  Just The Melody can do it all!

  Choosing Just the Melody Band was hands down the best decision we made for the entire wedding! Melody and Edvin (and the whole band!) are so talented, not to mention so versatile! My fiance and his family are from Mexico and my family is from the US, so we wanted to be able to dance to US wedding classics and early 2000s throwbacks as well as Latin pop, Shakira, and lots of traditional Mexican music and cumbia! We went into our vendor search having no expectation that we’d find a band that could do ALL of that — but we lucked out finding Just the Melody! They can do it all, and SO well! Our wedding guests were on the dance floor until 1am! They also learned our first dance song for us and performed it almost better than the original :) Above all, they were so kind and accommodating and fun to work with and they cared so much about making sure the evening went exactly how we wanted it to go. We cannot recommend this incredible band enough!

  An Absolute Dream

  From the moment we reached out to JustTheMelodyBand, Melody and Edwin were the best! They were easy to reach, really listened to our requests, and made it a point to completely customize our BIG day. Our Italian and Cuban families were beyond pleased with the talent and musical choices played and sung live at our event. Edvin was a wonderful MC and hype man AND really connected with our guests, Melody's vocals were out of this world, Ronny blew the crowd away in his Italian performance, and DJ Cory knew exactly what to play to keep the crowd going. The musicians in the band were friendly, fun, and super professional! Last minute, we requested a 360 degree PhotoBooth and a keys player, and they delivered! Justin and I definitely made the right choice in hiring them, and we can't help but talk about the next event when we'd possibly need a band and DJ Hybrid package. We already know who we are going with!

  Amazing Musical Experience

  When looking for a band for a multicultural wedding, we knew they had to be special. Just the Melody was the first band we reached out to and it was clear from the onset that we didn’t have to look any further because we knew they were the ones. Throughout the entire experience, Melody and Edvin were an absolute dream to work with. They were incredibly responsive and took the planning process seriously while also keeping it fun. We were able to have multiple planning meetings where they clearly listened to our vision and more specifically the energy we were hoping to bring to the entire evening.
  
  Our wedding included multiple different musical moments that Just the Melody was able to provide with aplomb. The ceremony was romantic instrumental music that transitioned to modern pop instrumentals during the first half of the cocktail hour. Then a Mariachi band took over the second half of the cocktail hour with Melody providing gorgeous vocals for a few songs before the 12-piece band took over the magic for the rest of the night. The band with Edvin as MC matched the energy of our guests the entire night in a way we never expected.
  
  After our first dance, a beautiful rendition of Luis Miguel’s”Por Debajo De La Mesa”, the band moved right into a wondrous lineup of Latin music including Cumbia, Bachata, and Salsa that got our guests up and on their feet. From that point forward the dancing was nonstop with both American and Latin music filling the air. They also helped us celebrate the joining of our Jewish and Latino cultures by playing the Hora followed by La Vibora De La Mar. Edvin and Melody worked well with our venue to time our fathers’ speeches when our guests paused for a moment to eat and they were thoughtful with the tempo of the night by pairing this with our father/bride and mother/groom dances. After dinner they brought the energy right back up and we even got to see some of Edvin’s unreal dance moves when the 90s/2000s pop music started up. We could absolutely not believe it when they allowed us to come on stage and belt out one of our favorite songs (Jimmy Eat World’s “The Middle”). It was a living dream (especially for the bride).
  
  We cannot say enough how much both of us and all of our guests absolutely adored Just the Melody. We have been told multiple times by our guests that they didn't expect to go to a concert along with our wedding and that they loved every minute of it. And we did too. The music the entire evening was exceptional and better than anything we could have come up with in our wildest dreams for the evening. Thank you Melody, Edvin and the entire Just the Melody crew - we could not have chosen better for our wedding!!

  Month later...Our guests are still talking about LTL!

  Edvin and the LTL team are amazing! They really made our wedding reception so much fun! We're still getting compliments from our guests about how much they loved the music and performances! Edvin was a great MC, he made sure to get everyone up for our entrance and kept the dance floor moving the whole time! Melody has a voice that is just out of this world. Ronnie was amazing and did a beautiful version of Con te partirò to top off our Italian themed wedding! Chris and Shaun brought so much energy, dance moves and their amazing voices. Our saxophone player really added an extra layer to the entertainment. Edvin was so great in the planning process and answered all of our questions. He was always happy to jump on a call. We'd highly recommend LTL and are now fans for life!

  Such energetic performers!

  I attended a wedding where LTL hosted and had so much fun! They played lots of throwback music and even had some follow along choreography...that was my favorite part.

  Nelson is amazing!

  My husband and I are so glad we booked with Larger Than Life! Nelson and his crew did an amazing job keeping our guests on the dance floor, and they were so accommodating with our hectic timeline. All of our guests were raving about them, and asking for their info!

  Edvin was FANTASTIC. I have no words for how amazing they made my wedding. I’ve been hearing nothing but how great the music was (especially for a noon wedding). I would hire larger than life again a million times over

  Incredible talent!

  We used Larger Than Life as our wedding DJ, and we were absolutely blown away. Sometimes it's hard to choose between a DJ or live band, but with Edvin and his group you get the best of both worlds! They had our guests up and dancing the entire night. Their positive energy really made our reception a fun time for everyone, and their performances were absolutely amazing! Hiring Larger Than Life was one of the best decisions we made -- we wholeheartedly recommend them for any event!

  Loved celebrating with Larger than Life!

  We attended my aunt’s wedding and Larger than Life was the entertainment. Wow! They brought the party to life with the music and dancing. They had EVERYONE on the dance floor including my great grandma. Excellent entertainment

  Awesome Experience!

  This company recently did my sisters wedding! I heard they were doing a little boy band thing in it so I was skeptical at first, but it turned out to be pretty awesome! The ladies loved the boy band show they added, and the company had my family dancing the whole time...and my family are not dancers... Definitely recommend them!

  High Energy, Engaging, & Fun for all ages

  I’ve seen LTL shows for years but was SO excited to see them at my cousin’s wedding!

  90s themed reception was a BLAST

  After a rainy day and the usual wedding day chaos, the Larger than Life 90s boyband made the reception a fun way to end the most special day! The 4 guys were so nice, they included all ages into the party and they were very professional. 5 STAR RATING

  This was one of the most fun Weddings I have ever been too! These guys kept the energy up, they knew when to slow things down, and they just kept the party ongoing! They had the typical DJ stuff but then on top of it had great, personable, Singers that were singing fun exciting stuff! Typically I am not a huge fan of weddings, but this was one I would go to again and again!

You are by far the best DJ's around. My supervisor and I came in a few lovely email that are a testimony to a job well done!!! Not many DJ’s can entertain children from K – 12th grade all at the same time. We also run summer camps for our residence and all of our director want us to hire Edvin and his co-workers for our annual DJ & BBQ day this summer. There aren't enough words to describe the amazing job these guys do!!!! They are absolutely superb!!! I look forward to hiring them for all of our events year round.

  When given a DIY wedding and a small space to turn into a once in a lifetime reception, I can't imagine how edvin felt haha! Me and my wife decided to do a DIY at a rented lake house. Edvin came in and put me at such ease with his ideas on how we should structure the wedding. He timed our procession perfectly, he interacted with the crowd and played the music to appease the crowd. We have not stopped hearing about our wedding and the highlight was the DJ. He came out a danced with the crowd, and gave our wedding just the touch it needed!!! Our thanks to you. Everything was perfectly balanced between professional and entertainer! Thank you for making our wedding unforgettable.

  Larger Than Life is FABULOUS! They are a high energy, super talented group of gentleman who WILL get your party going!

  We had the pleasure of LTL perform at our wedding. We, along with our entire family and friends, had an amazing time and a lot of that credit was due to Edvin the boys and the band. It was great having a live performance with a full band and then also have Edvin DJ the rest of the night.
