We had our wedding at the Lied Lodge at the end of September, and we had the most amazing experience. Patti and Rachel were so helpful during the planning process and the day of the event. Rachel met with us multiple times before the wedding to make sure we had all the details selected and planned. She was also very quick to answer all of our questions during the months leading up to the wedding. It was so great to not have any worries about our venue. She and Patti then made sure everything we had planned was perfectly implemented during our wedding. They were truly a joy to work with.

Really the entire Lied Lodge team was spectacular. The beverage director, Sara, was so fun and made selecting our signature drink one of our favorite parts of the planning process. During our wedding, the banquet staff made sure that we had everything we needed. Everyone received their food very quickly and things seemed to run seamlessly. Chef Grainger was also incredible. Many of our guests told us that the food was the best they’ve ever had at a wedding. Even our wedding photographer commented on how good it was.

We also had quite a few guests from out of town and everyone seemed to really enjoy staying at the hotel and enjoying all of the activities Arbor Day Farm has to offer. And the beauty of the property speaks for itself. The Lied really offers a one-of-a-kind wedding experience. We feel so lucky to have had our wedding at such a wonderful place with such an outstanding team.

If you want a beautiful background, 5 star service, and one place to host all your events leading up to the big day, the Lied Lodge is where you want to get married! It was the most magical experience of my life!

Our wedding venue was beyond beautiful and we everything I dreamed of! The staff at the Lied Lodge made planning a breeze! From the decorations to the food, to the napkins, the wedding coordinating staff at the Lodge helped us plan it all!

Patricia was amazing to work with. She is very dedicated to ensuring she gets to know you as a couple and coordinating a wedding with all your visions. Patricia's is extremely organized and timely which ensures that everything gets completed with no details left out. Thouroghout the planning process we were so thankful that we chose the Lied Lodge and working with Patricia as our coordinator!!!

Patricia Pierce and the staff at Lied Lodge Conference Center made our daughter's wedding a dream come true. It was a wonderful combination of professionalism and personal thoughtfulness. The Lied Lodge and their staff made our planning, set up, and wedding day so incredibly easy! Rachel and Patricia made sure we had everything we needed throughout the entire process and were extremely accommodating to any additional needs we had. The support staff (food, bar, set up) checked in with us frequently to make sure we had everything we needed and even helped us unload our trailer. These staff member really are a dream team and worked so hard to make our day perfect.

We had a wonderful experience at the lodge. If we had to do it all over again, we would definitely use the services again!!

We are so excited to have our wedding here. It is slightly more expensive, but totally worth it!

First of all, their event organizer Patty was a saint and made everything so easy! She was responsive, timely and well organized. The venue was beautiful and we had a fabulous weekend. The desk personnel were first rate and made everything go without a hitch. All the catered events had plentiful food that was very good and the waitstaff were organized and attentive. It runs on the expensive side by the time you pay for meals, rooms and event but everyone said it was the best time they had ever had! I would second that! Flexibility is 4 stars because you must use their catering and alcohol.
We only had a few minor things that were problems- all of which were either easily addressed or no big deal. Staff were readily available to help. Loved our whole experience.

The room was very disappointing, has low beams that will give you a concussion if your 6ft and taller. For the money it just was a mediocre room.

We had a unique situation so it's almost not fair for me to write a review but others will probably benefit from our story. The site and environment that the Lied Lodge creates is spectacular. The event space (in the Morton barns) is also a wonderful space. But it definitely comes at a price. And for that expensive price, the Lied Lodge doesn't do much. They literally provide the site and the decorator makes it beautiful. As far as professionalism, their wedding coordinator Patty was very professional and helpful prior to the wedding but oddly enough she did not actually attend our wedding to ensure everything went smoothly. Her assistant did attend but I would have preferred to speak with her the whole time regarding our wedding so she understood our preferences.
At our wedding we had a record hot day during the ceremony followed by a down pouring rainstorm at the reception. Consequently, the power went out. Half of our guest left because we were without power for two hours and our reception only lasted an hour because the photographers couldn't take pictures, the videographer couldn't see, and the DJ couldn't play music. It was a nightmare and I was in tears. No this was in no way, shape or form the Lodge's fault but you would thing when you have paid close to fifteen grand on a venue and food as well as provided them the business of over 80 rooms rented and 200 people knowing about their services now, you would have a back up generator for these types of things. Instead they wanted to end our reception (an hour into it) or send us to an empty ballroom in the lodge with no bar, no DJ, and no decorations. They did however call the power company to come fix it quickly and they called the wedding coordinator Patty who came down in her pajamas to help the situation. We sat without power for two hours. I hope by now they've gotten a generator or know how to handle these situations now. After the wedding, we got a thousand dollars back because of everything.
