Joe and Rachal are truly phenomenal people. They went above and beyond what was expected, what we even paid for. They did more than just "officiate" our wedding. I didn't have to worry about a single thing! Rachal was so invested and responsive. She and Joe met with us early on and took the time to get to know us! Rachal answered all our questions and was extremely supportive of any idea. She guided us through the entire process, no detail went unnoticed. She was super knowledgable and kind. They made all of our announcements and controlled our playlist the day of. Joe and Rachal are WORTH IT! Their service and professionalism was incredible and I couldn't imagine that day without them. They, and the services they provided, certainly exceeded any expectation I had. They made what should have been a stressful day, stress-free! You would be crazy to pass Joe & Rachal up!!!Let's Do This Wedding Thing!'s reply:

Planning a wedding (and executing on that plan) can be a very difficult and stressful process. It can be even MORE stressful when family and friends insert themselves and vendors don't follow through, as promised. However, it can be a heck of a lot LESS stressful when you hire the right one to handle things and alleviate your burden.
People can go back and forth debating hiring a day-of coordinator, but let me tell you: they are worth their weight in gold. In our case, it just so happened that our day-of coordinator was also our officiant, which is actually how we met her in the first place. We met Rachal at a local coffeeshop to discuss ceremony structure, vows, what my wife and I value in our relationship, and how we wanted our special day to unfold. During those few hours together, we laughed, we cried, and we shared memories. Most importantly, my wife and I left that meeting, knowing full-well that we had made the right decision hiring Rachal.
My wife and I had done so much planning and preparation for our wedding that not much was left for family and friends to help, except some massive venue preparation the week-of that was out of our control. We "thought" we had everything covered. Well, that quickly changed when Rachal started asking questions and we thought, "Oh shit, what are we going to do about that?" Rachal offered calm words of reassurance and said, "Don't worry. I can handle that."
She took care of the officiating by writing a ceremony that was everything you hoped it would be: people laughed, people cried, and it was truly everything we hoped it would be. My wife and I hadn't thought of a bartender - Rachal had a guy. And when most people say they "Got a guy," you don't always know how that's going to pan out. When Rachal "had a guy" man did she have a guy - he was professional, on top of his game, made our guests laugh, and handled their requests with ease. She handled that.
When we were asked about a speaker system or music, we did have it covered but Rachal offered to bring hers, as well. Man, did her sound system rock out! We ended up syncing her micrphone to the sound system and things worked wonderfully.
Rachal had a team that supported her (and us, by extension) in various ways during the ceremony and reception. They were professional, polite, and did not disappoint.
I would highly recommend Rachal for any service of any denomination (religious, interfaith, agnostic, atheist, etc).
All it takes is a short, simple phone call to see if she is the right one for you. Why not give it a shot? You won't regret it.Let's Do This Wedding Thing!'s reply:
Joe... wow! You blow me away in so many ways! Especially your choice in women to marry! You and Hannah feel like children of my own. Your ceremony was a complete collaboration of your ideas, your contribution enabled me to write one of the most eclectic, unlikely of ceremonies and in my mind, without arrogance, it was perfect! Perfect for the two of you and perfect for your day!
I choose the weddings I become a part of and I don't claim to have this great a picker! You were placed in my path for a reason. I got as much from your wedding as you did.
My "bartender guy" yes! He's incredible. He is a jewel in my lil crown and I will be sharing your comments with him. Whenever I say I have a "guy" it's because I find myself surrounded by good folks! You and Hannah, I'd say to anyone... "I have a couple"!

Rachal is one of a kind ✨
Rachal’s presence as an officiant (and so much beyond that) at our wedding was so natural and felt so familiar, I could never imagine this day without her. None of my family was able to attend the wedding and I really missed a motherly presence there. Rachal was so professional and so amazing at communicating and making me feel reassured all the way but we also connected so effortlessly and she officiated our wedding with so much love and dedication that she felt like family which was extra special to me.
I also found out afterwards that Rachal and Joe had an unpredictable personal situation happen on our wedding day which made it even more obvious to me what an amazing team they both make. Forever grateful to the two of themLet's Do This Wedding Thing!'s reply:

As a wedding professional with many years of experience, I've seen the good, bad and ugly of the industry. For that reason when I work encounter and work with a real professional I want to "share the good news!" It is clear from her attitude and attention to detail that Rachal and her team care about making the wedding experience every bit as special as it's meant to be. So in the beginning when my fiancee and I at the time were looking at officiants, we found Joe and Rachal on Thumbtack. We met with Rachal and talked about how we would want our ceremony to go, since we were just looking for an officiant at the time. Our original wedding date was set for August 8, 2020 then Covid hit. We decided to call off that specific date and try rescheduling for July 2021. Later in August we decided we couldn't wait that long to be married so we asked Rachal to perform a small ceremony for us in October and we wanted to share it with our small intimate family in person with our other guests on Zoom, so she said she could do the zoom call and have an assistant take some pictures that would just cost another $70.00 on top of our original $200.00 officiant cost. Wedding day comes around (October 17) and she arrives a bit late with her assistant and they set a few things up and put the laptop on a table for the zoom call. I was about to get my dress on when things were getting hectic and I was a bit panicky and felt a little helpless, trying to get some assistance with this Zoom setup. Here's the part that should have been fixed: the assistant assumed the hotspot would be able to handle the Zoom call but according to our guests, no one was able to hear anything, the video was cutting off and on and there were many frozen parts on the call. The officiating and the ceremony went very well but I am sad to know that my guests didn't get the better quality of the call they deserved. We could have provided them the wifi and helped them, but we figured they were the professionals, they probably know what they're doing. Anyways, we took a few pictures with family and the assistant and assumed we would receive the pictures in a short time. Rachal and the assistant had to leave early due to some personal issues and thankfully my mother was able to get the marriage license signed before they left. The marriage license was delivered in accordance with Rachal's tracking information she provided me. Unfortunately at this time I am STILL waiting on a reply about my pictures, even though she told me she would send them to me on October 21. It is now November 8. I have tried many many times to reach out to her about my pictures with no response since October 20, when she told me she would give them to us via text. I really hope they are not blowing me off as I would be very saddened and disappointed in remembering our officiant in this way. I’m just now seeing your review Brenna. I’m very sorry that you feel the way you do. Zoom ceremonies were not something we’d done before. You and I discussed that and I told you we’d do our best. We did our best but unfortunately we overpromised and under-delivered. Your photos were sent to you, there was no charge for us to take them.
That particular employee is no longer with us because she has indicated that she could absolutely handle the zoom aspect of the ceremony. No excuses, just letting you know. 2020 was a terrible year and you did have a lovely wedding.
I haven’t been on thumbtack in years. You were invoiced on our old pricing before I incorporated. A ceremony officiation begins at $350 since we organized in Sept 2019. I mention this for no other reason than to not appear unreasonably priced to anyone reading your review.
I hope sincerely that you and Logan are doing extremely well! Again, my deepest apologies. We do not offer zoom at all so we did learn from your wedding. Professional photographers handle that at a considerable price. I do thank you for taking time to find your honest feedback. Stay safe and sane and enjoy married life. It was my pleasure marrying the two of you!
