We heard about this venue through a friend that had recently attended a wedding - we loved everything it! Angie was so responsive during the planning process- we were able to see the venue multiple times. We got so much feedback about how beautiful and unique the venue was from many of our guests! The getting ready rooms were very spacious. There are so many amazing places for pictures. The Stable and Village Hall are beautifully designed! We booked all of our other vendors off of their recommended vendor list and could not be more grateful! They were all wonderful!

It’s everything we were looking for in a unique venue. There are several choices for the ceremony such as the church, stable or gardens. The village hall is perfect for dinner and dancing. We were going to hold the social hour in the saloon, but the weather didn’t permit that. It’s a photographer’s paradise, too, with all the different buildings and areas to take pictures in. The venue is a bit remote and a few miles from any hotels. If you aren't driving, you should prearrange transportation as you cannot get an Uber from the location. Staff were easy to work with and helped us out in so many ways. We highly recommend the venue.

The Little Log House Pioneer Village was a dream come true for our wedding venue. Our wedding was absolutely perfect, we continue to get compliments on every aspect of our wedding. First off, the grounds and spaces are GORGEOUS! In addition, it is so affordable, especially considering everything included. I feel so blessed to have found this wedding venue. Finally, the team was amazing to work with, they answered questions throughout the entire process and provided incredible guidance. I could not recommend this venue more. To Angie and the entire team, thank you for helping bring my dreams to life!

Little Log House is seriously a dream venue. We had so much fun and our guests kept saying all night how much they loved the venue. We liked that we could spend the entire day on the property - starting with getting ready in the bridal and groom suites all the way through our ceremony in Sylvia's garden, social hour at the saloon, and reception in the village hall. Not only is the property gorgeous and unique, but the team at LLH was so helpful and kind throughout the entire planning process. They went above and beyond and we are so grateful for all that they did to help make our day wonderful. We can't recommend LLH enough!!

We had so much fun at our wedding at the Little Log House Pioneer Village! We got so many compliments about what a beautiful, great, and unique venue it was. We also got a number of compliments on how much fun everyone had. The team at LLH was also very easy to work with to make sure that they know all of your details in advance and that you have everything you need. They are also very flexible and accommodating so that you can have the wedding that you want. We had an amazing day at the Little Log House!

Little Log House is AMAZING! My husband and I had our dream wedding here in July 2022 and are so incredibly thankful we chose this venue. Not only is the venue absolutely gorgeous, but the team at LLH is incredible and so easy to work with. We spent the entire wedding day at the venue – we got ready in their bridal suites, took photos in the garden, had our ceremony in The Stable and reception in Village Hall. The entire day was so dreamy and truly one of a kind. We could not recommend this venue and amazing team enough – we are so thankful we found LLH.

Choosing the Little Log House for our wedding was the best decision we made when planning our wedding. They made the planning and day of go so smoothly! First, the property is beautiful! Throughout our wedding day and after we had so many guests compliment our wedding and the venue saying 'this is the best wedding venue we have ever seen'. Everything was very well maintained and you can tell they really do care about the details. There are so many photo opportunities at the venue! The staff was very flexible and easy to work with! We had many questions during the planning process and they always had quick answers and were able to provide advice and feedback from their past experiences. They offer a nice list of the catering vendors that have varying prices so having affordable food is an option. The bar list and prices are the best for any venue we looked at. These two things were huge bonus's for us! No hidden/surprise fees that you hear of at some other venues- which is a huge relief! All of the buildings have so much character and detail that we needed very little decor- such a money and time saver! They allowed us to use the grounds for our engagement pictures which was a huge plus for our photographer so she had ideas for the wedding day. Overall, I could not have imagined getting married anywhere but the LLH. It was a great value for us and, it was incredibly beautiful. Thank you Angie, Tiffany and everyone else at the LLH!

I don't even know where to begin with this place! It is truly a hidden gem! Stunning venue! Very unique! And the staff.....don't even get me started on how helpful and responsive they are! 10/10 would chose this place over and over again!

Honestly can’t say enough good things about Little Log House….this is such a beautiful venue, so well managed, and provided everything we needed for our special day. Angie and the team are so responsive, reasonable, and the value is unmatched. If you love rustic/chic do not hesitate!! We couldn’t be happier. Thank you to Little Log House for giving us the wedding of our dreams!!

Seriously - go visit it! We feel like we’re in on a secret with how unique, beautiful, and still affordable this place is! All of our guests wanted to know how we found it, and loved walking around the property during cocktail hour. We feel so lucky to have found such a beautiful venue within our budget, and we had great communication with the staff. You can tell they’ve done many weddings, and we felt completely confident all of our wishes would be met with no worries. We could not be happier with LLH and staff!

The venue is beautiful and there are tons of different options for the ceremony location. They have 160 acres of space to utilize and explore and they were great to work with even during a pandemic. Angie was super responsive and very patient with us as we made what felt like weekly changes to our wedding. We had a Friday wedding so we were able to set up on Thursday and we had the venue until 1:00 a.m. on Saturday. Getting married at Little Log was the best decision we made!

Little Log House was absolutely perfect! If you are looking for a one stop shop for a lot of your wedding needs, this is the place. The staff was so accommodating and friendly, the grounds are stunning, and the location in Hastings was great for a wedding close to the cities. With all this in mind, we thought this venue would be way out of our budget but that wasn't the case. This is a very reasonably priced venue for the twin cities for what's all included. We had last minutes changes that they were extremely accommodating with and went over the top to help make our day perfect. We would highly recommend for anyone to consider as a venue option.

This venue is the fairytale of your dreams! Very professional and easy to work with. The garden was perfect for our fairytale theme. The garden is EXQUISITE! There were even butterflies floating around during the ceremony!! They have the most perfect bridal and groom suites to get ready in and trust me, you will be thankful they have a temperature controlled reception hall! We recieved raving reviews from all of our guests! The pictures turned out amazing and we were even lucky enough to get some shots with a double rainbow! Our wedding was more magical than I could have ever hoped for, and if you choose Little Log House Pioneer Village you will not be disappointed!!

WE LOVE THIS VENUE…where do you even begin!? I stumbled upon this hidden gem doing a Google search for a rustic barn wedding…and I’m so glad I did! I knew as soon as we drove onto the property, I wanted to book this venue. This was the first and only wedding venue we toured! My husband was so wrong when he thought we were going to tour a farmer’s junkyard! This is so much more then just a wedding venue. However, this is a place you absolutely need to see, there is no way to describe this place and do it justice! Everything from the location, grounds and buildings are immaculate! You would not even need a ton of décor as the venue by itself is beautiful! You and your guest literally get the entire village for the day! Angie and Jessie have been an incredible help every step of the way (along with the entire LLHPV staff). They are so flexible and truly go above and beyond what you would expect. They were there to answer any question and put any concern you may have at ease! Planning a wedding during a pandemic added an extra level of wedding stress, but they were right there to help ease any concerns that I had. We had our wedding in their new stable, which is straight out of a magazine…and air conditioned! There are endless opportunities for the perfect photos at this venue, making it a photographer’s dream! We loved that everything from the rooms to get ready to the reception hall were at one location. All our guests and wedding party raved about how beautiful, fun, and unique this wedding venue is…even the teenage boys! This venue has so much to offer for guests of any age! I would 100% recommend this wedding venue to anyone looking to have their dream wedding. I hope to come back to LLHPV again in the future as a guest!

Little log house was absolutely perfect for our big day. We got married on 12/31/2019 and it was the best NYE party ever. They are all so hands on and there even a majority of the night goes smoothly for you. We ended up using the stable for the ceremony as well, and I put candles all the way down the aisle that were lit up. We got married by the fireplace under the chandelier and had a beautiful flower arrangement made for on top of the fireplace in there that we then transferred to behind us for the reception as we sat under the chandelier in there as well. So many special touches, and again they were so accommodating for us. I bought all my own linens, chargers, centerpieces, and signage for the venue so they let us come in two days prior to get it all set up even. You can take your engagement photos on site if you are getting married here! Also, wedding day photos are amazing!!! So many fun places to take photos on site. Truly looks like a little town. Being from Cottage Grove it was cool to see the drive-in sign there and they even put our names up on it with a congratulatory message! Everything was so so special and was amazing partying into the new year with our closest family and friends.
We had about 200 people very comfortably in the stable and reception hall with no issues. They were flexible with booze, have many caterers to choose from, and no requirement on who to use otherwise (florist, dj, lighting, etc.) I wish we could relive the day again. Thanks so much to all the girls at LLH for our absolutely amazing day and making it so special for us.

Little Log House was such an incredible, perfect venue for our big day! This is an affordable venue especially for what’s included in the price! We used the bridal suites, church, and reception hall, and many outside locations for photos. This place has it all! Our big thing was finding a venue where we can have the ceremony and reception at the same place. There were so many amazing locations for pictures we didn’t even get to utilize them all! It rained on our day and we found multiple covered spots outside and the reception hall is so beautiful we took photos inside too!

Every part of our day was perfect thanks to this amazing team! They answered all my questions super quick and made our big day such a breeze. They are so flexible and genuinely want all their couples to have an amazing day. There’s also no hidden costs and unnecessary fees like you see with many other venues. We also had SOOOO many compliments on the venue, people on social media we didn’t even know were reaching our after seeing our photos. Everyone kept asking how we found such a beautiful and unique venue for our wedding. I can’t imagine having our special day anywhere else, Little Log House and the team were incredible to work with! Our photos turned out amazing because of how beautiful the entire grounds are, inside and outside. I hope to attend a wedding here in the future, we want any excuse to come back to this amazing place!

We just got married here last weekend and cannot begin to explain how happy we were with the venue! We got so many compliments on how unique and beautiful the venue was and the garden is incredible. The staff was great and very helpful along the way! I would recommend this venue to anyone!

My daughter had always dreamed of the "perfect" Christmas wedding and this was the perfect venue for the entire day! The staff was friendly and the wedding and reception were like something you would see in a movie. The entire place was awesome for pictures too. All the guests loved it and frequently asked how we found this place. Long and short - simply perfect!

Little Log House is the perfect venue for any couple! My husband and I got married here last year and it was such a magical day. We loved renting out a whole village that our guests enjoyed before, during and after our wedding. Guests were in all of our romantic ceremony inside the church as well as our breathtaking reception in the Village. There was plenty of space for a DJ, large dance floor, bar service and photo booth!

The Little Log House Pioneer Village was the perfect place for a wedding. Not only was it appealing to my husband and I, but I can't even tell you how many guests came up to us to tell us how awesome and unique the venue was! We couldn't agree more. With so many places to take photos and roam around, you are sure that your wedding will not be like any other! Everyone was so helpful throughout our planning process and even throughout our day, that it allowed things to run smooth and as planned. What a great day we had and we owe a lot to our venue; The Little Log House.

We got married here on September 1st, 2018. Now over a month later and we are still receiving compliments about how beautiful, unique and picturesque our venue was! Not only was it absolutely breath taking from the garden to the reception hall but the staff truly made it such an enjoyable experience. From the beginning they went above and beyond to always make us feel at ease and accommodate all of our requests. The venue has so much to offer in just one location! We could not have picked a more perfect place to spend one the best days of our lives.

I absolutely love this venue!!! I cannot say enough good things about Little Log House Pioneer Village! It is such a gorgeous venue and all of my guests complimented it!! The family that works there is great to work with and Angie is very responsive to all emails! We greatly enjoyed having our wedding here and are so happy that we found this hidden gem of a venue!!

This venue is absolutely beautiful! Our guest had so much fun walking around and looking at all there is to see and had so many good things to say. Everyone was so easy to work! Thank you for making our day so memorable and perfect!

There are moments when we look back at some of the pictures of our wedding day and are so glad that we chose this venue. The church was gorgeous, the hall was perfect, and the grounds are immaculate.
Questions were answered promptly, there weren't any hidden costs, any help we needed was accommodated, and the flexibility of when we held our rehearsal dinner was wonderful.
The best part was it also gave our guests something to do between the wedding and the dinner. They loved walking the grounds, the church felt intimate and the hall felt large but cozy (there was a wedding held the Friday night before our Saturday night wedding. The hall was set up for probably 250 people. Our wedding was about 115 people. The hall seemed so perfect for the 250 people that I was worried it would look weird for half the tables and people in it. It did not. It felt right too. They do a great job setting up the tables in a way to make it work.)
If you want a unique venue that you AND your guests will love, this is the place.

We got married at the Little Log House Pioneer Village in June 2016. Wow! What a great experience, Angie was a point of contact and she was fabulous. They were very accommodating to needs and super fast at responding to me emails. We had our ceremony in the church on site and reception at the Village Hall on site. It is so beautiful here and I would definitely recommend considering it as a place for your wedding.
