We were so happy to find Brittany and the work she did for us was stunning. We had been working with another company and ended up being unhappy with their final design for our invitations. Brittany was so sweet in helping us create something that was much more in line with our vision on a very short timeline. She was easy to communicate with and prompt in her mock-ups and changes until it was just right. She also squeezed us into her schedule for the day of signage. We can't thank her enough for all she did for us! -

Our signs that Brittany created pulled our entire look together in a way I did not expect, but will never forget! The whole experience with Brittany was fantastic- from quotes, to adjustments, to mock ups- and the final product completely blew me away. Truly, they added a level of "me" to the whole look of our wedding that I can't imagine not having.
Brittany has an ever-growing plethora of materials and ideas. My best advice is follow Letters and Dust on social media- you will see her creative process. I was able to watch her grow as an artist in real time over months, and when it was my turn to make decisions, I asked her to play. I knew I wanted some specifics, like colors and vibe, but giving her some freedom delivered me stunning results that may not have happened if I had told her what to do on each aspect. We ended up with impeccable vinyl work on this delicious smoked acrylic, plus our hand-drawn pup portraits for specialty cocktails.
Trust Brittany. Do the signage. I'm so glad I did! -

Brittany is the best!! She was very easy to work with, super responsive and made sure we got exactly what we wanted. Her work is gorgeous, I absolutely loved the look of our signs and the chalkboard art she did on-site. We wanted a keepsake sign and chose the cocktail sign to keep, it looks beautiful in our home and is a fun reminder of the day. It was super easy to return the rest of the signs that we rented and I love that she can re-use the materials! Hire Letters & Dust, you won't regret it. Thank you, Brittany! -

Hire Brittany today -- her work is QUALITY. Like, "post it on Instagram and make everyone gawk at how gorgeous it is" quality. We booked her to create our custom invitations because those kind of tiny details mattered for us... then COVID happened. No more need to make a huge suite for us. But she still did custom work for us! She made us a Bob's Burgers themed "change the date" -- because we were getting married on 9/3/2020 -- and then she made us a livestream handlettered invitation for everyone to watch our livestream (because we decided to elope on 9/3/2020 and have the big event later). And she did our signs for our wedding too! Gorgeous work, prompt responses, and she makes your ideas come to life. -

Working with Letters & Dust was a dream. We struggled for months trying to find the right invitations, nothing was working and everything was SO expensive. Then we met Brittany, and she saved the wedding lol. We are still obsessed with our invitation design, we had her do all of our event signs, I threw in last second projects, and she handled everything timely, with grace, and the execution was truly perfect. Have already recommended her to everyone for everything she does... and will continue to!! -

We wanted a sign for our event and said just have it with tacos and private party. The sign blew my mind with how epic it was! Also the mirrors were hand lettered by Brittney which were perfect. I loved everything she did. She has amazing customer service and is truly an expert! -

She was so easy to work with and helped guide my fiance and I to what we wanted (we had no idea when we started). Brittany was also very quick to respond whenever I emailed her with questions. We were also able to keep our welcome sign which now hangs up in our house and we love it. I highly, highly recommend!

Brittany is incredibly easy to work with, super-efficient and an excellent communicator! We were not worried about our wedding signage at all in the days leading up to the wedding because of Brittany’s reputation for consistently producing beautiful, hand-crafted pieces. Our wedding was 7/9/2022 and we ended up requesting various vinyl on acrylic signs with specific fonts. Brittany was happy to accommodate and assured us that the fonts would match the rest of our wedding day paper-goods. She also was willing to design on some personal items (mirror, picture frame) and did custom drawings for signs displayed at the wedding. They were incredible and helped with the overall flow + aesthetic of the day. We highly recommend Letters and Dust to anyone in need of signage for gatherings/celebrations! Brittany’s the best in the business and makes the process seamless for clients. -

Brittany from Letters and Dust is immensely talented and she created a few signs and drew on a few chalkboards for our wedding at Langdon Farms in May 2019. Her artwork was stunning and it was the perfect touch to our happy day. Highly recommend her if you are able to afford a calligrapher / chalkboard artist! -

Brittany did an amazing job creating really cool acrylic signs that I framed for our wedding. They turned out perfect and we received so many compliments! Especially on our personalized signature cocktail sign - the drinks she drew looked just like the drinks that were served! My only slight complaint would be that Brittany was not the most responsive and I received my signs the week of my wedding. Looking back, I think she has a schedule and is on top of it, but as a bride, it was a little stressful worrying if I was going to get my signs. Overall, would recommend! The signs are super cool and unlike anything else I've seen at other weddings. -

It’s very upsetting to have to leave a review like this, because it seems like a lot of people had a wonderful experience with her, but unfortunately that was not the case for us. I’m not sure why, but it seemed as if she over booked herself & didn’t have the time or attention to give to our day. I never thought I’d have to try so hard to get in touch with a vendor. She went weeks without responding & I would message her numerous times before a response, refused to talk on the phone, provided horrible work, did not follow or try to understand what we wanted, provided the wrong signage (mix match on signage & easels) that were damaged, & came dirty because she left the signs outside on the day her yard people came. So many things went wrong, & then refused to fix it for our wedding day because “she didn’t have the time”. Signage is one of the very first things you see when walking into a wedding, & because of her poor work it completely ruined the entry to our day. It’s very upsetting when you spend years planning your day & putting in so much effort to then have it turn out the complete opposite of what you envisioned, because of poor communication or lack there of. This is probably one of the absolute worst experiences I’ve ever had. I would Not recommend to anybody.Letters And Dust's reply:
Hello Carlie, I do feel like our working relationship did not go smoothly, I accept my part in that. I feel like I should’ve asked for more clarification from you. For the bridal shower signs, I was working on a short timeline to get them for you as they weren’t in the original order, and yes the yard crew got them dirty, however acrylic does wipe clean—it attracts all the dust and dirt in the world so having to wipe them is common. For your wedding signs, I included in the proposal, as well as the digital mock ups the sizing and stands I’d be using, then when you picked up you decided they were not large enough. It was never mentioned to me that you wanted a five foot tall bar sign. The other issue here is that the way the signs were transported was not very mindful—I saw the way they were packed when your mom brought them back and also when I volunteered to be on site for your wedding day to fix any issues. The person bringing them had them crammed in with metal trays/ wood boxes and yes the vinyl is going to get scratched when they are transported like that and the acrylic itself as it is plastic.
I had already received your info late in the week to get your signs done, so being asked to essentially stay awake for another 24 hours to “fix” issues that should’ve been caught sooner (the sizing) was just not feasible, and again, that was noted in multiple places.
I am sad you weren’t happy, and like I said I know this could’ve been a smoother process. But I have the same policies for all my clients, and have never had this issue. From being on site, the decor and signs looked great, I also helped move your ceremony aisle because your planner was overwhelmed and the rental company set it in the wrong location. I do feel I went over and above to try to fix the issues you had, but I also understand that it’s reasonable you don’t feel that way. It wasn’t a good fit, and I do feel like I’ve learned more questions to ask from it. From the photos I’ve seen it looked like an amazing and fun wedding, so overall I hope you had a wonderful wedding day. -
