    When my fiance and I were shopping for photographers, we first heard of Lisa from her mother,who is a renowned photographer herself and highly recommended her. Lisa was the first photographer we met with and we instantly felt a connection with her. I did not bother to look any further. My fiance and I are very quiet, easygoing people and do not do well with pushy personalities. Lisa has a very gentle quiet and thoughtful way about her that really appealed to us. And we got the same feedback from our families and friends a the wedding. She puts people at ease right away. We had a very limited budget for the wedding, but Lisa was able to work with us and customize a package that fit our needs and budget, something most photographers do not generally do. Although she spent only 4 hours with us on the day of the wedding, looking at the pictures it did not feel like that. She was able to get pictures of every event and guest at the wedding. No one was overlooked. Her pictures have a very ethereal quality about them that almost makes them look like paintings. We even requested an additional session with Lisa after seeing her work and realizing that we wanted more pictures in our wedding dress and more detail pictures. Lisa was flexible and agreed to meet us right away. She listened to all my requests and executed them perfectly. Thanks to Lisa we have a beautiful memoir of our wedding day. If I had to do this again, I would definitely hire Lisa. I highly recommend her to all our friends and family. The amazing thing about Lisa is that you can see how passionate she is about her work. She never gets tired and keeps trying until she gets the perfect "shot". It is obvious that this is not just a job but a passion for her and she is a perfectionist! We enjoyed our time with her! And wish her all the very best in all her future endeavors.

    Lisa captured one of the most special moments my fiance and I have ever had - the proposal. I couldn't have picked a better photographer to be there with us during that intimate moment. I was so happy Lisa was there! The photographs are absolutely gorgeous and we are using one as our save-the-date. I am in the process of putting together an album because there are so many fabulous shots!!

    Lisa was AMAZING! I would wholeheartedly recommend her services. Lisa was flexible, personable and not pushy at all. She knew what we wanted and did a fantastic job capturing the day. I had heard from friends that photographers can often take away from moments and get in the way, and my husband and I did not feel this way at all. She also hand delivered the finished albums and we looked through them together which was so nice of her to take her own time to do this. We would absolutely use Lisa again, in a heartbeat!

    My husband and I were just recently looking through our wedding and rehearsal dinner albums. We actually do this several times each year. There is a memory in every picture that transports us to a profound day in both of our lives.

    When I was planniing our wedding I told my husband that a wedding photographer was the most important element of our wedding. I knew that the flowers, the food and music would fade into memories. Pictures are the only way to capture what memory forgets. Now, to choose a photographer....

    Lisa Vollmer is from my hometown of Great Barrington, Massachusetts. I had seen and admired her photography over the years. At the time of my wedding I lived far away in Denver, Colorado. Our destination wedding was planned for even further away--San Diego, California. I hoped Lisa could be our wedding photographer, but I wasn't sure if she did destination weddings.

    I called Lisa Vollmer Photography to see if there was any chance she would do a destination wedding. Luckily, she has great experience with destination weddings and was happy to accomodate. She was very flexible and understanding of our unique wedding plans and visions.

    In the end, my husband and I were so thrilled that Lisa Vollmer could photograph our wedding. Her ability to capture the overall vibe of our wedding weekend went far beyond our expectations.

    Lisa Vollmer's artistic abilities as a photographer are exceptional. However, there is more to consider when choosing a wedding photographer. What we found was that Lisa blended extreme professionalism with her talent. On top of that, her personality is so naturally charming that she fit in effortlessly with our diverse group of wedding guests and made them all feel so comfortable while being photographed. Lisa's combination of talent, professionalism and great personality show with the finished product.

    My wife and I both agreed that our wedding was the most perfect day we could've imagined..... it really was a "dream" wedding! So simple and just beautiful. You were wonderful to work with -professional, easy-going, and it felt great to see you enjoying the photography. You have a very calming presence about you and it was such a comfort to us all, on that day. We had feared that a photographer might be pushy and intrusive, and would detract from the magic of the moment. Your soft-spoken and kind, gentle nature was just what we needed. We are endlessly grateful for that and would certainly recommend you to anyone that needs a photographer in the future. You are a true professional! ~Thank you~
