    Absolutely Amazing!

    Left Coast Quintet did an absolutely amazing job at our wedding! They played prior to the ceremony starting, during the ceremony, and during cocktail hour. They have a long list of songs that they play and they even learned a new one just for us.

    We had them play Disney music, Harry Potter music during our cocktail hour and our guests loved it!

    We can’t thank Left Coast enough. They made our wedding extra special!

    Really made my wedding day special!

    I wasn't sure what I wanted for wedding ceremony music. We thought we'd just go with some pre-recorded songs on a speaker. I met the LCQ ensemble at a wedding show and was immediately convinced this was the way to go. The way they sculpted the mood while my family arrived, and then performed beautiful custom arrangements of our favorite music, was so special. This team of musicians really are the best out there, beyond the music,they are so professional, friendly, and really care about you. Outside of my wedding planner, LCQ was the most reliable, communicative, and consistent person I dealt with.

    Unique and Excellent

    If you're looking for a vendor that is truly unique and personal, this is it! Dan and his team are friendly, kind, flexible and extremely talented. The music was just perfect for our August event!

    Magical experience

    Dan was fabulous about coordinating the plan for my wedding and his group arranged all of the music I requested. Everything turned out beautiful during the event and their group just made it even more magical!

    Best Music Possible

    If you are in need of music, book LCQ ASAP!

    Wait, that didn’t convince you? Let me elaborate! Left Coast Quintet was an INCREDIBLE choice for our wedding. Dan and group are highly professional, supremely talented, and easy to work with.

    We hired LCQ to perform for the wedding ceremony and the cocktail hour of the reception. Their list of music was impressive and included both traditional songs and whimsical choices. For us Disney/jazz fans, the options allowed us to choose unique pieces to fit our personal style. It was beautiful to see our guests (including the children) recognize Rainbow Connection, Edelweiss, We Don’t Talk About Bruno, etc. Our only regret we have is not hiring them to perform for the entire reception!

    We would unequivocally recommend them to anyone who is looking for live music for any event.

    Do yourself a favor and book the Left Coast Quintet!

    The Left Coast Quintet was the perfect choice for our wedding ceremony. Wanting to do something different than the average wedding ceremony, we were inspired by Prokofiev's "Peter and the Wolf" that pairs short musical movements with a narrated story. The group's main contact, Dan, was enthusiastic about the idea and graciously spent hours with us over the phone to help us perfectly pair musical selections to each segment of our ceremony from their extremely vast song list across all different genres. We couldn't be happier with how it turned out and continue to receive rave reviews from our guests!

    Very accommodating, great sound.

    My daughter's wedding had some weather challenges: rain. But Left Coast Quintet were willing to set up under a gazebo and the music went on. In fact, they made it fun by playing "Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head" and "Singing in the Rain." LOL. They were even willing to play a wedding march I composed for our walk down the aisle. Very meaningful. My daughter always wanted a live ensemble and we got a great group for her.

    Incredible musical group for any occasion

    We booked LCQ for our wedding ceremony, and they couldn’t have possibly been better. They even did custom arrangements for specific songs we wanted, and all our guests raved about their performance. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

    Terrific ceremony music

    LCQ couldn't have been better for our wedding ceremony. They played a wide variety of music, and all of it utterly beautifully. I can't recommend them highly enough for any event; they're absolutely terrific, and you won't regret working with them.

    Best Music Team

    If you are in need of live music, I can only highly recommend LCQ. Their team is amazing and Dan Weiss is so wonderful to work with. They are highly professional, supremely talented and well organized. I am a wedding planner here in San Diego and this team are the first to be recommended to our couples who are looking for a seamless experience. I would unequivocally recommend them to anyone who is looking to add a touch of sophistication to their Wedding Ceremony.

    This group played beautifully & even custom-arranged some music for me. Dan is very responsive & reliable. They are a nice change from the traditional sting quintet. I recommended!

    Perfect music for refreshing ambience

    Left Coast Quintet provided wonderful live music for our wedding. They have a great list of repertoire for you to select from. Dan is super easy going and great to work with, also very flexible when changes had to be made. We had the musicians play live for ceremony and cocktail hour, then Dan MC and DJ'd with his music playlist for the reception. It was a great package and we're so glad that we hired them to make our special day even more festive!

    Couldn't recommend more!

    They were awesome! The music was great and I felt that they definitely elevated the whole wedding. They played all the classics and even made me my own custom arrangement to walk down the aisle to. Then Dan MCed our reception which was a great alternative to getting a DJ. I couldn't recommend them more and I think our wedding guests were really surprised by the whole thing 🤗

    Best quintet ever!

    Dan and Left Coast Quintet were beyond amazing!! If you are looking for musicians- look no further. They performed during the prelude, ceremony, and cocktail hour of my wedding. Dan was so helpful in helping me pick out more traditional songs for the wedding. For cocktail hour they played more contemporary/ movie classics ( we really wanted to hear Rihanna's "We Found Love" and they hit it out of the park!). I can't recommend them enough!! Thank you SO MUCH Dan for helping us make our wedding day so special!!

    Our favorite live musical group.

    Our family has used the Left Coast Quintet and trio for a number of occasions throughout the years. It is a pleasure to write them a review here, because they've gone out of their way to make our events special and provide exceptional music. We've had them for two weddings, a couple holiday events, and a memorial service, and each time it is always lovely working with Dan and the LCQ team to come up with a set list of beautiful music that fits the theme. We've had many guests come tell us just how much they loved the music and how friendly the musicians are in talking with them about the different instruments in the ensemble, and they are great with kids too!

    Amazing!! The Left Coast Quintet was a memorable experience.

    Amazing! My husband and I just got married this past Saturday and we couldn’t be any happier with the Quintet. I reached out to Dan a year ago to get my “save the date” in place due to great reviews and wow did they deliver! Guests were very happy with their performance as were we. Dan was so easy to work with, answered all my questions, and absolutely made sure my Disney theme came to life. I would absolutely recommend!! Made our day extra special. Thank you so much.

    Hire Dan and team!

    We hired Dan and team for our wedding in March of this year after seeing all the positive reviews on Yelp, Wedding Wire, etc. Dan was so easy to work with, committed to our event and genuine in making it perfect for us. He was very responsive both via email and phone, reassuring us he was there whenever we needed.

    Due to the coronavirus restrictions, our event had to be cancelled and as expected, Dan was caring and understanding about the cancellation. We are so sad we will not be able to hear his musicians but hope to reschedule and work with him again in the future.

    If you are looking for someone to make your event special, definitely consider Dan and team!! You will not be disappointed.

    Amazing Ceremony Music

    Dan and his crew are absolutely amazing and so professional. We used them for our wedding in 2019 and I would 100% recommend them to anyone who needs music for any kind of reception, wedding or event. Dan’s knowledge of music and the groups extremely wide range of songs made it super easy to book and rely on to make our wedding day perfect!

    Great work!!!

    Dan was so easy to communicate with and personable! We had requested a string trio for our wedding and they did a fantastic job! They played the genre and songs we requested for our cocktail hour and ceremony beautifully. I definitely recommend them for any event! They made their part of wedding planning and the day of a breeze!

    Wonderful ceremony musicians

    Dan and his team at Left Coast Quintet were amazing to work with! Dan was insightful and provided great recommendations for the ceremony music. On the day of the wedding, Dan and his musicians provided beautiful music for the processional, recessional and key moments during mass. I would highly recommend them!

    Left Coast Quintet

    We had the opportunity to work with Dan, and had the best experience. He and the group were so flexible in giving us what we wanted, while still being honest, providing suggestions that helped my husband and I make good decisions. Even when we didn’t go with what he suggested, the music we chose was so well performed, and truly made our ceremony so incredibly special. I can’t imagine having had anyone else perform or provide music; they are the best!

    Perfect ambiance for a perfect day

    We hired the string duet for our garden wedding ceremony, and they were great! We received lots of compliments from our family on the ambience they brought to the event. Working with Dan was also a pleasure. He responded in a timely fashion to all my inquiries. They also have a wide repertoire of music to choose from, so we were able to customize our pre-ceremony, processional, and recessional music to our tastes. They have a lot of popular music, soundtrack, and other non-wedding specific arrangements, so I'd definitely recommend them for any event!

    We had Left Coast Quintet play our ceremony music at Cuvier Park this past weekend and they did a phenomenal job! My husband is extremely picky when it comes to music and he had to have a band that had a French Horn. We were so happy when we found Left Coast Quintet. Dan was extremely responsive throughout the entire planning process. He seemed to always be one step ahead asking us for information and being patient when it took us a while to respond. We got so many compliments on the ceremony music and everyone was extremely impressed! Thank you Dan and the rest of the group for the beautiful ceremony music! We are so glad you were part of our big day!

    We had the Jazz Trio (bassoon, clarinet, & flute/sax) play for drinks and dinner for a corporate holiday party and they were fantastic! They played for two full hours of wonderful background music; a nice mix of jazz standards and holiday music.

    They played a high profile gala reception in on a patio at a local hotel. Challenging acoustics but they made it work beautifully! They were flexible with music options and a delight to work with! Really enjoyed their professionalism and talent. Highly recommend them!!
