  A Perfect Collaborator

  Laura at Laurel Hill is phenomenal to work with. She totally got my vision for bouquets (nothing fussy, cream base with soft pinks and yellows, no greenery), and didn't bat an eye when I told her I wanted them to double as table centerpieces. I can't name flowers to save my life, but she was able to translate my crazy mumblings ("you know, like those tall stalk ones with pink buds going up them? kind of floppy petals?") and pinterest board into beautiful decor that was perfect for my chill outdoor ceremony. If you're getting married in greater Boston, count on Laura to nail it for you (and keep your costs reasonable)!

  Laura did an incredible job with the florals and centerpieces at my wedding. I had a bridal bouquet, 7 bridesmaid bouquets, 11 boutonnieres, 5 corsages, 27 centerpieces, and a few additional decorative arrangements in addition to florals on our wedding cake. Every single piece was perfect - as if she spent hours organizing each and every flower in the perfect direction and pattern. The volume had no effect on her quality of work. The biggest compliment I received is three fellow soon-to-be brides ask me for my florist’s contact information to use for their weddings! The bouquets were amazing – more beautiful than anything I had pinned to my wedding board on Pinterest – a board that Laura spent hours going through with me to get a feel for what I was planning and the overall look/ theme of my wedding. She had great suggestions that not only saved on cost, but were the perfect touch. She even accommodated a couple of last minute requests with regards to our sweetheart table and florals on our wedding cake. Laura’s experience and knowledge are really an asset when brainstorming and budgeting. Laurel Hill Floral Design was the perfect finishing touch to my wedding and I highly recommend the talented and professional Laura!

  To say Laura exceeded my expectations would be an understatement. I need to give a little background though. Some women have always known they wanted their wedding decked out with blue hydrangeas and white calla lilies. I am not one of those women. I'm clueless about flowers, but I was also very flexible. However, our budget was modest by Boston standards. We were hoping to spend around $2,000-$2,300 for a ceremony and reception with about 100 people.
  
  The two florists I contacted before meeting Laura were... well, unhelpful. The first responded to my request for a quote with a terse call warning me that she didn't take any jobs under $5,000. Right. So, the second was super nice and patiently listened to my ideas, and then leveled with me: Our budget would only get us a bridal bouquet and tiny centerpieces, don't expect anything to look like Pinterest, and she would be unable to accommodate most of our colors (jewel tones) due to seasonal availability.
  
  A friend recommended Laura, who blew me away from the start -- beginning with the fact that she was willing to drive to Quincy to make the meeting more convenient for me. Laura had absolutely no problem working within our budget, she was ridiculously responsive and flexible, and the results were BREATHTAKING. She found creative ways to work in some of those "difficult" colors like gold and teal. I was speechless when she delivered the bouquets as I was getting ready with my bridesmaids. They looked way more awesome than the so-called "unrealistic" Pinterest pins. And honestly, I swear more guests took photos of our flowers and centerpieces than of my husband and me.. lol. Nothing about this looked like a "budget" job, and I felt we got way more than our money's worth.
  
  Laura is a highly talented and professional florist who goes above and beyond. Please don't hesitate to book her!

  I adore Laura! She went above and beyond for my wedding. She was so easy to work with and great with suggestions. I'd seen examples of her previous work so I knew how talented she is, but the final product completely blew me away! I've gotten so many compliments on the arrangements and bouquets, and I cannot recommend her enough. Use her - you won't be disappointed!

  We adore Laura! She took my inspiration photos, a hodge podge of our collected milkglass, and very little direction and created truly gorgeous arrangements, bouquets, and boutonnieres. As a vendor she is very professional, responsive, flexible, and approachable. So many of our guests commented on the beautiful flowers and I have seen many photos of the centerpieces on guests' Facebook feeds! She is a true talent and lovely person. I strongly recommend her for any special event!

  I loved working with Laurel Hill Floral for my Boston wedding! We originally met with Laura several months in advance to detail out our floral visions for our wedding. I was so impressed with her, I recommended her to my bridesmaids for my bridal shower. I got to experience her creativity first hand at my bridal shower, where she put beautiful roses in white teapots for “Tea with the Bride to be” theme. My bridal shower centerpieces dried beautifully inside the teapots. I even recommended her to a friend that got married a month before me up in Maine. Laura made the trip and put together gorgeous arrangements for this rustic lighthouse wedding.
  
  After seeing her work at two different events I recommended her for, I was dying to see what my wedding flowers would look like. We met one last time to finalize my visions for my wedding flowers about a month before the wedding. My wedding was at the New England aquarium, which has flower restrictions due to the aquarium inhabitants and Laura did an amazing job following their guidelines and restrictions. Laura created exquisite arrangements for my wedding day. Beautiful bridal bouquets with hydrangeas and roses, long lasting coral rose boutonnieres, matching bridesmaids bouquets, coral rose petals for my ceremony, fantastic corsages for my mothers and grandmothers, and gorgeous aquatic centerpieces that captured the unique venue. Inside the aquarium she had underwater flowers with LED lights for the dark space, and outside in the tent were nautical arrangements with Beachwood. People were fighting over taking home centerpieces! My descriptions do not do her work justice. Her work with these three different events was consistently beautiful. Her attention to detail is impeccable and the results were beautiful. Not to mention, the flowers lived so long after the event, we were able to enjoy them still weeks after my honeymoon. We highly recommend Laurel Hill Floral!

  Laura was very kind and gave me all of the information that I needed in order to have a great event! She answered all of my questions and was free to answer emails or chat by phone whenever I needed to. She went above and beyond to help me throw the perfect even.

  Laura did an oustanding job of providing the flowers and containers for my granddaughter's wedding. She perfectly matched the colors we wanted to pick up, the theme of the wedding and everyone complimented on how great the flowers were both in the church and at the wedding reception.

  Laura did a fabulous job of creating a the floral arrangements, containers and other matching decor to pick up the theme of the shower. The flowers were beautifully arranged in a variety of containers that were perfect for the event and took the unsolicited step to include some books and other objects to enhance the theme of the event. She did a wonderful job.

I was a bit of a nervous bride and she made me feel at ease the entire time. She offered to meet with me to discuss what I was looking for before and showed me some examples of what she's done previousely. I wasn't too sure what I wanted so I let her decided knowing that she knew what she was doing and I'm so happy I did. The flowers looked better than I ever thought.

The table settings were fresh, fun, and gorgeous. My bridesmaids each carried unique, beautiful wildflowers wrapped in ribbon that perfectly matched their dresses. And oh my, my flowers! There is only one word to properly describe my bouquet: masterpiece! Laura even incorporated an antique key into the hold to match part of my theme. When people look at my wedding photos my bouquet is one of the first details they notice and compliment.

I know nothing about flowers, and she happily spent time with me discussing the possibilities for my wedding. She diligently picked out options that were readily available, in season, within my budget, and would fit the look and feel of our celebration.
  
  Not only is Laura knowledgeable about flowers, she is so talented in arranging! I had very simple bouquets of calla lilies and a few decorative grasses and they turned out so elegant. Hydrangea are a favorite of mine, so she put together gorgeous hydrangea/rose centerpieces that fit perfectly with the rest of my decor. I had a lot of very positive comments about my flowers and I think they put just the perfect touch on the whole day. We ended up giving away centerpieces and people were actually arguing over them!
