  Ease, Grace, and Cool Confidence

  Lina has this way of making the most crazy situations feel like a walk in the park. I work at a wedding venue, so I've seen some planners ungracefully coordinate. But Lina does it with ease, plenty of grace, and an air of cool confidence. That is the kind of person you want heading up your special day, 100%.

  I cannot say enough good things about Jaime with Lina Hoekman Events! She was so helpful our entire wedding and made everything run smoothly. I was stress free the morning of and didn’t have to worry about a thing. She literally saved the day when my husbands pants ripped 5 minutes before our first look. I couldn’t imagine not having her there, she was the biggest help and we are so grateful to have had such a great coordinator. My husband and I would highly recommend Jaime and this team to any future bride and groom!

  Wonderful Day of Coordinator!

  Lina Hokeman events was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding in October 2020. We worked with Shelby Yoder and it was such an amazing experience. She helped me keep organized through the whole planning process and was always available to answer my questions. She was on top of everything the day of and I didn't have to do a thing. The weather did not cooperate for our wedding day and Shelby was quick to get everything flipped around to the indoor venue so we could stay on time. She helped every piece transition flawlessly and made sure there was food and dessert set aside for us to be able to enjoy. Shelby kept the events moving on time while still allowing us time to sit and enjoy the moments. She was such a pleasure to work with, I absolutely 100% recommend this team for events.

  Hiring Ileen was one of the best things we did for this wedding! Not only is she an absolutely amazing person, she’s an extraordinary coordinator. We hired her as our wedding day manager, but we received so much more than just “day of” assistance. We had multiple meetings with her, and she helped us pick up last minute items, which freed us up to spend time with incoming friends and family. We also had quite a few logistics on our end, to make it easier for our guests, but Ileen handled all of it like the pro she is. She managed to get all of our guests onto the shuttles to go to and from the venue/lodging to the USAFA Chapel without issue, and no one was left behind. She also made sure that the entire wedding party was eating snacks and drinking plenty of fluids, and she made sure that all the parents were taken care of, too. She additionally took all of our décor and set it up for us, and then gathered it up at the end of the night, which was a huge relief for us as the couple, as well as our wedding party and family, because we could just enjoy the day and not worry about details. I have had so many compliments on how incredibly smoothly our wedding day went, and I know that our day would not have gone as flawlessly as it did without her help! I’d 100% recommend her to anyone! Do yourself a favor and book her now; you won’t regret it!

  Ileen was the most amazing wedding planner ever! She orchestrated all the details on my wedding day flawlessly and made everything run so smoothly. She is so sweet and so patient. Ileen literally worked magic and I can’t thank her enough for making it my dream day. Ileen was so organized and so great at problem solving. I can say as a bride that my wedding day was absolutely perfect thanks to her. I highly recommend Ileen to anyone, especially if you just want to sit back, relax and soak in every minute of your wedding day.

  Ilene and her assistant were wonderful! I used her for weekend coordination as I had planned most of it myself. I gave her everything I had put together and she executed it all perfectly. She made my day a breeze. I did not have to worry about anything as she took care of it all. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone.

We began our planning only 6 months from the date of the wedding and she met with us at least twice via skype so that we could give her our vision of the day and also ask for help with the remaining timeline. We had trouble finding a florist and cake maker that was available and she made recommendations that turned out to be fabulous. She made a trip with us up into Grand Lake to meet with the caterer, give input on the menu, and then visit the venue so that she had a clear idea of where all of the vendors would set up the day of the wedding. She was in Grand Lake the day before for our rehearsal and was up bright and early the day of the wedding to coordinate the arrival of all of the vendors and make sure that everything was in place. It was a beautiful day and an epic party. Ileen was there just as she promised and made the day very stress free (as much as could be expected). We are a lesbian couple and she was very accepting of our commitment from the start and very supportive of our union.

The planning during the months prior to the wedding aided in reducing our stress and helped our special day become magical.   Ileen hoekman was a godsend. Whether she is aware or not, she performed miracles in a matter of days. She changed our reality with one random message through Facebook. The life altering happiness she gave us is indescribable and we will be forever grateful. She truly is amazing.

  The only shortcoming was the response time setting everything up. It took a couple days to get a reply back, but I do understand that my planner is extremely busy with other people as well. Everything else was above and beyond what I could have asked for. The setup was amazing, and the flexibility of everything was really nice. All in all I was very satisfied with the proposal setup.
