passamenterie when they were featured in I Do magazine and had them design the earrings & pendant I wore on my wedding day.
  
  Honestly, I was a bit nervous at first working long distance with a jewelry designer whose work I had never seen in person, however I was unable to find a designer local to me who could create what I had envisioned; but I am so glad I chose Passementerie to design my jewelry! The designer was so easy to work with and made the design process so easy for me! She sent me samples of the gemstones before starting, so I could make sure the ivory of the pearls would exactly match my gown, and didn't blink an eye when I had her add a little green (to match the sage & ivory tones I used throughout the wedding) to the earrings 5 days before my wedding! She also included a gift of earrings for my honeymoon with my finished wedding jewelry, which was such a touching gesture. Courtney has certainly earned a customer for life!
