  Amanda was so sweet and easy to work with. She gave me great options, everything could be customized to meet my needs and price. The flowers were stunning. 100% recommend!

  I worked with Amanda for the flowers for my wedding. I had a specific vision, and I knew that the DIY approach was exactly what I was looking for. One of the highlights of the whole experience was creating the arrangements, bouquets, boutonnieres, etc. with my maid of honor, mother, and mother-in-law. Amazingly beautiful flowers, and Amanda was GREAT to work with! Just what I wanted!

  I cannot say enough good things about Kate and her team. She was helpful and gave me so much information on flowers and what would be in season, etc. Kate also made the most beautiful flower crowns for my bridesmaids, and all the girls were ecstatic! My bouquet was gorgeous and the flowers were the perfect touch for our wedding! Thank you, Kate!

  I worked with Kate to develop the floral plan for my June wedding. She did three boutonnieres, three flower crowns, a dog collar, my bouquet, flowers for the cakes, and bulk flowers and vines for the tables. I felt really confident in Kate's skills and professionalism throughout the planning process. We shared ideas with each other via Pinterest and ultimately came up with exactly what I was hoping for. My bouquet was absolutely stunning and the flower girls glowed in their halos! I came to the farm the day before the wedding to pick the blooms for my bouquet with my mother-in-law and best friend, picked up the bulk flowers to start the arrangements on our own, and Kate delivered everything else the morning of the wedding to the site. She worked with my budget and my vision and I was so happy with the end product. Thank you!

  We only have the best things to say about Kate Sparks and the team at Laughing Lady Flower Farm! When told friends and family that we wanted to DIY the flowers for our wedding they all thought we were nuts. Where will you store them? How will you transport them? Kate solved both of those problems for us. We bought bulk flowers and greens from her farm and then brought our own vases to her studio to arrange them. She helped us create 39 centerpieces, three boutonnieres, one bridal bouquet, and four small bridal party bouquets - all in about 3 hours. Then she refrigerated them overnight and delivered them to our venue the next day. Everything came out amazing.
  
  Kate was helpful, friendly, and responsive throughout the planning process, and was able to show me photos of what flowers the farm would have to offer during the month of our wedding, even though it was more than six months before.
  
  If you're thinking about doing your wedding flowers yourself but can't quite figure out how you'll arrange so many centerpieces in your apartment - let alone preserve and transport them - definitely consider Laughing Lady Flower Farm!

  Lilies and Lavendar is an absolutely fantastic source for flowers! The flowers we got for our wedding were stunning and the price was very affordable. The DIY option is great and Kate is very willing to adjust the flower selections. I had requested some herbs for our arrangements and she provided some lovely and fragrant selections that really made the arrangements unique. I highly recommend her services for anyone looking for high quality, beautiful flowers.

  I could not speak more highly of Lilies & Lavender. My husband and I are so glad that we made Kate a part of our wedding day. When I arrived to pick up my flowers two days before my wedding, I was floored. I could not believe how beautiful my flowers were. I hadn't told Kate specific flowers- I basically told her the general themes and colors of my wedding, and she nailed it. Her flowers are really what made my wedding day that much more special. I received so many compliments on my flowers, and it's all thanks to Kate. You will not be disappointed. Kate was such a joy to work with, and it's obvious her passion in her work.   Kate was absolutely terrific to work with. I found her because I really wanted to support a sustainable and local flower business, and I could not be happier with my decision. We met about six months before the wedding to talk about ideas and what kind of style/ theme/ flowers I was looking for. Kate walked me through the flowers that were in season and took notes on what I liked. She even sent me a Pinterest board with her ideas for flowers and styles, which I could then comment on so we could get on the same page.
  
  The pricing was flexible and accommodating for all budgets. You can choose to have Kate arrange the centerpieces/bouquets, or simply order buckets of flowers that you arrange yourself, or some combination of the two. I really appreciated this flexibility, which made it possible to work with amazingly fresh, in-season flowers, which also staying within my budget.
  
  When I showed up a couple days before the wedding to pick up the flowers, I was absolutely blown away. Kate did an amazing job arranging the bouquets and making the boutonniere and picking exactly the kind of flowers that matched the feel I wanted. I could not have been more thrilled. I can't recommend Kate more highly -- both for her warm, down-to-earth personality; her business model; and of course the amazing flowers that she grows and arranges.

My wedding flowers were stunning!!! The church & reception flowers & the bouquets were so exquisite... she brought my vision to life...above and beyond what I could have hopped for.   I did my flowers myself but I wanted to purchase them from someone who used sustainable practices in our area (we live in Philadelphia). I stumbled upon Kate and her farm in Doylestown, called Lilies and Lavender. I bought 3 buckets of fresh spring flowers (I got married in early May) and pots of herbs. They are all so beautiful! I also ordered my bouteneers from Kate, and the flowergirl petals. Everything was so fresh and perfect. I put the flowers in old bottles and mason jars and got so many complements. Kate will deliver for a fee (we did the delivery since it takes us over an hour to get out to Doylestown). She does the Rittenhouse Farmers Market on Saturdays as well. I would highly recommend her if you are looking to purchase flowers that were grown with love and organic fertilizers.

  I highly recommend Lilles and Lavender for flowers for any event.   If you are a bride who lives in or around Doylestown, I suggest you call Kate Sparks (owner of Lilies and Lavender) immediately - it will be one of the best decisions you made.
  
  My husband and I were trying to work within a set budget for our wedding and originally planned to go the wholesale flower route until we realized (3 months before the wedding) it would be too much work. I frantically started researching florists and found Lilies and Lavender online. Kate grows all of her flowers herself and although I assumed she would be way out of our price range, I emailed her.
  
  Kate not only got back to me the same day (telltale sign of a great wedding vendor) but also sent me an estimate in my budget that day too, which included arranging flowers in 300+ bottles, making 7 bouquets, all of the boutioneers, corsages, and delivering everything to the venue that was 90 mins away. The end result was an amazing variety of ALL the flowers we wanted in the most perfect colors and way beyond our expectations.
  
  Kate goes above and beyond for the people she works with. She is great at listening and has great ideas too. Some examples of what sets Kate apart is she started growing flowers in our colors and did the same for other weddings, and she met with me several times to see her gardens and pick out all of the flowers, leaves, fillers, etc. for the big day. She even traded her famous lilies with another florist for some peonies so I could have them in my bouquet.
  
  The flowers at our wedding were beyond top notch and we got tons of compliments on them. Our wedding was even featured on stylemepretty.com and her flowers were the most popular pics in the feature (meaning the most pinned).
  
  I cannot recommend Lilies and Lavender enough and I'm so glad we had the chance to work with Kate!

  As part of our local-eco-farm wedding, we wanted to find a flower farm in the area to provide our flowers. My friend was actually doing the arrangement, so all we really needed was loose flowers and lilies and lavender had the most amazing value for this! Since we were using a farm we knew to expect the unexpected, but when some of the flowers we ordered had not bloomed yet by our wedding date, Kate was extremely helpful in helping choose replacements at no additional cost. I didn't miss the unbloomed lisianthus at all, the flowers we ended up with were SO beautiful! If we have any future events we need flowers for, I will be sure to use this vendor - I'm just looking for an excuse to do so :)
