  Fantastic Experience Start to Finish!

  I used Alx&Co to design my fiancée's engagement ring and I couldn't have asked for a better experience! They were extremely helpful throughout the entire process and really went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the end product and the fit. We're hoping to work with them again soon! Highly, highly, highly recommend Alx&Co for any of your upcoming wedding jewelry needs!

  Fantastic team, excellent service

  Tim and the team at Alx&Co have been fantastic in the three years we've known them. We had both of our wedding rings custom made here, after several excellent experiences having jewelry resized, refinished or serviced prior to our wedding. Tim's patience and dedication to creating a product that's a lifelong cherished item was fantastic. Top notch service, reasonable and transparent prices, quick turn-around and good communication. Can't ask for more. But there is more: A perfect dog named Bill to keep you company while work is done on your jewelry.

  Alexandria & Company is THE BEST

  Meaghan and the team at Alexandria & Company are absolutely, hands down, fantastic. Not only do they have phenomenal taste and make wonderful suggestions, they also listened and understood exactly what my partner and I were looking for in engagement bands. They are very communicative and upfront with expectations and pricing, genuinely interested in making our jewelry as beautiful as possible, and overall kind, accommodating, and welcoming. We have had only good experiences with them and highly recommend using their services for wedding jewelry. 10/10 recommend.

  Wonderful!

  My husband and I were looking for matching wedding bands with floral details we could both agree on to no avail. We reached out to Alexandria & Company and the team walked us thru the design process and custom casting process all via Zoom while we waited for the Covid lockdown to be lifted. We then visited the storefront (fully masked) and tried on different sample rings for sizes. Our rendered designs (custom casted with peonies) were beautiful and after a few weeks our actual rings came in. It’s been over a year since we postponed our wedding, eloped, and had our wedding again and we get stopped all the time by people complimenting our wedding bands!

  Perfect wedding bands

  We worked with Tim at Alx&Co to design our perfect wedding bands. My husband chose a simple gold band that came out exactly as he wanted it, and Tim made it easy to come get it resized when he discovered it was a tiny bit too big. I knew I wanted a half eternity diamond band but was worried about the edges of the diamonds scratching the setting of my engagement ring due to the way it was set. Tim was incredibly patient with me and ended up designing a custom ring that solved the problem at a much better price than a similar ring from another store. They clearly care about each piece that they create and I would not hesitate to go back for any jewelry needs we have in the future!

  Highly recommend Alx&Co for engagement ring

  I highly recommend working with Alx&Co to design wedding bands and custom jewelry based on multiple extremely positive experiences. I most recently worked with Tim, Meaghan and the Alx&Co team to design a custom engagement ring. Tim and Meaghan were very easy to work with. They were responsive and so insightful.   Can't Recommend enough!

  I sought out a jeweler in Alexandria, VA to help me redesign a family ring. My grandfather recently passed away; and my grandmother gifted me her engagement ring from him after I got engaged. I immediately knew that I wanted to redesign it into my wedding band; but it was a little tough because I treasured the ring so much. My first meeting with Meaghan to discuss the design was so easy - I really had no clue what I wanted, I'd never redesigned or had custom jewelry made before. Meaghan immediately came up with an idea and she made me feel so at ease entrusting her and Tim with my grandmother's ring. Within 4 weeks, I had a CAD drawing of the design, and 4-5 weeks later I picked up my ring. It goes so flawlessly with my engagement ring that all my friends say it looks like a set. I couldn't be happier with the ring, but I knew I would love it all along. Meaghan, Tim, and Ana will all make you feel comfortable and you can trust them with your big projects!

  Tim at Lawrence Miller is fantastic! An absolute pleasure to work with and helped me figure out exactly what I wanted for my rings. He created 2 custom pieces, a diamond ring and a wedding band, for me and I get sooo many compliments on them!! He also helped my fiance figure out what the best ring for him would be as a bike mechanic. I cannot say enough good things about LMC.

The customization rates were better than any and he will design a setting for you even if he doesn't help you find your diamond. My fiance shopped around but found the best price for the diamond through LDM&Co. They designed the ring with input from my sister in law and made many changes until it was perfect. My ring is gorgeous and one of a kind. you MUST go to them! I have sent friends to them for years and everyone loved the experience, the end product and the price!

  My fiance worked with Tim to design a beautiful ring that I STILL cannot stop staring at. I didn't know what I wanted for an engagement ring, but found a photo of a vintage ring that caught my eye. I showed it to my fiance and then forgot about it. He also loved the design and worked with Tim to design a custom ring inspired by that design...just in time to fly to Spain where he proposed to me. After a few visits to other jewelers who were pushy and made him feel uncomfortable about not buying a "big enough" diamond, the folks at Lawrence Miller got him excited about buying a ring again. I instantly felt the kindness of the staff when I walked in the door to have my ring resized.

  When my fiancé and I decided to shop for wedding rings, I had never in my life heard of, or contemplated the idea of, a custom ring. It was his idea. I really liked vintage rings but there was always something I wished was different about the piece or the cost was... just wow. I'm too practical to even think about wearing a diamond every day. Going custom, and trusting the job to Lawrence Miller & Co. was the right decision. With only a few back and forth emails and a personal visit or two, we designed a custom ring with art deco, filigree, scrolling, small green stone accents, and a moissanite center stone. We were sent to Atlantic Gems in Silver Spring to look at stones to put in the setting. Tim, the designer, works with the owner there, Rahul, who is also fantastic to work with. He helped us decide between different kinds of green accent stones, talked to us about the pros and cons of the moissanite I was considering to escape diamond. No pressure to be had from Tim or Rahul, ever! I got a fantastic looking, totally personal ring, at a seriously reduced cost of buying from a big brand--even disregarding my inexpensive stone choice.
  
  I love my ring and the process of designing with my to-be fiancé made the ring extra personal. I can't even handle the "he went to Jared" commercials anymore. Mine went to custom at Lawrence Miller & Co. and it is perfect.

  Oh my gosh, Lawrence Miller & Co was such a dream to work with for our wedding rings. We first used them to make my engagement ring. Tim, one of the main jewelers there, was so kind. He was willing to help with whatever we wanted. We will continue to use Lawrence Miller & Co for all of our jewelry needs in the future, they are just amazing.

Lawrence ended up using his mom and grandma's engagement diamond with two other diamonds and building a beautiful three-stone ring that just sparkles. My band was another custom piece that they worked with us on designing, and I absolutely loves it. We also bought my husband's band from here, and they were incredibly helpful. Tim recommended a palladium ring for my husband since his band was thick (and thus heavy) which shows you that they're more about building a relationship with their customers than just making the most money possible. I've already told every friend who is thinking about popping the question to go straight here and talk to them first.

  I smile every time I walk into this store. Tim and Lawrence are the reason I will drive down from Pennsylvania to Alexandria, VA. My husband DESIGNED my engagement ring with these guys--while he was in Romania. He showed me all of the emails that went back and forth to design the ring--they worked incredibly hard to get it exactly how he imagined it. As a result, my engagement ring and wedding band are absolute works of art. They are the nicest guys--and will even let you back in the workshop to see them work. They also do great work with rehab of older fine pieces of silver and jewelry. Their shop is great just to see all of the incredible pieces.

  Diamond in the Rough!

  I met Tim (designer) after previously failing at finding someone to re-create my Art Deco dream ring (for over a year). My now fiancé and I happened upon his shop while in downtown Alexandria and it was such a relief to finally have someone say yes to revamping a 100 year old style without any caveats or compromises. The ring has turned out beautifully and I’m so excited to commission a few additional pieces to wear on my big day!
