As mother of the bride, I highly recommend Reverend Carl Lackey. He was very flexible when traffic held up the rehearsal and was very good at leading the large group of brides maids and groomsmen along with flower girl, ring bearer and junior brides maid at the rehearsal. I don't know what we would have done without him. He was very professional and sensitive to the bride and groom's desires for their wedding. He provided great resources for the bride and groom for them to be able to plan and have just what they wanted for their vows as well as special readings.
We really enjoyed the flow of the ceremony with all the components that they chose, which made it personal and intimate as well as joyful and celebratory, including with it also the feeling of solemn commitment that Reverend Carl provided. We highly recommend him for anyone looking for an excellent Officiant for their wedding. -

We are not from the area so finding a minister was important for us. After a google search and checking out a few websites we gave Carl a call. He was very easy to work with. The website access really helped us create the ceremony we were looking for. Carl was also very helpful in creating space for our children by coming up with just the right words to help us with our unique merging family. We are very happy that we found Carl and appreciate his help and professionalism. -

Carl Lackey was an absolute pleasure to work with! We contacted him on short notice and he was very accommodating and communicative. He communicated quickly and efficiently with me and my spouse leading up to the wedding and was open to any of our requests about the wording of intentions, dress codes, etc. He arrived at the venue early and was very friendly in person. He took photos with us and our family, congratulated us, and wished us a long and healthy marriage. I recommend him 100%! -

Dave was absolutely amazing! I got so many compliments on our officiant. People asked how we knew him and were shocked that that was the first time we met! They said you were so well spoken and articulated our love story so well! I couldn’t have been happier with how our ceremony went. It was perfect weather to match our perfect ceremony!
We are so honored and blessed to have Dave apart of my wedding day. We couldn’t have been happier with how the day went! It was absolutely perfect!

Let us start out by saying, WOW! Reverend Dave's service was beyond anything we expected at all. He was extremely personable from the moment we first spoke to him. From phone conversation, to texting, emailing... all the way until the ceremony was over. Thank you Reverend Dave. Talk about smooth and seamless. Getting married is already a huge and unpredictable ordeal, having an officiant that knew exactly what he's doing, yet still completely catering to our desires was everything beyond perfection. Tahoe Winter Wedding Wonderland
Rev. Dave had to fill in as a substitute due to a family emergency with our originally selected officiant. He called me to reassure me that he would make it a personal ceremony with his customized vows. We submitted our own personal vows to receive his feedback. He was kind and complimentary of our expressed love of each other. I highly recommend Rev. Dave. You will be happy with your choice. -

My husband and I got married in beautiful Lake Tahoe and got so lucky to find Rev Dave to officiate our wedding. Words cannot describe how perfect the ceremony he wrote was. I watch my wedding video over and over and his words bring tears to my eyes. My guests have complimented me over and over how beautiful the ceremony he wrote was. He was very professional and got to know us through email and zoom calls since we do not live in the area. He also had my husband and I both send him our vows to ensure both were evenly matched. My husband and I plan to renew our vows in the future and our hope is to have Rev Dave be there again to conduct the perfect ceremony. I cannot thank him enough for making our ceremony perfect. It was seriously our favorite part of the wedding day! -

Outstanding Wedding Ceremony
Absolutely phenomenal experience. We had planned a small destination wedding in Tahoe and researched several wedding officiants. Dave was highly recommended. I spent nearly 30 years in the U.S. Marine Corps, and I’m not the easiest person for someone to exceed my expectations. Dave exceeded our expectations from the start of planning to the end of the wedding ceremony. Our ceremony was held along the shore of Lake Tahoe and the weather changed quickly. It started snowing and then turned into a light rain/snow mix. While my bride and I were able to use an umbrella when needed for portions of the ceremony, Dave stood in the wet and cold weather and conducted the ceremony as though it was dry and 75 degrees out. The ceremony turned out perfect! Also, Dave is extremely personable. Everyone in our family enjoyed talking to him. If you are looking for a wedding officiant in the Lake Tahoe area, just book your ceremony with Rev. Dave Beronio. -

Reverend Dave took the time in the months before our wedding to ask questions and to get to know us. He made our little wedding ceremony so personal and his words really spoke to us. We appreciated how he touched on the little nuances of our lives to make it so unique to us! Everyone there all felt that he did a wonderful job and we couldn't be more thankful. He went out and beyond what I expected, and I especially appreciated his advice and direction for the beginning of the service, as with an elopement with no processional, it was hard to know what to do. His suggestions took the stress away for me, and made it all come together seamlessly. Highly recommend!

Above and Beyond
My husband and I cannot say enough about how amazing David was to work with. David met up with us to get to know us individually and was always very responsive to our questions. David had lots of great input on various aspects of the wedding process, he also worked with us on our vows and provided feedback which was a huge relief. David brought in a lot of personal touches and incorporated our ideas into the wedding ceremony so that it truly reflected us as a couple and our values. The day of the wedding he really orchestrated everything leading up to us going down the aisle. He made sure everyone knew where they were going and had what they needed to make the day went exceptionally smooth. David's punctuality, professionalism, experience and charisma were also above and beyond. We would absolutely recommend David for your special day! -
