  Incredible!

  Lauren went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of and to make the experience enjoyable for my husband and I! We found the engagement session helpful to get to know her and become more comfortable in front of the camera. Her eye is spot on and her team was fun to work with throughout an extremely long day. The sneak peeks we received were stunning and we are excited to see the rest. She was able to capture emotions and the small moments most other people wouldn’t notice. We had the dream team on our wedding day!

  Lauren is a gem! I cannot say enough wonderful things about her as a person and as a photographer. Her work is breathtaking and she is a joy to work with! She gives great direction and has a calming presence about her that made us feel comfortable right away. She shot our engagement photos, my bridals, and her team did our wedding, and we are blown away with our collection of priceless memories she captured! Thank you, Lauren!!!

  Best photographer! OBSESSED with my wedding photos!

  Lauren is such an amazing person and photographer! I agree with an earlier review that she is so energetic and welcoming and has that "never met a stranger" personality! My husband and I are from NYC and decided to have a destination wedding in Charleston, so we flew her to NYC for our engagement photos so that we can meet her before the wedding day. It was like meeting an old friend and she made sure to make us feel comfortable in front of the camera. She is a natural with candid photos and making sure to capture those special moments. She was also absolutely amazing to work with when I postponed my wedding due to COVID and was one of my most understanding vendors. My bridesmaids and family loved working with her during the wedding day and I'm OBSESSED with my wedding photos!

  Amazing amazing experience

  We are SO grateful for Lauren and her amazing work. We threw together a last minute intimate ceremony due to one of our parents becoming ill. Lauren and her assistant were so flexible and kept a smile on their face the whole time even while it rained. They were both so fun to have around for the day. And then there were the pictures..... I can't even fully express our happiness with the sneak peak pictures we've received. The pictures perfectly captured the emotions and love that filled our day. The fact that my sweet *new* husband has gone out of his way to tell me 4 separate times, "wow.. those pictures are just so good", really speak volumes to Lauren's talent.

  Amazing photographer

  Lauren was much more than our wedding photographer. When our wedding venue informed us they were closing and moving us to a new location she extended an offer to scout the new venue with me. Having her by my side while doing the walkthrough was extremely helpful. We were able to discuss light options and she even gave me inspiration ideas such as lighting my aisle with candles (which we ended up doing and it looked beautiful). During the wedding day both my husband and I felt like we were rockstars and the most beautiful people on earth. Her and her assistant knew exactly what to say to capture those perfect moments of laughter and love while making us feel so special. I would highly recommend Lauren to anyone. She’s truly the girl next door and makes you feel as though you’re her best friend and you’ve known each other for years.

  So genuine & amazingly talented!

  Lauren is an absolute dream! She is so energetic and welcoming and has one of those amazing "never met a stranger" personalities! She makes the whole process comfortable and fun and genuinely wants to capture the most special moments of your day. She has such a talent for natural light and candid moments which made for the most beautiful wedding photos we could ever wish for. She has such a passion for her art and we are so grateful we could share in her gift on our wedding day!

  Lauren is wonderful and so talented! We could not ask for a better photographer to capture our engagement photos, bridal portaits and wedding day.   When planning our intimate Charleston wedding, we knew that finding the perfect photographer was high on our priority list. I've seen the work of many, many local photographers, all very talented, but knew Lauren was the one for us. I know that so many engaged couples browse expeditiously online, jumping from one photographer’s website to the next, simply focusing on photos that attract them, budget, etc. For me, my picking process went way beyond the work itself. It was extremely important for us that we hired a photographer who was not only talented, but someone we felt comfortable with, has a personality that suits our demeanor and someone who can roll with the punches and doesn’t let the stress of the day affect their process. Lauren surpassed all of these requirements and then some. We received our sneak peek just days after the wedding which was refreshing to see considering your wedding day flies by. We anxiously awaited the day that our full gallery was delivered by e-mail and when browsing through the photos, it brought back all of the emotions of our wedding day. We cannot thank her enough for being a crucial part of our most memorable day. We feel so, so lucky to have called her 'ours' for that one day. <3

  Let me start off by saying that I am obnoxiously picky about things like photos. I researched Charleston-area photographers for hours before finding Lauren. Her taste level was immediately evident in her portfolio, and I knew that she was someone we could trust with our wedding photos.
  
  Lauren did not disappoint. She is a first-rate photographer and a first-rate human being in general. She did our engagement shoot in NYC (where we live) and our wedding in Charleston, SC. For our engagement shoot, we had a couple ideas of where we wanted to go, and Lauren covered those and several more that she had researched on her own. I still can't believe we covered as much ground as we did, and we have an awesome variety of photos to show for it.
  
  As for our wedding, we got married during Hurricane Joaquin with record-setting flooding in and around Charleston. As if a wedding weekend isn't already stressful enough, our venues canceled on us on the day of. Lauren had driven down from NC for our wedding and had borrowed her mom's rain boots so that she would be prepared to walk across the bridge (which the police had shut down to vehicles) to the peninsula in order to reach us if she had to. We're talking several miles! She is that committed. When we decided to move everything to James Island, Lauren ended up finding a plantation near our new, impromptu venue to use as a backdrop. The photos are dreamier than I could have ever hoped for, hurricane or no hurricane, and she even finished editing them earlier than expected. On top of it all, she even offered us a complimentary portrait shoot on a later date (since we weren't able to take photos downtown because of the flooding).
  
  Lauren was a true professional throughout the whole experience (as was her second shooter), and I deeply appreciated her calm, focused, can-do attitude throughout that stressful day. Out of all the wonderful vendors that we hired for our wedding, Lauren is the one I am most thrilled with.

  Best decision I made for my wedding! She worked with me from the very beginning. She took the time to explain her services to me, was flexible about time and even met with me when I was in town to discuss our day.   Lauren was wonderful to work with! I do not live in South Carolina so I had to pick all of my vendors via Skype and email. She was very flexible when scheduling meeting times and creating a package that fit our needs.
  On the day of the wedding she arrived on time and was a pleasure to be around all day. Lauren and her assistant David Strauss helped us find a perfect location for pictures when the original plan fell through.
  Lauren also came back a few days later to do a Trash the Dress session which was a blast!
  She got our online gallery setup quickly and we received the USB drive with the originals within the next week.
  I would highly recommend Lauren to any bride!

  Lauren was wonderful to work with! I do not live in South Carolina so I had to pick all of my vendors via Skype and email. She was very flexible when scheduling meeting times and creating a package that fit our needs.
  On the day of the wedding she arrived on time and was a pleasure to be around all day. Lauren and her assistant David Strauss helped us find a perfect location for pictures when the original plan fell through.
  Lauren also came back a few days later to do a Trash the Dress session which was a blast!
  She got our online gallery setup quickly and we received the USB drive with the originals within the next week.
  I would highly recommend Lauren to any bride!

  We couldn’t have picked a more perfect photographer to capture our wedding day! We loved Lauren’s work immediately after viewing her portfolio. Meeting her sealed the deal—not only is she incredibly talented, she’s also kind, funny, and a pleasure to work with. She was easy to get in touch with via phone, email and Skype—which was a huge plus as we’re in two different cities. She listened to our ideas and provided expert advice throughout the planning process. Lauren and her assistant were a dream to work with on the day of—they arrived early, fit in beautifully with our family and friends, and worked seamlessly with our vendors. They made us feel so comfortable during our posed photos and even made the big family photos a ton of fun. They were there to capture every important moment and more, going above beyond to do a post-wedding shoot with us as well. Lauren sent us a sneak peak just a few days after the wedding—we were blown away by the photos. We’re not sure how she did it, but she made us look so good!   Words can't describe how great Lauren was!!! The wedding photos turned out better than I ever could have expected!!! She was extremely professional and she made it fun. We got the photos back within a few weeks, each photo is in color and black and white. I honestly couldn't be any happier! I would highly recommend her!!!

  Lauren was absolutely amazzzzzing! I was an out of town bride doing all my research for vendors online and stumbled upon this wonderful gem. She is extremely responsive, professional, and sweet as pie! The package I selected came with a 2nd shooter who I absolutely adored as well. They made us feel so comfortable. Truly made us laugh and smile all day long. I would recommend her over and over again to any bride who wants top notch service and a vendor that you don’t have to stress over.

We have not yet received our photos as our wedding was just last week (we are so excited to get them!), but I had to go ahead and give Lauren a glowing review!
