Lamija is so incredibly talented and good at what she does! She made me feel the most beautiful I have ever felt on my wedding day. I knew I wanted Hollywood waves and full glam for my wedding and I wouldn’t have settled for anyone other than her! She is truly the best of the best especially in the upstate NY area. Stunning artistry and unmatched professionalism
Lamija is an amazingly talented artist. She was wonderful to work with and my wedding day would not have been the same without her. She highlights the beauty of her brides and gorgeously accentuates their inner light. She maintained her energy and composure while creating the hair and makeup looks for my entire bridal party. There was a rain shower during my outdoor wedding, but you would have never known based on how the hair and makeup held up! She even stayed longer than planned to provide touch-ups after the ceremony. So grateful for Lamija, she is a dream! -

Lamija literally saved my wedding day
Lamija literally saved my wedding day. One month before my wedding date I experienced every brides worst nightmare. I got a call from my original makeup artist telling me she accidentally double booked my wedding and was no longer able to do my wedding day makeup for me or my bridesmaids. She reached out to other makeup artists all over the area to see who could take over my wedding day and by miracle, Lamija happened to be available and was willing to step in last minute. At first, I was pretty disappointed because I'm super picky about my makeup and I had already done a trial with my original makeup artist and fell in love with her work. So I was very nervous to put my trust in a new artist so soon before my wedding. However, all of my worries instantly went away once I first met Lamija. First off, she was so accommodating and open to scheduling a trial with me last minute. Then once I got to my trial I was absolutely blown away with not only how beautiful my makeup was, but also how knowledgeable and experienced she was in her work. She was so professional yet so genuine and honest, and made me feel so comfortable in her chair. She paid attention to every little detail of my makeup and went out of her way to make sure it was flawless and exactly how I wanted it. I remember leaving my trial feeling so lucky and blessed to have her as my new makeup artist.
Then once my wedding day came around I was even more blown away by her work. Every single one of my bridesmaids' makeup was stunning and perfect. She took her time with each one of them and listened to all of their questions and concerns to make sure they were all happy. My wedding day makeup was also everything I ever dreamed of and more. I felt so so beautiful and couldn't help but cry when I first looked in the mirror.
She was also so accommodating and supportive on the day of. Even when my florist completely messed up my wedding flowers just hours before the ceremony. Lamija was such a calming force and gave me some great advice on how to solve the problem which actually ended up saving my wedding day again.
I truly can't thank Lamija enough for stepping in and being a part of my big day. She is absolutely amazing and worth every single penny. -

Lamija’s Beauty Room is the best of the best!
I couldn't have been happier with my wedding makeup! I actually chose my wedding date around the dates Lamija had available because I knew there wasn’t anyone else I would have trusted. Lamija truly captured the look I envisioned, enhancing my features without making me feel overdone. She used high quality makeup and products that lasted throughout the day and night, and I received so many compliments on how I looked. Her professionalism and kindness is like no other, not only on my wedding day but during my trial as well. Her ability to make me feel at ease extended to my bridesmaids and the entire wedding party, leaving everyone feeling beautiful and confident. She even took the time to walk around with me and our photographers to fix my hair and makeup in between photos. Having Lamija there was truly a wonderful experience that added to the joy of my wedding say. I highly recommend Lamija for any event or bride-to-be! -

The best of the best
Lamija is the best of the best. I was an out of town bride so finding the right vendors was a challenge. At first Lamija was not available for my date but ended up having a cancellation and contacted me right away when she was able to do my wedding. I am so thankful she did. I felt the most beautiful I have in my entire like and that confidence meant everything to me on my big day. She is a true artist and you will not regret choosing her! -

Best wedding hairstylist
When I was searching for hairstylists for my wedding day, I knew I wanted a specific hair style. I came across Lamija’s instagram page and immediately knew I had to book her! She did an amazing job with my hair and made my bridesmaids, mother, and mother in law look beautiful as well! She was very attentive to detail and my hair looked beautiful in pictures! Highly recommend! -

Lamija is one of the most talented hair and makeup artists that I have ever worked with! When it came to my big day, there was no question that I needed her there. She made me feel so beautiful, and she did a wonderful job with the rest of my bridal party as well. She works quickly and efficiently and is a joy to be around. She can do any hair style, and she can also work with extensions. She gave my hair so much needed volume and it stayed all night! If you are looking for the best, go for Lamija! -

Where to begin..
I had known years before getting engaged I would use Lamija as my wedding makeup artist. She is next level, LA/NYC type of talent and I feel lucky to have someone with this level of skill in such close proximity to where I live! I could not recommend her enough. Initially, I felt like it was quite an investment but I can’t say this enough- she is worth every penny. Everyone in my bridal party wanted her contact info after she did our makeup. You will feel like a princess on your wedding day. You will also want her to be your friend by the time you’re done working with her- she is so sweet and makes you feel so taken care of on your big day. -

I hired Lamijas to create my wedding makeup and hair vision. I must say, I’ve had my hair done plenty of times before and I’ve never had someone actually recreate the image I give them like Lamijas did. She is amazing at looking at a picture and recreating it! After my trial, I was hesitant about changing some things about my look to make it more “me.” She was very receptive to changing little details and even offered to do a second trial if I needed it. My hair and makeup was perfect on my wedding day. I will admit, I was sweating a lot and kept thinking my face was going to show it, but it never did. I’m so impressed that I didn’t have to worry about how everything was going to stay throughout the day. Definitely reach out to Lamijas if you need someone to take care of you on your wedding day! Talented is an understatement! -

Lamija goes the extra mile to ensure you are comfortable and happy with the hair style you choose. She’s professional, super sweet and so talented. I have naturally curly, frizzy hair and got married on a humid day in June. My hair did not move! 10/10 would recommend -

I don’t even have words to describe how beautiful Lamija made me and all my bridal party feel the day of my wedding. Lamija and her team are worth every penny, she makes dreams come true! As a jersey girl living in upstate ny with high expectations, when I found Lamija there simply was no other option! I made sure to reach out to her a year and a half in advance to lock her in and she lived up to all of it! She made my wedding day amazing, not only for me but my bridesmaids said it's the most attention and the best they've ever looked as a bridesmaid. She is a perfectionist who takes the time to make sure you're at your absolute best! I will definitely be coming to her in the future for special events. -

I Highly Recommend Lamija’s Beauty Room!
Lamija did an amazing job on my wedding day! She did everything she could to make me feel the absolute best I can! She was so accommodating with my skin sensitivity and she absolutely nailed the look I was going for with my makeup and hair! It looked so natural and amazing, it felt like I had no makeup on at all and despite the day being extremely windy (my wedding was on a top of a big hill) my hair looked perfect the whole day even with extensions in! I highly recommended Lamija! -

Lamija made me feel like a princess on my wedding day! When our wedding planning began, I spent a lot of time researching the hair and makeup artists in the Syracuse area. When I first saw Lamija’s Instagram, I was in awe of her talent and immediately knew I wanted to work with her! From our first phone conversations to final touches on the wedding day, I felt comfortable and relaxed and knew I was in good hands. The wedding party all had their hair and makeup done by Lamjia and her team as well. To this very day almost a year later, my mom still raves about how pretty they made her look and feel! Hiring Lamija for my wedding day was one of the easiest and best vendor decisions I made!

Lamija created my dream wedding look! I have gotten endless compliments on both my hair and makeup done by her! She made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day! Not only did she make me and my bridesmaids look flawless, she also was extremely helpful during the getting ready period and offered lots of guidance and assistance. THE best MUA in upstate/ western NY
I literally cannot say enough good things about Lamija ! Not only is she is amazing at what she does but also she’s just an awesome human being. We did sort of a mini trial after my first trial because I was torn on what I wanted and she really made me feel so confident in the makeup style I went with and also that she knew what worked best on my face. I will 100% be using her for future events. I was just so happy with it. Not to mention my hair was exactly what I envisioned. I feel like my photos don’t do it justice. Just know it was the most beautiful I’ve ever felt. All thanks to her ! -
