  Absolutely Amazing Makeup Artist!

  Michelle is a dream to work with!! She is so talented and just an absolute gem of a person. She is so kind and brings a bright and bubbly energy wherever she goes!
  
  My wedding day makeup came out incredible! All of my family and bridesmaids absolutely LOVED their makeup! Michelle is truly a professional with great advice on your makeup. We had a great trial together, and I let her know how my makeup lasted throughout the day. On my wedding day, she made the adjustments and my makeup stayed perfect ALL NIGHT LONG! She really listened, which I loved.
  
  She is very responsive with great communication. She is also super flexible which made my wedding day so easy. Her pricing is very fair for her quality of work.
  
  I cannot highly recommend Michelle and her team enough!! She made myself and my bridesmaids feel absolutely beautiful.

  Michelle is an absolute artist! I was stunned by her work at my wedding trial, and somehow was even happier on my wedding day (Estancia La Jolla, July 2018). I have been in 12 bridal parties, and can objectively say that the makeup for my bridal party was the best I’ve ever seen (my bridesmaids wholeheartedly agreed, and could not stop talking about it). I found her price point to be very reasonable given her immense talent. Cannot recommend her services enough. On top of her amazing artistry, she is also a fun person to hang out with and chat with on the big day  THANK YOU, Michelle!

  Michelle did an amazing job for our wedding!!! She did my bridal trial as well as makeup for 7 of us on the wedding day (bride, three bridesmaids, mother-of-bride / mother-of-groom and sister-in-law). I was amazed at how efficiently she was able to do all of us without rushing, and everyone looked absolutely beautiful. She was also really willing to do whatever style of makeup we wanted, and no one looked overdone. As a bonus, we all had a TON of fun getting ready with her on the day, and her pricing was really reasonable. Would definitely recommend Lipstick & Luster to anyone looking for wedding makeup!

  Michelle is amazing!! She did an amazing job with the make-up for my entire wedding party!! She is so much fun (& hilarious) so she was a great addition to our getting ready party! She was even totally cool with it when I changed from 5 to 9 girls after I'd booked her.
  
  Everyone was thrilled with their make-up! She came to my house and did my bridesmaids, mom, mother-in-law & sister-in-law's make-up and everyone LOVED how they looked! She did something different for each girl that looked great with their coloring & was a little bit unique. She did a bit more neutral look for the moms (that is what they requested) & they both looked very classy. All our make-up lasted long into the night through 90 degree weather, dancing, drinking & sweating. My mother-in-law still had her lashes looking perfect at brunch the next day.
  
  If she's available for your day - BOOK HER! You will be thrilled with the results! I went from thinking I might do my own make-up to being so grateful Michelle was there to make sure I looked fantastic in the photos. SHE IS WONDERFUL!

  Let's just say that she took a break from the makeup for a minute to dance with me (the bride) to Beyonce.
  
  We couldn't have had more fun than we did with Michelle. She made us all laugh so hard. She made every girl feel so comfortable in her own skin, listened to every suggestion or concern, and we all ended up looking gorgeous. I felt like me, but SPECIAL. My makeup was not overdone or caked on. Plus she gave me eyebrows! Dark, shapely, accentuated eyebrows!

  Michelle was SO FUN! Both my consultation and day-of services were not only GORGEOUS and exactly what I was looking for, but Michelle was hilarious and so fun to have around while my bridesmaids and I got ready. She really fit in and made getting ready so fun and carefree. She also stayed through some of our photos and did touch-ups for me before the ceremony. She was so sweet and helpful - I could really tell that she took pride in how I felt on my special day and made it her mission to make sure I was comfortable and beautiful!

  Michelle Gilmore is amazing! I had tried several makeup artists around the San Diego area, trying to find someone that would create a look that was not overdone but yet brought out the best in my features. She nailed it! She will work with you and listens to what you want, and delivers every time. Additionally, all of my bridesmaids loved their makeup, which usually is not the case in the many weddings that I have been in. She is so sweet, and works with your schedule to allow for plenty of trials. I HIGHLY recommend Michelle and promise you will not be disappointed.

When I walked into my trial, Michelle was so friendly and so accommodating and really listened to what I wanted. My maid of honor actually wasn't going to have her makeup done because she's had so many scary experiences, but when I walked out of my trial, I called her and told her we were in good hands.   Michelle of Lipstick & Luster was one of my favorite vendors to work with for my September wedding. She was always quick to respond to any questions I had, and worked with me to create the perfect look for my wedding day. She is an incredibly talented makeup artist, and her cheerful attitude made the beginning of my wedding day so relaxed and fun! My makeup looked very elegant and natural, and lasted throughout the entire evening. I highly recommend her services to any bride who wants a picture-perfect, natural look for their wedding day!

I wasn't really sure about the colors I wanted, so after my first trial, I wanted to try something different. She set up a second trial without hesitation. In preparation of my wedding day weeks before, I was trying to accommodate my bridal party and female family members (moms and aunts) in getting their makeup done for the wedding day. I realized it was going to be too much to have Michelle do everyone's make-up, so Michelle so kindly offered to find another makeup artist that would be able to go to a second location to do my family member's makeup, to alleviate stress for my wedding day. She was so accommodating....which is so important on your wedding day. And to top it all off, she has the best sense of humor, we would laugh so much every time we were together!! I highly recommend Michelle! I love her!!

  Michelle is a miracle worker. Her work is the best I've ever seen! She really listened to everyone and created individual looks that made everyone look their best. My girlfriends and Mom's agree =). And on a side note she is the sweetest, most fun person. Definately great to have her there all day. You would be silly not to call her!!

  Michelle and Shanell did a wonderful job of making me feel like the most beautiful girl in the world on my big day! They were efficient, friendly, and great at calming the nerves of all of the girls in my party. They enjoy what they do and it shows!

  I am so glad I decided to book Michelle on our wedding day. I had a crazy lineup of mothers and bridesmaids who all wanted to get their makeup done. Though it was a little chaotic getting everyone organized and ready to go, Michelle was super nice, accommodating and professional the whole time! She also was very concerned about my well being and made sure I had as stress free a day as possible! I could not be more grateful for that as I had a lot on my plate and if not for her I'm sure I would have been an absolute mess!
  
  In regard to my and everyone else's makeup, well, it was absolutely superb! We had initially come up with something very different for me during our consultation but on the day of we decided to go in a different direction. In the end it was the better choice, and my makeup was perfect and timeless! In regard to all my bridesmaids, she did exactly what everyone wanted and they were all really pleased with the results!
  
  She also uses quality products! We had to get an early start due to the number of ladies getting their makeup done, and everyone's makeup lasted well into the night! Thanks, Michelle, for doing such an excellent job!
