  Two magical weddings!

  We hosted our daughter's wedding at Lehman Barn last night and it was magical! Because of Covid, we ended up having a small estate wedding in June, where Gwen handled everything for us. We had "part two" the big reception at the barn Oct 10th. Gwen walked us through every bit of the journey and even created a circular flower arch for the ceremony! Both events went seamlessly and Gwen remained open, flexible and supportive as we navigated through these unprecedented times. She supported our daughter with genuine care and concern and because of her, our beautiful bride felt celebrated and loved on the biggest day of her life so far. The flowers were spectacular, the food was delicious, the cake was scrumptious, the DJ was the best we ever had, the details were all taken care of, and the ice cream truck was the absolute hit of the night. All of this, organized and orchestrated by Gwen! Her staff worked tirelessly at both events to make everything run smoothly and Covid clean. She even provided a special restroom truck that had little restrooms just like ones you'd find in a home!
  I must say though, the only thing she didn't organize were the breathtaking clouds, pink sunset, and golden hills that painted the backdrop for the big day! That credit goes to the Big Guy upstairs!
  All of this totaling A perfect reception at the barn, a perfect little backyard wedding, and a priceless supply of a lifetime's worth of memories. We are so grateful to Gwen and her family and staff! Both events couldn't have been any better!

  Our wedding day was perfect. If you are planning a wedding and decide to go with Gwen and Jordan to put your day together you can stop worrying about everything as soon as you trust them to take care of it. And trust me, you can trust them. If I could change one thing about my wedding planning process it would be that I didn’t spend so much time worrying about what could go wrong on our big day. In the end, it was so beautiful. I won’t deny that a lot of it had to do with our amazing friends and family. But, we couldn’t have had them all together at such a beautiful venue that thought of every little detail without the Lehman Barn. Just a few things that were so awesome about the whole process:
  The barn is stunning
  Gwen is so nice and so is her entire family
  Jordan is extremely professional
  They both have a ton of connections in the wedding planning world and found the perfect vendors to suit our preferences and style
  There were a few times I panicked about getting things done in preparation for the wedding and when I called or emailed Gwen or Jordan, they had already done it.
  Go with the Lehman Barn for your wedding if you want the whole thing to be stress free, relaxed, and beautiful. We couldn’t imagine having had a more perfect day and we can’t thank them enough for taking care of everything.
  

  Our wedding day was perfect.   The barn was beautiful and all the staff was so accommodating. The ceremony was under the most beautiful old tree. So happy I choose Lehman Barn as the venue.

  If you want to have a beautiful rustic/vintage wedding, you do not need to look any further!! Though this sounds cliche, it is exactly as you read it. Though it has only been 2 weeks from our wedding, we still get comments about the venue and staff at Lehman Barn. Besides the obvious beauty of the venue, I was also blessed to be able to work with Gwen and Jordan. Both women truly got to know me and help make my wedding dream into a reality. I commend them on all their hard work and willingness to go above and beyond for others. My husband and I can say that our wedding did not have any problems (that we know of) thanks to these women and this venue.

  Gwen the most genuine and down to earth person I have worked with. She truly cares about every aspect of what the couple wants. I love that she asked about the groom, so as to include his likes in the wedding! She was very flexible with our crazy schedules, and made the wedding planning a breeze! I left a lot of the decorating up to her, and just gave her details of what I would like, and she exceeded my expectations! The wedding was more beautiful and more special than we imagined!
  I would absolutely recommend this venue to friends!

  Amazing. There are no words for how perfect everything planned through Lehman Barn was. Gwen was outstanding and made my wedding the dream fairytale I wanted it to be!!

  Gwen made our day go so smoothly! I have passed this spot for ages and always said I would get married there, and I did! We had some financial issues along the way and Gwen worked with us through everything. She had everything covered that I had forgot about. Bridesmaids and I showed up early to set up and she told us to go sit inside cause she had people who would do it for us. Truly a life-saver cause time flew by that day.

  Oh, Gwen, I can't possible say enough positive things about our wedding experience with Lehman Barn. You have gone above and beyond what I ever would have expected -- taking me to find centerpiece flowers and catering dish ideas. But for all of the pre-wedding prep with her, it was her attention to detail on the wedding day -- along with her two sisters -- that made our wedding over-the-top wonderful! She and I are kindred spirits when it comes to DIY, and we were so on the same page when it came to my Victorian vision of how to decorate the barn. We went back to the barn nearly a week later to pick up some of the heavy things we had to leave behind, and there were Gwen and her sisters busting their hump to decorate for another wedding that weekend --- entirely different than how our wedding was. They just go above and beyond what you'd ever expect.
  
  The price, compared to other barn venues in the area, was super-affordable, too.

  There were great things and things I wish could of been different, but who doesn't think that about there wedding. Responsiveness, was not great at all. They encouraged me to communicate through a service they had set up online. So that was nice cause everything including our contract was in the same place. But it felt like they only checked the site for conversations every other week. The response time was often much later and made me worry about things. Value, turned out to be great. Our guest list number ended up being very small, so instead of just taking the money and running they reinvested it into things that we had cut to try and save money (dance floor, lemonade/water stand, coffee after dinner).   Thank you for the review. I was shocked for the review of us checking our messages every other week. As soon as a message comes in from our site it pops up on my email. I looked back thru the thread and the longest response time was 3 days. I apologize if you feel this was not professional. I think the real issue was your guest count dropping by half and you feeling uneasy about having a wedding with 40 guests. The great thing is, is that we could then take those extra funds and put them toward making your wedding more intimate and upgrade things to make it spectacular. I wish you two the best and truly loved working with you. We would love to see some more photos because the ones I did see were stunning!

  Terrible Experience All Around

  
  Unless you want to feel completely violated, then do not do business with Gwen and Lehman Barn. She's not honest.
  
  We made payments towards the "all inclusive" package for approximately 120 guests. However, due to the pandemic, we had to reduce guest count to just over 50.
  
  Gwen did not adjust down the price aside from catering (who my wife and I worked directly with). Instead, despite repeated requests to adjust the price down, she tried to string my wife along saying she would be "flexible" (whatever that means). Instead of reducing the price down, Gwen insisted that we postpone our wedding, when we didn't want to.
  
  Long story short, Gwen kept all of the money we paid her and we only recieved half of what we paid for. As if that was not enough, Gwen demanded that we pay her significantly more money the day before our wedding. Given that she demanded this money on the eve of our wedding, we were clearly in position where we couldn't tell her no, because then she wouldn't have allowed the event to move forward.
  
  She calls herself a "wedding coordinator" despite not coordinating much. She claims she has a "staff" when I believe it's her family because it was some guy walking around in shorts and a T-shirt and then some kid walking around in a cowboy hat. When we showed up for our rehearsal with our family, Gwen was wearing a Playboy hat (not a good look). During the event, I saw Gwen walking around aimlessly when she should have been doing what she claims she does - coordinating. Instead, or photographers were the ones who were don't all of the coordinating.
  
  There are so many more things I want to say in this review, but won't.
  
  Based on this, I firmly believe that Gwen is an actual crook and a conartist (and a good one).

  I expected this review, Jeremy your drug use as well as your friends over use put your guests and our venue at risk.
  
  Being rude is easy. It does not take any effort and is a sign of weakness and insecurity. Kindness shows great self-discipline and strong self-esteem. Being kind is not always easy when dealing with rude people. Kindness is a sign of a person that has done a lot of personal work and has come to a great self-understanding and wisdom.
