  I absolutely loved Lavandula Strings at my friend's wedding. They sounded amazing, looked incredibly professional, and the bride told me that they were very responsive. She gave me their business card, and I will definitely keep them in mind for upcoming weddings.

  Highlight of the day!

  We hired Lavandula to play an hour of classical music for an outdoors celebration for our professional team back in the early fall. We were mostly expecting just the standard fare, background type of stuff, but as soon as they started to play, everyone stopped to listen and were so mesmerized by their beautiful playing and poise. It almost felt like we were in a concert hall being treated to a private performance. It truly elevated the gathering, and we received so many compliments for finding them afterwards! We're definitely keeping them in mind for our next get-together! Time and money well spent, and Joy was such a pleasure to work with

  Your wedding will be extra special with Lavandula Strings.

  I truly appreciate this group who beautifully decorated my best friend's special moments in her life!
  
  As a professional musician, it was extremely challenging to choose a music ensemble group for my friend's wedding. This is because most players did not meet my expectations and it was extremely difficult to find good players based on the experience and knowledge gained by participating in various life events such as weddings, engagements, anniversaries, and funerals myself since 2000.
  
  Most singers were vulnerable to outdoor events, and the woodwind quintet was unique but hard to hear and lack of impact. String trio (violin, cellos, and piano) often had to deal with a bad piano/keyboard condition.
  Brass quartet or quintet were fun to listen to but did not fit in well depending on the circumstances.
  
  After deep consideration and gathering lots of recommendations, I requested Lavandula Strings for my best friend's life event, and their performance and attitude toward the event exceeded my expectations.

  2. Founder Joy's wonderful communication skills
  3. A diverse and broad repertoire ranging from classical music to jazz and pop
  4. Empathy and warm attitude toward an event
  5. Great responsibility and perfectionism
  
  My friends and her family still talk about how wonderful the music was at the wedding and how pleased the attendees were.
  
  I have already asked them for my brother's engagement again, and I will definitely request them for future events as well.

  Lavandula Strings exceeded our expectations and made our day so special! The entire process was so easy and straightforward. Their demeanor was professional yet friendly and the selections they played for the event sounded fantastic! A great mix of genres arranged beautifully!   We hired Lavandula Strings to play for our ceremony and cocktail hour and they were absolutely amazing! From the beginning, Joy was so easy to communicate with and answered all of our questions. We've never hired string musicians before so she walked us through the process and what to expect. During the ceremony, the quartet timed our songs perfectly and I can say with full confidence, there was not a single dry eye in the room. It felt so special to hear the strings as I walked down the aisle. During cocktail hour, the musicians played as we took photos outside. Our guests absolutely loved it and they enjoyed dancing to their music, especially the kids. We had the chance to speak with Joy and the other musicians afterwards and they were all lovely people and very accomplished. They all had graduate degrees and had performed all over the world as classical musicians - they had even performed at weddings for celebrities! It really made our ceremony special to have them share their talents with us on such an important day! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional musicians that go above and beyond!

  I had a wonderful experience with Lavandula Strings. I felt nervous about the prospect of having live musicians and almost backed out and relied on prerecorded music. Thankfully, I changed my mind and I am extremely happy that I chose to hire them for my processional, before people were seated and during the cocktail hour. They create personalized, dynamic arrangements and can play ANYTHING. The group never made me feel dumb or like a nuisance and they somehow made me a fan of a few songs I did not initially like on the radio but loved as their original string arrangements! I recommend them for their skill hands down - but moreover, I suggest working with them because they are kind, genuine people who love to share their craft. Joy was so understanding and did everything she could to make sure our wedding ran smoothly. She wrote out a personalized transcription of my wife's favorite song and kept up communication as our wedding approached in August. The wedding went seamlessly and we received so many compliments on the string quartet's playing. They were also genuinely kind people! I would highly recommend them to any couple looking for a great addition to their ceremony,

  Amazing and accommodating

  I knew I wanted to hire a classical group to perform at my wedding but I wasn't sure if I could afford it. Joy suggested a violin and cello duo to fit my budget and they were amazing! They performed the songs I requested with the perfect timing. They really made my day memorable and I would recommend them to anyone hoping to make their day special!
