  Lisa is the best!

  Lisa was a photographer for another event that I was a part of. I loved her energy and her photos were beautiful. When my husband and I chose a date for our wedding I knew that I wanted Lisa to be our photographer. We had a small wedding and the date was selected pretty last minute. She was so flexible in working with our schedule.
  
  Her questionnaires about ourselves and the event were really helpful. It helped us get a better idea of what kind of photos we wanted. We got so many compliments on the photos.

  Lisa is an amazing artist!

  We absolutely LOVED working with Lisa! From the first time we spoke on the phone, we immediately clicked. She was patient with us in the beginning of the whole wedding planning process and listened to our wants and concerns. Lisa has a keen eye for natural light and will do just about anything to make sure that she has the best shot. Lisa isn't afraid to jump on the side of a gazebo to get a good dancing action shot, or hide behind a bush to capture a special moment. We would work with her again in a heartbeat and feel so lucky to have worked with her and her daughter Jaz on our special day!

  Do yourself a favor and hire Lisa

  We are so so glad that we found Lisa! She made the whole process seamless and stress free from start to finish. She was organized, proactive in reaching out to us, and responded very quickly anytime I emailed or called. She has a great pre-event process and system in place that guided us through providing the information she needed to make sure we had everything we wanted. The shoot was fun and relaxed, which is saying a lot for this bride and groom! The end results were beautiful and she captured so many beautiful little moments that we hadn't even noticed during the day. I can't recommend Lisa enough and would work with her again in a heartbeat.

  My wedding was on June 4th, 2017 at the Sequoia Mansion in Placerville, Ca.
  This review is for the services we received by Lisa and an assistant the day of our wedding.
  Our photographer, Lisa Richmond was AWESOME! We booked her for our engagement photos, which I highly recommend! Dottie and Lisa were more then just photographer or florist, they were personable and caring. They went above and beyond what the contract stated. As the bride I was pretty emotional before the ceremony and they both were there supporting me and cared so much. It's hard to describe moments like that...but let's just say not many people who are contracted for your big day would go out of their way like that.

  This September, Lisa Richmond photographed our riverside wedding. She has one of the best artistic eyes in the business, not to mention her wonderfully cheerful personality. She made the photo shoot so much fun, and as a man, that is something I didn't think could happen. She was very attentive and was able to capture moments that I never would have expected. This is something that you really can't put a price on. In twenty years from now, my wife and I will look back at these photos and be able to remember every single detail of our special day like it was yesterday. This is what you should look for in your wedding photographer. Lisa did everything and more. We are so lucky to have her as ours. I will be referring Lisa to any and all of my friends and family who are getting married or if they want a family portrait. Lisa, you are the BEST!

  This post is delinquent by a couple months, but we wanted to share our memorable experience utilizing Lisa Richmond Photography. I saw Lisa Richmond’s art for the first time in the fall of 2014. Lisa photographed our dear friend’s wedding in Winters, CA. So, when Linda and I became engaged in 2015, we knew immediately who we wanted to record our engagement and wedding day on 9/23/16. Luckily, Lisa was available!
  
  Prior to meeting Lisa for our engagement photos, we had chatted on the phone a couple times so Lisa could get an idea about Linda and my love story. She was very easy to talk with and we had several good laughs before meeting in person. I told Lisa that neither Linda or I cared to have our pictures taken so I wished her luck with that!
  Lisa knew we planned on getting married at a winery and she suggested we bring a bottle of wine to open during our engagement shoot. After sharing some wine and stories together, she started working her magic. Lisa made the shoot fun and effortless so the pictures looked natural. Her use of light and her timing are phenomenal. She caught our relationship and personalities digitally!
  
  Finally, our long-awaited day came! When Lisa arrived to our wedding, we greeted her as a friend and not just a photographer, since a friendship formed between all of us. Lisa captured every moment of our special day and more. She roamed the vineyards with us to obtain the perfect sunset moments, and she was knocked around on the dance floor like a pinball by some guests getting their groove on…just so she could seize our moments!
  We were delighted by Lisa’s artistic eye, professionalism, and her great personality. We will definitely utilize her for future gatherings as well as share a glass of wine when possible! We highly recommend Lisa if you want to beautifully capture your special occasion.

  Our review is long overdue - it’s been a busy year for us, but we wanted to make sure we could give Lisa a great review! TLDR: Hire Lisa - she’s a blast to work with and her pictures came out AMAZING!
  
  Lisa helped us stay organized by discussing our timelines and also making some great suggestions about how and when would be good times to get in pictures. We also appreciated how she was so well prepared - she came a day early (she was driving all the way down to Santa Clara!) to check out the venue with us and already knew the time of sunset and had some great ideas about where and when to take pictures to get the best light. Though we wanted some set photos with our families and maybe a few with just us, we wanted the majority to be candid shots capturing the fun of the afternoon and evening - Lisa knew exactly what we were talking about.
  
  The day of the wedding, Lisa arrived right on time before the ceremony and began setting up and snapping candid pictures of us and our friends right away. She was able to take pictures ranging from getting ready to the wedding to the cocktail hour and all night during the dinner and dancing. We had two formal picture settings that were flawlessly incorporated into our timeline - one for formal family pictures and one for just us. Lisa and her assistant Rachael were super easy to work with - she had great ideas for composing shots, kept things light, and had us smiling throughout all the sessions. Throughout the wedding, Lisa was able to capture some amazing moments - friends laughing and having fun, family members dancing the night away, and some really amazing shots that we’ll cherish of our parents smiling and laughing.
  
  Lisa sent a nice note after the wedding about the fun she had and in less than two weeks, she already had a “teaser” on her blog followed soon after (another couple weeks) with the full gallery.

She put Brian and me at ease that our day would look and feel like whatever we wanted it to. Once she showed us some of her work, we were sold – plain and simple. She simply LOVES what she does and she wants you to love what she does for you. All I can say is we love her. She is professional yet fun.   We are a mature blended family. It was important to have our entire family feel involved and recognized in the wedding event photos. Lisa was wonderful in making sure that this happened! We have wonderful photos and a happy family.
