    Best photographer

    Tara was beyond a delight to work with. I would recommend her again and again and again. She has a beautiful personality that resonates through her photography. The engagement shots she took were a dream and we can’t wait to see our wedding photos. Hire her!!

    I love Tara! Our portrait session was fun, laid back, and low-pressure. I'm a photographer too, and I was stressing about my dog misbehaving, and being sweaty, and running late, and all the other things you stress about when you're uncomfortable in front of the camera. But Tara made jokes, and waited every time I had to fix my hair, laughed when my fiancé put on the DUMBEST HAT EVER that he bought for our pictures (which made everyone laugh- love that man), loved on my dog when he was being a turd, and just generally made it feel like we were hanging out instead of getting our photos taken. She is professional, calm, and just a joy to work with. And her work is amazing too! That's the whole point right? :)

    Tara was incredibly professional. She was punctual, gave great direction, and captured the very essence of the occasion perfectly. We have had nothing but positive response and feedback from family and friends. Her product and her service is worth every penny!

    We are so grateful to have found Tara and The Light Company for our recent destination wedding in Austin. We selected Tara for her photography style and were excited to have a wedding day without the pressure of too many posed photos (although she was more than happy to take the posed ones that were important to us). We met Tara for the first time on our wedding weekend and did a couples shoot the night before the wedding. She was super kind and easy to chat with. I could not be happier with the gorgeous photos we received. In addition to taking beautiful pictures, Tara was also professional and communicative throughout the entire process. Our wedding photos captured us as a couple perfectly. We are so happy to have chosen The Light Company!

    My husband and I hired The Light Company for our engagement and wedding reception photography, and we were blown away. We absolutely LOVE the images from both photo packages.

    Working with Tara was such a breeze. She responded to my initial request so quickly, and from there we set up a call to go over their pricing and to set up the dates/ times for our sessions. Tara has such a calming presence, and she captured the most natural looking, amazing portraits of us during our engagement session. We could have been standing in front of a dumpster and she would find a way to capture the lighting and energy beautifully. During our reception she moved seamlessly through the crowd getting shots of every moment that we missed, and we had the full package of photos in just a matter of weeks.

    I can't wait to share the photos with everyone, and just can't recommend them highly enough. Affordable, fun, professional, and incredible images that let us re-live our special day. THE BEST!

    Blanton and Tara were wonderful. Blanton photographed our wedding the day before Tara gave birth to their first born. He was completely professional, fun, and never distracted. He found creative ways to work around the weather since it rained. They worked within our budget and the pictures came out perfect. I would highly recommend them.
