    Kristin was very professional to work with, and the shots were candid, lively, and reflected my daughter and her husband as a couple. Kristin captured all the important moments of the ceremony without "being in the way." She is a really good humored person and a pleasure to have around.

    Kristen is such an amazing photographer! We just received our wedding photos and we could not be happier! She was so awesome to work with and I was blown away at how beautifully she captured our special day! She caught so many special moments. It was very emotional looking through the pictures because it was like reliving that wonderful day all over again.
    And Kristen is such a professional and so lovely to work with. Thank you so much Kristen, the photos are truly amazing and we absolutely loved working with you!!

    When choosing a photographer, we really didn't know where to start. There are so many photographers in the Jacksonville/St. Augustine area and, not knowing much about photography, didn't really know where to start. After consulting my best friend (who is in the wedding) who is a photographer she brought me to Kristen at Lanierstar Photography. She pointed out the skilled way in which she uses light to enhance the photo. After talking with my friend, it became clear that Kristen's work was far superior to the others we were looking at. So I gave her a call, and that sealed the deal! I knew right away that she was going to be a fun, happy person to work with. Her laugh is contagious and makes everyone feel at ease and comfortable. Even in the midst of a time crunch and a hectic HUGE family for formal photos, Kristen kept calm and professional.
    She was also super flexible about our strange wedding schedule. We had an early morning ceremony and a late evening reception. She stayed in St. Augustine through the entire day so that she could shoot both the morning and the night celebrations.
    We couldn't have been more pleased with our engagement photos which I think really captured emotion and intimacy between my husband and I. We can not wait to get our wedding photos in a couple weeks!

    It's often hard to represent someone with stars, but in this case I'd only wished there were more. Whenever you dream about your wedding day, you create images in your head of exactly what it will look like. You work hard on every detail to make sure that vision comes true. Kristen was able capture and represent every vision I had perfectly. She knew what was important to me, and didn't miss a moment. From climbing out on the roof to listening to my Gramma, I couldn't have asked for more. Even the saturation of color matched the moods. Kristen was professional, courteous, fun, and most of all, an artist - not just a photographer. I highly recommend LanierStar for wedding and portrait photography.

    Kristen is amazing! Not only is she an incredible photographer, but she is so much fun to be around! We did an engagement session with her and she immediately put us at ease and made us feel so comfortable. We laughed almost the whole time. Our photos for the engagement and the wedding came out more beautiful than I ever could have imagined! I'm still trying to sort through the hundreds of images, but each one is stunning! I didn't even remember some of the things she was able to capture. I will treasure them forever thanks to Kristen. I would highly highly recommend her as your wedding photographer!

    Kristen is lovely! Her laugh is contagious and her personality is fun and energetic. Very easy to work with! I have not received my photos yet (my wedding was 4 days ago) but I have no worries about them. She must have taken thousands of photos throughout the night! She fit right in and was willing to roll with the craziness that is my family! I highly recommend her!

    Kristen is an amazing photographer! Her pictures are stunning and her demeanor on site was a wonderful asset to my wedding! We loved working with her for our wedding in May and also used her services for my brother's wedding in October. I strongly recommend her and LanierStar Photography! We loved our experience!

    It was absolutely wonderful working with Kristen! It is very hard to plan a wedding out of town and she made it so much easier! She is a delight and we had beautiful photos! It was easy to work with her via email and her layouts to choose for our wedding book and photo options :)

    LanierStar is a Star in our book. I am so lucky to have found a top notch photographer. Kristen of Lanier Star is a true professional and has amazing talent. Fun to work with, great customer service, and phenomenal pictures. I am completely satisfied with LanierStar and loved working with Kristen. Our pictures are beautiful and timeless!

    Kristen is amazing! I looked at a lot of different photographers websites online but once i saw Kristen's website i knew she was the one i wanted to take our pictures and it turns out i made the right choice :) Since we were from out of state we never had a chance to meet her before our session but she is so friendly and welcoming that you would never know we had just met! She made our session fun and our pictures turned out GREAT! I cannot thank her enough!!

    Kristen was truly fantastic. We just got married this past weekend and she truly made the evening special. The communication prior to the wedding was perfect. Any questions I had, Kristen was quick to respond and reassure. We had a wonderful engagement session first where we got to know each other and Kristen has a true knack for helping you to feel comfortable and yourself. Our pre-event consultation was so fun. Kristen had so many lovely recommendations and guided us through the whole process. Her portfolio is exquisite. A talented artist and a caring professional describe her work with us. When our ring boy would not pose for a picture was able to capture his attention and kept us all laughing! She was the perfect photographer for us. We felt like the only couple in the world

    Kristen Morgan of LanierStar Photography is AMAZING!! I would highly recommend her to any bride.

    Not only are the pictures absolutely beautiful but she was a blast to work with. My husband and I were a little nervous about being unphotogenic but she put us right at ease and the results were very natural and wonderful! Also on our wedding day we barely even noticed she was there!

    Kristen took the best pictures we could have possibly asked for! She is super friendly and just fits in with anyone. It never seemed as though our pictures were being taken and she just blended in with everyone at the wedding. Her prices are great and she doesn't make you pick packages with everything like many photographers do! I would recommend her to anyone!

    LanierStar more than exceeded my expectations as my engagement and wedding photographer. From her contagious laugh to attentiveness to what the client wanted (welcoming any new and creative ideas), she was a pleasure to work with all around. The pictures are even better - in fact, two of my friends and my sister in law all used LanierStar for their big day. Every shot is artistically and originally made with the client in mind - you will not be disappointed!!

    Kristen Morgan of LanierStar Photography was awesome! Choosing a unique photographer for my wedding was very important to me and after seeing Kristen's work online - I knew exactly who I wanted to photograph our wedding! I did not want the usual posed wedding photos - I wanted a lot of candids and photographs that everyone else did not have...and that's exactly what I got with LanierStar! She was there while we were getting ready and stayed until my husband and I left the reception in a tunnel of sparklers! I could not be any happier with our photos! I know once Matt and I have children, I will be tempted to travel to Orange Park for Kristen to take their pictures also! Thank you so much for such beautiful art!

    Lanierstar Photography has been photographing my family since the day it started. Kristen was there on our wedding day to capture precious moments, and also there to capture moments of my pregnancy and children. We LOVE LANIERSTAR!

    We loved working with Kristen for our engagement and wedding photos! She was wonderful and full of laughter during our engagement session and I didn't even notice her at the wedding unless she was directing the posed pictures. She got amazing candids throughout the entire evening - I would say candids are her strength. The posed pictures weren't some of my favorites, but there are still some very good shots and plenty to choose from from those. I want ALL of the candids! It's going to be tough to pick and choose from those for an album. :) We also had her Giggle Box photo booth, which is so cool and easy! Not the traditional tiny photo booth, but so easy to operate. I would note to bride's wanting a photo booth to put it somewhere prominent where your guests will remember to use it!!! Kristen, thank you so much for capturing our beautiful day!

    Kristen at LanierStar was a dream to work with! She made me feel comfortable from the first phone conversation. Kristen and Stefan were a joy to be around and made the experience so easy for us. We wanted to take photographs in a separate location from our venue and they were so accommodating. You could tell Kristen wanted to make sure this was the perfect day for us. At the reception you couldn't even tell they were there, but I know they captured all of the fun moments. I can't wait to see our portraits and would highly recommend LanierStar!

    Kristen is the most amazing photographer. She is extremely professional and also a joy to be around which is key on your wedding day. Her laugh made everyone smile. I could not have asked for better photos.

    Kristen was an absolute joy to work with through our engagement photo session as well as at our wedding. She has fun interacting with you and makes you want to smile naturally through her contagious laughter. She is very professional, always on time and prepared. She is very responsive and helpful with any little question through both e-mail and phone contact. My husband and I chose her because of her unique photography style, and I highly recommend looking through her website and archives to see if it is a style you would like. We loved our engagement photos, and we're eagerly awaiting the wedding shots!

    I gave her a 4.5 for value and flexibility only because she charges more than other photographers because of the value of her work. I am totally okay with paying more if the quality of the product is clearly higher. Also, because of her popularity, her schedule seemed to book up quickly! Kristen really is an impeccable professional that you will enjoy photographing your special day.

    LanierStar represents a true value in North Florida photography. If you want jaw dropping photos from a competent and enthusiastic professional than look no further.

    Kristen is full of laughter and very fun to be around, but don't let that fool you, she's always shooting. Even if you think you're just goofing off she's secretly snapping photos that will make your wedding shine for years to come.

    Bottom line: if we could do it over we would choose LanierStar again with no hesitation.

    She delivered on what we wanted for our wedding and portrait photographs. Most accommodating and fun to work with. She was very reassuring and helpful specially with a wedding date on the beach in FL during hurricane season! We were glad we found her! We highly recommend her and her fantastic services!

    Great value for the money and definitely comparable with photographers charging $5k+. My only complaint is related to communication. Some emails are responded to within hours and others have taken a week. Kristen (owner) is wonderful. During the wedding, everyone commented on how they could barely tell she was there, yet she was able to get so many wonderful shots! Kristen has a great personality and is also super fun to be around. I would love to work with her in the future for things like family photos, greeting cards, etc. Speaking of which, our thank you cards that she had made were a hit! Absolutely gorgeous, great quality paper, and a great turnaround time. The CD of photos also came in a wonderful case that is heirloom quality - it's so pretty, we have it on display on our office bookcase =) We had a 12x12 album for us (included in package) and ordered a second 10x10 for my parents. Both turned out beautiful.

    All things considered, Kristen is very kind and a genuine pleasure to be around. She's super easy to work with and makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera. If you choose Lanier Star for your engagement, wedding, or other photography needs, you will not be disappointed! :)

    LanierStar was excellent. I would use her again. My wedding pictures are so glamorous. She gave us a variety to pick from- different posses and black and white photos.

    We were so pleased with our wedding and engagement photos. Kristen was wonderful to work with - fun, upbeat, professional and kept us laughing and relaxed the whole time. Kristen has the ability to capture vivid, special moments in her photography through her unique style. She most definitely met our expectations and we'll enjoy the beautiful photo memories for years to come. We would highly recommend her to others.
