We just got married a couple of weeks ago in January and were lucky enough to find the Library Hotel in our venue search. Our wedding had 25 guests and was the most wonderful intimate wedding on their enclosed rooftop 14th floor area. The Poetry Garden was the perfect ceremony location with beautiful outdoor views and gorgeous lighting, while the Writer's Den was wonderful for our reception, right on the same floor with a long single table set up, enough room to dance, and was a beautiful space to begin with so we didn't need to do much to decorate. Margo was a dream to work with, always communicative and so helpful on the day of. No need to hire a DOC here -- Margo went above and beyond to help us set up, handle delivery with vendors, pass on our tips, coordinate our music timing, etc. The waitstaff and bar team were absolutely amazing, and the lead bartender was very knowledgeable, friendly and approachable. The rooms at the hotel were gorgeous and the staff left us presents in the form of chocolate and champagne on our wedding day. The outdoor patio was available for us to take pictures in the middle of the winter while it was snowing and you can see the New York Public Library from there. I highly recommend this space for anyone looking for an intimate wedding venue wiith catering and bar provided in-house. We visited a few other venues and none compared.

From wedding planning to making all that into real life, Margo and the team did an exceptional job and the team was very professional in everything. All my guests enjoyed the day with food/service. Location is great to get amazing photos as it’s close to the Bryant park, beautiful view with empire state building, NYPL, Grand central terminal.

It couldn’t think of a better place to have a wedding ceremony! The service , the dedication and the attention to detail have made our day magical . They have made me feel relax and amazing . I truly love our ceremony venue, and cannot wait to return to NYC just to enjoy the beauty of this classy boutique hotel without the worries of keeping track of wedding plans. The outdoor terrace at The Library Hotel is breathtaking, and was the perfect location for our intimate ceremony of 45 people (I would not recommend exceeding this number). It was classy yet casual, the view was gorgeous, it's accessible to many hotels in midtown, and conveniently located minutes from Bryant Park, which happens to be a favorite of mine. Words CANNOT DESCRIBE the exceptional staff, starting with the events coordinator, Jayla, who helped me in more ways than I thought possible. She is professional, flexible, and by the end of our brief planning period, I truly felt like I had made a friend in the process of planning this most important day. She handled all aspects of the day, dealt with last minute changes, kept the guests happy and the champagne flowing, and we are both so thankful we were able to work with someone so understanding and personable. If you are planning a wedding where you want to capture the emotions and keep it intimate, I highly recommend this venue.
