  Fantastic DJ’s kept everyone moving!

  Josh and Gene were fantastic. They kept everyone at my daughter’s wedding dancing and moving. The music was great. Josh was very attentive to our every want and need. Gene was on the floor getting the crowd involved. Both are very personable and fun guys. I would highly recommend them and won’t hesitate to use them in the future.

  Fantastic Wedding DJ

  We just had our wedding on June 22nd. We had Dave Vandeyar as our DJ and he was fantastic I was so happy I asked for him specifically! He was professional, timely, flexible, communicated with us and understood what I was looking for. We had the basic package but it met all of our needs. I would suggest hiring him and I would hire him again for another event!

  So Freaking Good!!

  My husband and I are beyond impressed with LB Entertainment! We spoke with Matt numerous times leading up to our wedding day to coordinate the timeline, ceremony details, and general music preferences. He, unfortunately, got sick just before our wedding, but his brother, Josh, quickly stepped in and kept everything running smoothly. Without missing a beat (no pun intended), Josh reached out to confirm our wedding day details. More than that, however, he coordinated with us all throughout the day in a way that wasn’t overwhelming, from starting the ceremony early to providing detailed instructions for The Hora to reminding us when it was time to cut the cake. Josh knew exactly how to make our wedding run as smoothly as possible, and my husband and I are so grateful for his detailed coordination. Not least of all, the music during our reception was spot on! Every single one of our guests have told us they absolutely loved the music/entertainment at our wedding, and we’re so glad we chose LB Entertainment.

  Great DJ, highly recommend

  Matt was exceptional! From the moment we first contacted him, he was very responsive and enthusiastic. During the planning process, he listened and understood exactly what we wanted, and he helped us brainstorm when we needed help. Our wedding day couldn't have gone any better. He knew how to match the energy of our wedding and guests, and people were dancing all night. You can't go wrong with DJ Matt!

  Phenomenal!

  We had an Indian fusion wedding. Carlos was easily able to transition between Indian, Latin and American music. He kept the guests on the dance floor all night! I can’t thank you enough for the wonderful service! Thank you, Carlos!!

  Personalized and perfect for our micro wedding!

  Matthew Lask was our DJ for our micro wedding this past Sunday. In the months prior to our wedding, Matt made sure he was available for my many questions and put my mind at ease about how smoothly he would coordinate with our venue to provide the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. A dedicated professional, Matt provided the sounds and set the tone for what turned out to be a memorable, good time for our friends and family. Thank you Matt!

  Best DJ Ever

  Where do I even start. DJ DAN was the absolute best DJ we have ever had at a wedding! From the very beginning he caught the vibe perfectly! Every single guest had something positive to say about how awesome Dan was. I would recommend him for literally any event. Our wedding was the best night of our lives and we are convinced that Dan was a major part in that. From the very bottom of our hearts thank you thank you! We wish we could relive this night over and over again.

  Best DJ for Party

  The experience with Hudson Valley Event Group was very pleasant.
  Andrew was very communicative and on top of everything, he followed up and followed through whenever we had questions. The website portal that we used to submit song requests, as well as detail the ceremony and wedding songs was intuitive and was detailed in a way that helped us create a timeline that was effective and included all of the details that we wanted for our wedding celebration. Dan was our assigned and was nothing short of professional and thorough. From our first phone conversation with him a few weeks before our wedding, to meeting him on the day of the celebration, he was friendly, engaging, and made us feel comfortable that he was at the helm. Dan was an excellent MC, he did everything exactly how we requested from timing of the songs to the duration of the songs. He knew how to keep the party going, and was able to take requests from our guests, while still maintaining the flow of the music. Dan worked well at the venue, seamlessly integrating with the coordinator, the photographer & videographer, as well as the bride and the groom and members of the wedding party to ensure that everything went according to schedule, and he was an integral part of making sure our celebration a night to remember.

He was very easy to communicate with from the very beginning and amazing the day of the event as well. Dan from the very start stood out to us because he was not pushy like some other vendors we spoke with but rather he was clearly ready to listen, be flexible, and had a lot of great ideas. He did a great job taking my requests and curating a perfect playlist for what we wanted. We had a medical emergency with one of our guests at the reception, and Dan sprung into action to bring everyone onto the dance floor to keep guests distracted and out of the way so the person could be taken care of. Most guests did not even know there was an issue and were just very complimentary of the music and how engaged the DJ kept the crowd. We 100% recommend!

  from choral music to a packed dance floor

  LB Entertainment’s Matthew Lask did some impeccable work at my wedding at Mountainville Manor. During the ceremony, he worked closely with my bridesmaids (my best girlfriends from choir) to coordinate his music with their a cappella singing. Matthew watched their cues carefully and was ready to supplement their singing with beautiful instrumental music as soon as they had concluded their choral set. Afterwards, at our dinner, Matthew brought my husband’s and my vision to life perfectly! He timed our intro music so that we were able to waltz right onto the floor, directly into our first dance, and he always had the microphone ready for toasts. When our guests hit the dance floor, Matthew coordinated the most exciting hora I’ve ever been a part of. My husband’s father is in a wheelchair, so Matthew gave us cues and instructions to dance around him, making sure that he was a part of every moment of our dancing—this meant the world to my father-in-law. Matthew also saved me from being thrown off my chair and catapulted directly into the ceiling, keeping an eye on the groomsmen and directing their efforts when they got a bit too enthusiastic. Following the hora, Matthew kept everyone—and I mean everyone, especially my father-in-law—on the dance floor for high-energy dance sets, punctuated by all the desserts, toasts, and surprises and my husband and I had planned for the evening. Matt is such a highly skilled and caring professional who is incredibly detail-oriented, personable, patient, flexible, and knowledgable in all things music and entertainment. We especially appreciated the skill it took to seamlessly mix songs during the peak dance hour of our reception.
  Matt played so many songs that catered to the wide array of musical tastes in that room and masterfully directed our families during the Hora and other big dances.

  Dan from LB Entertainment (also known as Hudson Valley Event Group) was so supportive of me and my husband's weird music choices. LB was super accommodating even when we had to change our ceremony music package last-minute, and everything went perfectly - not a sound issue in sight! Dan ensured the night went smoothly, and nobody was confused or perplexed. I would totally recommend Dan and LB/HVEC in the future!

  If you’re looking for a DJ in the Hudson Valley, seriously look no further. LB Entertainment was absolutely incredible! My husband and I wanted our special day to be perfect and DJ Matt was just that & beyond! Throughout the wedding planning process, Matt scheduled phone calls periodically to offer recommendations, guidance and encouragement. Matt assisted in structuring our wedding day to ensure everything was seamless. Matt was one of the few vendors who eased the wedding planning stress and made us genuinely excited with his own enthusiasm, kindness and hard work. During the wedding planning process, LB entertainment provided an online platform that allowed us to explore our favorite wedding songs, choose songs we didn’t like, and even select different lighting options. Their attention to detail was honestly impressive! My husband and I created a Spotify playlist with our music selections and Matt completely understood our style & preferences. When it came to our wedding day, everything was perfectly executed by LB entertainment. Matt kept us on track according to our timeline and gathered family and friends for toasts. The lighting was so fun and matched our foam glow sticks we had on the dance floor, which looked like something out of a movie!!   Josh Lask and Jason Hoss

  Josh Lask, our D.J. And Jason Hoss, our photographer were absolutely incredible. Our wedding was a dream. The attention to detail, the organization, the memories we made were just indescribable. Josh had the party going the entire time. He was so involved with our wedding guests. Just lovely. Jason was always going for a unique shot and one that wasn’t done before and we were taken back by his work. He had done our engagement photos so we knew that the wedding photos were gonna be incredible. Both have a passion for their work and you can tell! I would recommend them for any special event.

  Best DJ in the Hudson Valley Area

  I cannot recommend this company enough! Josh and his team are the best in the area without question. Josh offered fantastic advice and insight to make our day exactly as we pictured it and utilize our time to the best of our ability. The music selections satisfied our entire party, and they really listened to what my husband and I requested. They worked hard to make our day special and everyone could not stop talking about how great the DJ was. Overall, this team has real talent and will keep the event classy while keeping the party going. Again, I cannot recommend enough.

  Mike's the best!

  Highly recommend Hudson Valley Event Group. Mike was the DJ for our wedding and he did an amazing job of getting the party started and keeping it going. We had amazing calls with Mike prior to the wedding and he really understood what kind of vibe we were going for and executed that perfectly.

  We cannot say enough great things about Dan. He was incredibly accommodating, beyond helpful, and always a text or email away if we had any questions, comments, or concerns. He was very involved in the process and was sure to double check all of our important songs for throughout the night. My husband wishes that there was one more slow song than played and that a couple of our must plays that didn't play played, but I appreciated that Dan had nearly the entire wedding dancing throughout the night. His MCing kept the party going too and my guests couldn't stop saying how much fun they had on the dance floor. At the end of the night, when we had wanted to do a private last dance, Dan helped us clear the floor efficiently and made the moment super special. Thank you Dan!

  I could not be happier with my decision to hire LB Entertainment for my wedding. Matt Lask is simply top notch. From the very beginning when we first spoke he immediately saw our vision. He asked me so many questions that I wouldn't have even thought of. He accommodated every single request I made and gave suggestions to ensure we had an incredibly smooth reception. I absolutely loved their online portal to fill out my requests and all the details of my wedding. These guys are super organized and true professionals. Our wedding reception could not have gone better and I truly give all the credit to Matt for making our wedding dreams and visions come to life. Our dance floor was PACKED the entire night. It was everything we hoped for and more. I can't even begin to thank them enough for giving us the best day ever.

  Excellent DJ & MC services

  The Hudson Valley Event Group saved our wedding! Under unfortunate circumstances we found ourselves without a DJ only 2 weeks before our wedding date and by happenstance I came across Dan performing at another event. Within 24 hours of speaking with him, we had everything lined up and all our questions answered. He never hesitated to find the time to meet with us to review the music, pace, and plans for the event all while providing excellent suggestions on par with his expertise. Everything about the DJ & MC experience went perfectly at our wedding. I cannot recommend Dan enough!

  Truly customized to our needs -- our wedding was an absolute blast! Highly recommend!

  We got married last month (April 2023) at the Mountainville Manor in Mountainville, NY. We hired Matthew to be our DJ/MC, and we couldn't be happier with that decision! Matthew (and LB Entertainment) came personally and highly recommended from our venue owner Lauren as someone who frequently DJ-ed at the manor. Matthew was punctual, a joy to be around with his infectious energy, and such a professional -- he smoothed out any nerves we had (especially about the first dance!) and we were super happy with the amount of communication to ensure we were on the same page for what we wanted to play! We had a very specific blend of music that we had asked for -- 70s/80s for our cocktail hour, South African house music for dinner, and then a mix of Afro-beats and classic hits for our reception -- and Matthew delivered flawlessly! He was also flexible when we were running behind for the ceremony and when we had a relatively last-minute addition to our schedule. Matthew did an amazing job selecting music that paired well with the energy of the scheduled events. Even though we had a small wedding (~50 guests), we are VERY happy that we made the choice to have a DJ -- we highly recommend hiring LB Entertainment for your wedding, you won't regret it! He was fully respectful of our please-don't-play-list, our uncommon requests, and stayed flexible with our ever-changing minds.
