Marais Sent on 10/17/2017We were absolutely over the moon with Laurel, from our first communication to receiving our photos. We hired her for engagement photos at our house, photos of the rehearsal dinner, and ten hours for our wedding day. She is a total sweetheart to be around, which is exactly what you want during such special moments. For our wedding day, she brought along an assistant Rachel who was also lovely to be around. That in itself was huge, but my god, the photos. Laurel's photos are for real absolutely amazing. We keep joking that we are so overwhelmed because now we have 500 favorite wedding photos. She listened to what we asked for and followed our list of photos expertly. She gave posing advice when it was needed, which was SO helpful after hours of taking photos, but she would also go along with ideas and suggestions we gave. She was AMAZING and we were so happy she was a part of our special day.

She was kind, professional, and very easy to work with, and her beautiful images were just what we wanted: mostly photojournalist style plus family and wedding party formals. She did a great job of finding gorgeous outdoor shots on a rainy day in late fall and suggesting special photo moments that we could fit in during "downtime" before and after the ceremony. Even better, she was very responsive throughout the hiring process and the actual event, including to our requests for specific shots, and also flexible enough to accommodate last minute schedule changes - including a surprise fireworks display that (I think) extended a bit beyond our original contract. My only suggestion is that the family photo list be reorganized to minimize the number of character changes between shots - but she was very quick and flexible during the formals nonetheless. Overall, we were extremely happy with Laurel's service and would highly recommend her for any upper Midwest wedding! -

Laurel was a good listener and very accommodating. She kept us informed at each step of the way and used slick online tools for payments and sharing the pictures. She provides an online photo album that is easy to share and download as you need. I highly recommend Laurel.

User1720155 Sent on 07/18/2014Laurel was great to work with! She was very professional, yet made us feel relaxed. I was nervous about how I should look/pose, but she helped my fiance and me feel confident and comfortable the whole time.
Our photos turned out great. I especially appreciated the variety of shots she got. Instead of just the same pose from 10 different angles, she was very creative to get different poses/looks and I especially loved the natural shots when we were just relaxed and laughing. Overall it was a great experience. -

Holly Sent on 07/14/2014My favorite thing about Laurel Lee Photography is that Laurel is so easy and fun to work with. I have had her take our engagement photos and family photos and don't want to go to anyone else. The photo shoot is always so simple but fun and the pictures always turn out way better than I imagine, she is truly talented and I wouldn't recommend anyone else, we love her! -
User2348162 Sent on 10/03/2015As you may or may not know, it can be very awkward trying to have an intimate engagement or wedding shoot. However, Laurel made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera. She is very professional and sweet.
I loved that our engagement photos were included in the total coast of the package. It gave us a chance to meet her and discuss what we want the day of, along with us ending the day with BEAUTIFUL photos for our invites.
I was overall very pleased and happy I have amazing photos to keep forever.
Very good investment.
