LESLIE & TEAM!!!! WOW. Not sure how you get 16 people together with hair and makeup in 3.5 hours while making it stress free and accommodating everyones pinterest ideas. You guys completely exceeded our expectations. Each guest kept complementing how beautiful the bride and bridal parties hair and makeup was and they have never seen designs so beautiful. You guys really know how to make a group of girls feel special.
Leslie!! As a bride who changes her mind a million times, you were so flexible and so accommodating. From engagement pictures, to my trial, to my big day, it was an absolute pleasure getting to know you. Though I hired Leslie as a vendor, I walked out with a friend. She is the sweetest, most genuine person, who wants your day to be all you have dreamed of. My hair was beautiful, my makeup was natural, and my lashes didn't move for days! Thank you Leslie and your team, I will forever recommend you and be coming to you for all my hair/makeup needs. -

Leslie was seriously wonderful. She is very calming if that's your vibe but if you're higher energy and want to chat it up, she's so much fun too. I don't like to talk a lot when getting ready, and Leslie always matched my energy and made me feel super comfortable. I was blown away by what an incredible job each and every time...
Even more impressively, I would say a pretty general explanation of the 'look' I wanted to accomplish and would only show her one or two photos, and she'd KNOCK IT. OUT. OF. THE PARK!
She did my hair/makeup for our engagement photos, rehearsal dinner, and wedding- and every time she truly did a beautiful job. She brought a team of women for the wedding to take care of the rest of the wedding party, and they all did a wonderful job too- I trusted that they'd be great because you realize right away you can trust Leslie with making you look and feel like an absolute princess for your event.

I'm so glad I hired Leslie! I don't wear makeup and really wanted to feel like "me" on my wedding day. Leslie did an incredible job of giving me makeup that was beautiful but still felt so natural. Beyond that, she was a joy to hang out with on my wedding day. My whole bridal party loved her. I'd hire her again and again if I was doing the day over! -

Leslie is BEYOND talented! I did both a trail and wedding hair/makeup with her. She spent so much time with me and my trail, didn't rush me at all. Then I showed up the wedding day with a hair vine we hadn't used in the trail, and changes I wanted to make to both hair/makeup from the trail. She REALLY listened to my requests and adjusted what she did, and WOW!! My hair and makeup turned out amazing, I have received endless compliments from everyone on it. On top of that, she is an incredible human who is calming and a pure pleasure to be with on your wedding day!!Leslie Ellis Hair & Makeup's reply:

Leah Sent on 04/21/2017I'm so happy I decided to contact Leslie to do my hair and makeup for my elopement in Nashville. She is absolutely amazing! She took my inspiration pics and made them come to life, even better than I imagined. After my hair and makeup trial and seeing how great everything looked, and how well it held up, I was even more excited for our special day! Leslie is super friendly and makes you feel so comfortable, just like having another one of your girlfriends around. It also didn't hurt that my husband thought I was absolutely stunning! ;) I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for these services in the Nashville area! -

She and her assistant did the hair and makeup for myself and 5 bridesmaids, and they were professional, fast, and did beautiful work! I looked exactly like how I hoped for on my wedding day. She knew exactly what we wanted for hair and make-up and made it come to life. The trial went so smoothly and I was immediately comfortable and confident with her. She was affordable and worked with out budget. On the day of the wedding, she brought along her assistant Abby who is equally wonderful. Both girls fit right into the day so well it was like they were long time friends of ours. Everyone looked beautiful and our hair and make up lasted all night long! So thankful for Leslie! :) -

Jane A. Sent on 07/28/2015Leslie did my hair and make-up on 3 occasions during wedding prep and festivities (for boudoir photos, bridal shoot, and wedding day). I just wish I had another reason for her to doll me up!
I loved working with Leslie and I felt fabulous each time she finished with me. Every bride wants to feel that their wedding day is the day that they feel the most beautiful they have ever felt. In addition to my dress, Leslie is what made that happen for me! And I have the pictures to prove it! :)
To say that I am picky and that I "know what I like" is probably an understatement. It was important to me to have a hair & make-up artist who listened to what I wanted and didn't mind adjusting something according to my feedback. Leslie nailed the look I wanted and was more than a pleasure to work with. My hair was a classic and elegant half-updo. My favorite parts of my make-up were the airbrush foundation and eyelashes- They really make the look when you are having photos taken. In no way did anything look "caked on"- just flawless and gorgeous! She even introduced me to a couple of products that I now use on a daily basis.
Whether you want a very fixed look or more of a "barely there" look, just tell her and let Leslie do her thing. The results will put you on Cloud 9! And, if you're like me, you won't be able to stop looking at the pictures from that day! -

You can bring her a photo of something you like and she can quickly create the same look and also offer advice on subtle changes so that it looks like "you" and not some model. I am so incredibly thankful for help beauty help on my wedding day! -

As soon as dates were chosen one of the first things both girls did was book Leslie to make sure they could get her that day. Both brides and 14 brides maids were thrilled with hair and make up. One of the brides maids had just gotten engaged and booked Leslie on the spot for her wedding day and engagement pictures.Some brought pictures some left it up to her and all were very happy. She was great to work with and really cared about making the brides days special.She will make you look on your wedding day flawless!! -

This is important if you, your mom, and bridesmaids all need help getting ready on your wedding day! And not only does she do amazing hair, but flawless makeup with the perfect combination of wedding day glamour and your non wedding day self ( you want to look like the best version of YOU on your big day). Anyways, I was so happy I picked Leslie to do mine as well as my bridal parties hair and makeup. Love her creativity and passion for what she does. You will not be disappointed! If I were to do everything over again would pick her again 100%!

Leslie was great to work with! She is super sweet and worked so fast on the morning of the wedding. She arrived at 9 am with one assistant and had hair and makeup completed for: myself (the bride), two moms and four bridesmaids by 1 pm with no trouble at all. I would definitely recommend Leslie. -
