I don't have enough words or time to express our LOVE for Lindsey and all that she did for us on our wedding day and beyond. I've known Lindsey for a few years from working in the wedding industry together (we are both photographers). I've looked up to her professionally for years, so to get to work with her on my wedding day was a dream come true. It is no coincidence, that I picked Lindsey to be my photographer after seeing and working with HUNDREDS.
Lindsey runs her business seamlessly, with everything thought of. Her emails are prompt, her expectations are clear. As a bride and a photographer, I never felt like I had to express my needs or what I wanted, because she just innately understood.
Our engagement photoshoot was so much fun, and getting to have my fiance meet Lindsey for the first time was amazing. He instantly felt comfortable (and for someone who isn't comfortable in front of the camera, this is a huge deal). On wedding day, Lindsey was in high spirits, more than on time, and you could just see her creative wheels turning all day. From impeccable detail styling, to working seamlessly with all of our vendors, Lindsey really brought together the vision I had in mind for our day.
We were BLOWN away by our sneak peek gallery which we received in 24 hours. It was the most magical experience to open that gallery and see the best, most fleeting moments of our lives captured so beautifully. Her craftsmanship is like no other- she understands light in a way that sets her apart. Her editing is crisp, elegant, and the colors are even more beautiful. Her work is the absolute best quality out there.
Lindsey, we're already friends but we are just forever grateful for everything you did for us and our family on our wedding day. These photos are our newest prized possession. -

To say that we loved working with Lindsey would be an understatement. From the minute she quickly returned our first email, we knew we wanted to hire her and we’re so happy we did!! Our booking process was so easy and Lindsey provided some really helpful tips and tricks for everything leading up to our wedding day. We were very excited for our engagement shoot, but it being our first formal photo session, we were mildly anxious for it as well. Those anxious nerves quickly turned to pure excitement and confidence as Lindsey gassed us up for 2 straight hours and our pictures turned out beautiful! Not only did we love our pictures, we walked away from our engagement session with such a genuine connection with Lindsey and truly couldn’t wait for her to capture our wedding. On our wedding day, Lindsey was prepared, calm, organized, warm and at the ready to pump up the entire wedding party all day. She is the perfect combination of director, stylist, right hand-person, photographer, and friend. She shared in so much joy with us - she was giddy with excitement and fun to be around the entire day all the way to our glow-stick send off, where she rallied all of our guests to close out our day. When we saw our preview pictures shortly after our wedding, we were blown away. Lindsey perfectly captured both of us and there is not a bad photo in the bunch - we find a new favorite every day and this is only the preview!! Lindsey is so talented, fun, a genuinely good person and the best addition to our wedding day, hands down. We truly could not be happier to have Lindsey as our photographer and can’t recommend her enough!! -

Booking Lindsey was EASILY the best decision my husband and I could have made in our wedding planning process! Our top priority for our wedding day was booking an amazing photographer and we most definitely got that! Lindsey is extremely organized, detail oriented, creative, kind, and not to mention.. FUN! She has such a bubbly personality and infectious energy that made us both feel at ease especially since engagement and wedding photos can be overwhelming. She is exactly the person you want to have around on your wedding day to capture all of your favorite moments that you will cherish forever. She sent us our sneak peek photos within a day and we were blown away!! Once they all came in, there were SO many beautiful photos to look through and they were ALL just so stunning. She is a true professional with a whole lot of talent. We cannot recommend Lindsey enough! -

In short: hiring Lindsey was THE SINGLE BEST DECISION we made that day. Hands down. HIRE HER for beautiful, timeless, and magical images, and also the most amazing hype person to have on your wedding.
In longer form: Lindsey was nothing short of absolutely incredible. We booked Lindsey to take “Day Before” photos that included basically everything except a ceremony and a reception and she was game right away. It wasn’t until later I realized what a challenge I had posed for her: I was more than two hours away, in a city she wasn’t super familiar shooting in (DC), asking her to shoot doing a walking tour of the city with all 14 people in tow, and to top it off, we didn’t have any other vendors for her to work with. Lindsey saved the day in so many ways. She’s what made our day move along and she was a constant source of both energy and calm at the same time – and I mean it – that’s a feat! She kept her cool when I was running more than an hour behind due to a failed hair appointment at the salon – wasn’t even at the hotel when she arrived. She encouraged me when I was scrambling to do my own makeup after a last-minute cancellation, crushed it with our First Look and made changes to the schedule on the fly, not letting any panic show when our family photos devolved into a circus, and I had challenged her to take individual portraits of every single person in the wedding party. Her support and enthusiasm gave me the burst of energy I needed to push through to the final sunset photos at the Lincoln Memorial when I was really ready to just call it a day and sit down. And I haven’t even gotten to the photos yet!!!! THEY ARE INCREDIBLE! She got sooo many fabulous photos of us. . I mean look at them – she can do it ALL! She delivered us a sneak peek almost immediately, and put me at such ease that my chaotic Day Before the day was still going to leave me with beautiful images to pass down. I literally cannot recommend her enough.

Words cannot express how skilled and amazing Lindsey is as a wedding photographer. She is worth EVERY penny and we are SO thankful that we chose her for our wedding!! Not only is Lindsey the sweetest kindest person (who will help in any way at your wedding) but she's simply the best at what she does. We are seriously the most unphotogenic people, but Lindsey knows exactly how to tell you to stand, look, place your body, etc to make every single picture look like it came out of a bridal magazine... That only comes with a rare combination of both natural talent and many many years of experience. I could not recommend her enough, there's a reason she has a perfect rating everywhere! Both our families and vendors raved about her as well... no surprises there. Thank you Lindsey for making our day go so perfectly and creating such amazing photos from it! -

This is my second review for Lindsey Ford, and I still have nothing but incredible things to say about her. She is kind, professional, responsive, supportive, flexible, understanding, thoughtful, and so talented. From the moment we met her on a video call, we knew that she was going to be not only a great vendor, but an even greater friend. She truly cares about each and every one of the couples that she works with. It’s not about the money with her. We had to postpone our wedding twice, and she was reassuring through every change we made. When we decided to postpone our originally planned big wedding and have a very small wedding during the pandemic, she photographed our small wedding for free. We finally got to have our big wedding, and once again, Lindsey came through like a total pro! She knew all of the names of our party members and family members, and she made everyone—including ourselves—feel comfortable and have fun every step of the way. Having Lindsey at your wedding is like having your own fairy godmother. She’s ready to help out with anything and everything, even if it’s not related to taking pictures. She helped us not worry at all so that we could take in and completely enjoy our day. And of course, our photos are jaw-dropping! We still can’t get over how beautiful they are. Our friends and family have gushed over our photos. The only sad part about having our wedding is not getting to work with Lindsey anymore. She made the last three years (yes, THREE) of wedding planning less stressful, and we’ve loved getting to know her. The best decision you can make for your wedding is to hire Lindsey! -

Wedding planning can be stressful and difficult, but hiring Lindsey Ford as our photographer was the easiest and best decision we made. I am convinced that she is a goddess or a fairy godmother because I don't know how someone can be as talented, kind, and caring as her. We first met with Lindsey Ford at the beginning of 2019 to see if she was available for our wedding in June 2020. Thankfully, she was, but she was a little bit out of our price-point. We contacted a few other photographers to try to stay within our budget, but we ultimately decided that our wedding photos were something that we were comfortable splurging on since we would have those photos to look at for the rest of our lives. The decision also came down to a couple of things: 1. Lindsey's photos are SO magical and breath-taking. We couldn't find any other photographers within our budget who could produce the level of quality that Lindsey can. With Lindsey, you are 100% getting your money's worth (and then some). 2. Lindsey is so easy to talk to, and she is full of so much information. When we had our first meeting with her, we felt more at ease than we had with any other wedding vendor we had met. She is incredibly friendly, and you can tell that she just wants everyone to be happy and to feel comfortable being themselves. 3. She is very responsive. Most of the time, she would respond to my emails within the hour that I sent them, even if I sent them at a weird time of day. I don't know anyone, in the wedding industry or not, who's that responsive. An example: a few days before our wedding, we found out it was going to rain. Our photos were going to be outside, so I frantically emailed Lindsey to see if she had any advice. She responded 18 minutes later with helpful tips and reassurance that everything would turn out perfectly. And she was right - everything turned out perfectly even with the rain. 4. She is SUPER flexible. It first started with us wanting two separate engagement photo sessions since we wanted some pictures in the winter and some pictures in the fall. She didn't flinch at all at this. In fact, she encouraged us to do what we wanted and seemed excited to take pictures of us in the snow. The winter session was deemed our "mini" session, and we did not pay much at all for it. However, it didn't feel "mini" at all since we got back hundreds of beautiful photos. She also made us feel so comfortable the entire time that she took photos of us. We never once felt awkward or uncomfortable, if anything we felt happy, romantic, and silly the whole time. We never expected getting our photos taken to be so much fun, but Lindsey made that happen. And you can tell from the way we look in our photos that we're genuinely happy. She really can capture genuine love and happiness. Fast forward about a year, and we had to change our wedding plans due to COVID-19. Lindsey was extremely patient with us as we postponed our wedding not just once...but twice. Our end result was a small, intimate wedding in December 2020, and we will be having our originally planned big wedding in 2021. Before we even came to that decision, Lindsey had already offered to move to our new date at no extra charge, and she even offered to photograph our intimate wedding for free. Like, what? After all of the stress and tears and craziness we had been through from changing our wedding so much, that act of kindness from Lindsey meant so much to us, especially considering that her business--like all other wedding vendors--was negatively impacted by the pandemic. And guess what? The photos she took of us on the day of our intimate wedding are INSANE. They are heart-stopping, magical, dreamy, romantic, and genuine - everything we wanted in our wedding photos and more. Plus, she gave us our preview gallery the day after our wedding (yes, THAT quick of a turnaround), and there were at least a hundred photos in that preview gallery. I didn't think I'd care that much about how long it took for our photos to be ready, but being able to enjoy our photos while we were on our honeymoon was really something else. I don't think I could have waited much longer to see our photos. And she finished up our entire gallery only 20 days after our wedding (on Christmas Eve - best Christmas present ever). Now, time for the best part about hiring Lindsey: She was a god-send on the day of our intimate wedding. Like, literally heaven on earth. I was very stressed out and anxious the morning of the wedding, and I was so worried that I would forget something or that something would go wrong. But Lindsey helped me relax and feel comfortable. I was particularly stressed out right before our first look since I was running a little late, but Lindsey was super calm and collected and kept telling me it wasn't a big deal. Was it actually a big deal? I have no idea, but what I do know is that Lindsey is amazingly good at getting rid of all of your worries while doing everything she can to adjust and stay on schedule. When it comes down to it, the best thing you can have on your wedding day is peace of mind so that you can actually enjoy your day (and so that you can look genuinely happy and not stressed out at all in your photos)! Lindsey can, and will, ensure that you have that on your wedding day. I highly recommend hiring Lindsey Ford to be your photographer. Do not look any further for your wedding photographer! Not only is Lindsey an AMAZING photographer, she is definitely someone you’ll want to hang out with all day on your wedding day. It’s hard to put into words how wonderful Lindsey is - both on the inside and out. Because of Covid, my husband and I had to push our big wedding celebration from November 2020 until November 2021. We still wanted to get married though in 2020 and had a micro-wedding with just a few family members. Lindsey, out of the goodness of her heart, agreed to shoot both our micro-wedding AND our wedding celebration in 2021. She truly is an angel (and a hell of a photographer!). From our engagement photos to our micro-wedding and then finally to our wedding celebration, we thoroughly enjoyed our time with Lindsey and are SO grateful for the precious memories she was able to capture. She makes you feel like models in front of the camera and is so enthusiastic from start to finish. **MARRIED ON SEPTEMBER 5th 2020** YOU MUST CHOOSE LINDSEY!! Do not look any further, seriously!!!!! She is so professional, friendly, and you will have THE MOST magical photos ever. I cannot believe how amazing my engagement session and (so far) my wedding photos have turned out! When I got my full gallery for my engagement photos (only 1 week later), there was not one photo I did not like! For my wedding day, she was again AMAZING! All my guests loved meeting her and could not stop talking about how friendly and fun she was! I received a preview gallery of about 50-100 wedding photos from Lindsey 18 hours after our wedding ended - WOW! My husband and I are people who are usually uncomfortable being people showing "public displays of affection", however, Lindsey made us feel so comfortable and I am still in awe that these photos are photos of my husband and me! Again, I cannot recommend Lindsey enough and hope you choose her for your special day!!! -

My husband and I planned our wedding almost two years ago for July 18th, 2020. With so much doubt and uncertainty if our day was going to happened as planned we felt at ease knowing we had the sweetest photographer. Lindsey was so delightful and beyond helpful when it came time to discuss a backup date and plans. She was there to help no matter what! With less than 48 hours notice, Gov. Wolf placed a restriction on indoor gatherings so we were forced to move our wedding outdoors. Lindsey was so easygoing and didn’t question our decision once. She even made it a point to let us know she thinks this outdoor wedding was going to be even more beautiful than originally planned. Well, our wedding day finally happened and we can’t stop looking at our photos. What a beautiful job she did and we are so grateful to have these memories captured forever. EVERYONE has complimented Lindsey’s skills and wants to book her for their events! Our guests had such a blast with her and could not compliment her professionalism and friendly demeanor enough. If we had to do it all over again - we would work with Lindsey Ford every time! -

Just stop looking at other photographers. Lindsey is the best! I was so nervous during our engagement pictures - stand here, look like this, put your arm here... ugghhh... but it was FUN! I actually couldn't wait to have her at the wedding! Have you ever had your photographer squeal because she just knows that she took the most amazing picture? You need to experience it.
- I heard from SO many guests about how much fun she and her second photographer were. They were creative and easy and funny... and blended right in. I actually don't really remember them being around, but they were because the photos... ohhhhh... the beauty of these pictures.
- AND WE HAD OUR PREVIEW AT BREAKFAST THE NEXT MORNING. Yes, seriously.... I'm eating breakfast with the family and ding... your previews are available. And they are gorgeous. Girlfriend must not sleep... I can't wait to see the rest of them.
- And the pictures are yours. All of them. She edits and makes them beautiful and then they are yours - to make big giant canvas pictures out of, or post on facebook or print at the store.
You won't regret booking Lindsey for your wedding. I actually invited her to just follow me around and make me feel amazing... she is kind and funny and thoughtful and takes the most amazing photos. -

Want the BEST Photos and Experience? Book Lindsey!
When looking for a wedding photographer, look no further than Lindsey! Working with her was one of the best and easiest decisions that my husband and I made throughout our entire planning process. Lindsey is insanely talented at what she does. She helps you feel totally normal and yourself in front of the camera, and finds the most incredible lighting anywhere you go, making you look like a stunning/glowy/ angel bride at all times!
Besides her incredible photos and skills, she is also an amazingly cool person- on your wedding day you want to be surrounded by calm, happy, people, and Lindsey fits the bill on all counts.
As a not-so-organized bride, Lindsey was beyond helpful when it came to planning timelines and check lists to make sure the our wedding day ran smoothly. She provides so many resources throughout the planning process, it really keeps things simple so it doesn't feel overwhelming. On the day of our wedding, she arrived early and ready to go. Any time I had a question or last minute photo request, she was right there and on top of things before I even finished my question. She got our preview album to us the next day (which had SO many photos)! And I cried like a baby looking through them- something I 1000% did not expect to feel about photos. Lindsey captured so many special moments and looks between by husband and I, it’s been amazing reliving the day through her lens.
We’ve had so many compliments on our photos and my mom even asked if she could adopt Lindsey she loved her so much (offer still stands if you’re reading this, Lindsey!) I could go on and on about how wonderful it is to work with Lindsey, I guarantee you will not regret it when you do! She is the BEST! -

Whitney Sent on 07/02/2016After contacting Studio V to potentially work with Paul (whom I had worked with on a shoot previously), my husband and I were connected with Lindsey, who was available for our date in April. What a blessing. This woman has the professionalism of a seasoned photographer, the eye of an artist, and the patience of a saint to work with my bridal party and family (and me, a bride with particular tastes!). Lindsey is nothing short of gracious, kind, and an excellent photographer. I honestly cannot recommend her highly enough - her flexibility, positive attitude, and vision make her one of the best photographers I've ever had the pleasure of working with, and I fully plan to continue to utilize her for my upcoming "big days" in the future - I honestly trust her that much. My family, friends, and husband were nothing short of impressed with her work (her use of lighting, angles, and creative spin are excellent), and the same-day and next-day galleries that were a part of our package were wonderful additions for us and for our guests. She also worked quite well with her assistant Megan to ensure we had ample shots (and video coverage!) of our cocktail hour and reception while the bridal party was being photographed. Light videography was just what we wanted, especially the capture of our ceremony and the homily delivered by our wonderful family friend and pastor. I have received so many compliments on the quality and beauty of our photos, and couldn't be more pleased that our day was captured so perfectly. If you're shopping for someone with taste, talent, and professionalism, you absolutely cannot go wrong with Lindsey Ford!
