Lakewood Country Club was the most perfect place to host my September wedding! I wanted the indoor/outdoor option, a delicious, plated dinner, classy decor, and clean everything!
Leah was an amazing event coordinator, and made everything effortless! She was happy to make any adjustments we requested, whether they were big or small. She made me feel at ease leading up to the wedding, and all morning, as well! Thanks to Leah, I feel like our wedding went off without a hitch

This venue was everything we wanted for our wedding. It was gorgeous and elegant without being too fussy. They were hands on for all of the planning, set all of my décor up for me the day of, all I had to do was pick the food I wanted from the tasting and drop off all of the accessories the week before. Incredibly accommodating, professional and the setting was absolutely amazing.

Fantastic venue! The staff were friendly, fast and efficient. All my guests said the food was well timed and delicious (no cold plates here!). The living room area supplied a beautiful backdrop for our photographs and a relaxing atmosphere for the people in our wedding. At sunset we went outside and took gorgeous shots on the bridge over the lake! We loved our reception at Lakewood and would highly recommend it to any new couple in the Cleveland area!

Lakewood Country Club could be relatively hard to get ahold of in the planning process, but I really shouldn't have worried as much as I did. They were perfect hosts, and everything was handled flawlessly. The food was not just good but really excellent; I still wish my pork roast came out as good as theirs did. And I wasn't the ideal bride: I sent over some additional desserts in addition to the wedding cake at the last minute and they displayed them really beautifully at the last minute. Everything about the venue was modestly tasteful (as an animal lover I wasn't sure about the hunting themed wall art in some of the rooms, but hey, it's a country club) and my guests were very impressed with how considerate and attentive the staff were. I liked how there were nooks for my guests to escape to beyond the main dining room (with comfy chairs no less!). I'd have an event here again.

I absolutely loved having my wedding reception at Lakewood Country Club, it is beautiful. Leah is the event planner and she was extremely helpful all year when I would forget things or just had random questions.
We currently live in South Carolina and got married in Westlake, so we had to communicate over the phone and email all year. Begin that we planned from afar, I never had the opportunity to go and try any of the food before the reception, but we did a buffet and it was DELICIOUS! We got many comments on appetizers and dinner.

The only reason I did not give 5 stars is to bring attention to the fact that you need to be aware that it is a Country Club and no matter what you are told before hand, if a club member complains they will get their way.
