We truly cannot even begin to say enough amazing things about Amanda from Live well paint often! We were gifted a live painter for our wedding from my husband’s family and Amanda was thankfully the one chosen to paint a truly special moment on our very special day!
From day 1, Amanda and her team were so organized with scheduling phone calls, answering questions, etc. They were always available to help when needed and we felt more than comfortable that she would do an outstanding job on our wedding day.
Let me just say our expectations were EXTREMELY beyond exceeded because the work she did was something we didn’t even know was possible. To see a blank canvas turn into a snapshot of your wedding day and just thinking of the talent it takes to do that is simply incredible - there’s no other way to say it.
Amanda asked us what we envisioned for our painting before wedding day and she gave us some ideas as she has painted at our venue before. However, on the day of she recognized that we were being pulled in directions to take pictures, talk to guests, etc. so didn’t have much time to sit and chat about the details of the painting once we had some ideas in mind based on the weather that day, etc. We were truly blessed with one of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen on our wedding day and everyone gathered to take pictures of us outside with the sunset. Well Amanda, as amazing as she is, went out of her way to take her own picture and pretty much just asked “Are you guys okay with me using the sunset and do you trust me”, and we responded with “absolutely”. Well to say the least, she absolutely blew our minds away with her work. She painted us with the sunset in the back outside of our venue, however also incorporated the details of the inside of our ballroom. We were absolutely speechless for the big reveal and just couldn’t believe our eyes! It’s a moment I know neither of us will forget.
Our families and guests have not stopped complementing the picture and the work that was done because it truly captured every detail of our big day!
Overall, we want to say a huge you to Amanda and her team for making our day so extra special. Because of Amanda’s work, we will be reminded every day when we see our painting of the best day of our lives, and the best moments of it. If you are considering a live painter for your wedding, DO IT and if you are deciding who to use, RUN NOT WALK to book Amanda! Amanda was nothing short of absolutely incredible! She did exactly what we asked her to which was to capture the most important and meaningful moment of the night! She truly took our breath away! Amazing!!!!
Amanda is so beyond talented!!! She brought our sparkly wintery wedding to life in her painting. You could feel the sparkle and glow in it! Amanda is also the sweetest!! Every time I look at Amanda's gorgeous work of art I am transported, feeling all the magic, joy, and love we felt on our wedding day. She is truly the kindest soul and there were so many signs that meeting her was meant to be. From booking via a meaningful winning raffle ticket number, to our first dance song being one that was meaningful to Amanda on our wedding day, and even post-wedding with her spotting cardinals outside her window when she was posting our painting on Instagram - I'd had her include a cardinal along with some other "easter eggs" in the painting to symbolize loved ones who have passed. Amanda was a professional when it came to communication and ensuring that we were on the same page throughout the process, and her work is 100% worth the cost for those who are not lucky enough to win it in a raffle. So if you're on the fence, go ahead and hire Live Well Paint Often for your wedding or any other event - I promise you won't regret it! She will accommodate whatever requests she is able to, but I also highly recommend giving her freedom to create from the heart and you will undoubtedly be in awe of what she delivers. We can't wait to keep enjoying our very own one-of-a-kind Amanda Hawthorne original in our home for a lifetime, and hopefully pass it down for generations to come. Incredible to say the least..
I had booked Amanda over 2 years prior to my wedding. And I’ve been telling everyone I know to book her too. From start to finish was a great experience. But nothing tops my wedding day. My husband and I were supposed to get married outside and had to turn everything indoors because of Mother Nature. Amanda surprised us by painting us at the outdoor ceremony space because she knew how much I wanted to be outside for the foliage. I literally cried at our reveal. Our guests are still talking about the painting and have gave us endless compliments. If you’re thinking about a live painter, look no further. Live Painter
We were unsure at first with all of our wedding expenses if this was something we would be able to do and please let me tell you, if you are able to, you will not regret it! Amanda is so extremely talented and just the kindest human being! We are eternally grateful for the beautiful keepsake she created for us! We are so lucky to have had such a wonderful and talented artist capture a moment in time! It was also so fun for my guests to get to watch her bring our painting to life! Amazing experience!
My husband had actually found Amanda a few years before we even met, and knew that when he got married one day he wanted her to paint the day. I am truly beyond grateful he found her because I can’t imagine the day without her! It’s not just because the painting is absolutely stunning (because it is), or that guests loved watching her in action (because they did), but it’s Amanda’s loving presence on the day truly meant so much. Amanda is the absolute best! I found her on instagram before I was even engaged and knew that she was someone I wanted to be part of my wedding day. The idea of having a piece of art that we can show our kids and grandkids one day was so special to my husband and I, and the investment in Amanda was a no brainer. She is not only so, so talented, but she is incredibly sweet and will be emotionally invested in your day. Our painting is magic and my husband and I couldn't be more grateful. Having Amanda with us on our day was by far one of the best decisions we made throughout the wedding planning process. There isn’t a day that goes by since our big day that we haven’t looked at our painting and been taken right back to one of the greatest moments of our lives. Amanda doesn’t just capture the moment, she captures your essence. She captured the way we love one another. It’s unbelievable how we feel based off of what she painted. Absolutely beautiful artwork!
Amanda did an amazing job painting our portrait of our first dance at our wedding!!!! She hit every detail to the tea. I hit the jackpot when I found Amanda! From the very first moment we spoke I was truly impressed by her professionalism and by her genuine love for what she does! Best wedding vendor decision we made!!
I am speechless when it comes to Amanda! I cried at the reveal at our wedding, the painting was so stunning. We are so happy that we hired Amanda to be a part of our wedding day. I saw live painters online, and have never seen one at a wedding before. I knew once I saw Amanda's work online, we had to have her for our wedding! She was on time, professional, and so talented. Our guests were BLOWN AWAY by her talent. So many of our guests enjoyed watching her. Our painting is everything I could have hoped for, and we will cherish it forever. Every detail was captured so perfectly. I HIGHLY recommend. -

Pure god given talent
There are not enough words to describe how amazing Amanda is, and her talent can’t be compared. From the moment I reached out to her to the day of my wedding she was so professional, flexible, and responsive. It rained the day of my wedding and the ceremony was supposed to be outside. I really wanted to capture the Aesthetic’s of the garden and decorations, but everything had to be moved inside. Amanda was able to create my portrait by combining my indoor ceremony with the outside details. This was a surprise gift from me to my husband and when he saw the finished piece he cried. Her work is truly breathtaking and you will not have any video or photograph that can compare. I could go on and on about how every little detail was captured but just look at the final piece and her work speaks for itself. -

Highlight of my entire wedding day
Seriously if you’re on the fence, take this as your sign to hire Amanda!!! Our painting was the absolute best part of our entire wedding. Our guests can’t stop talking about it and I will treasure it for the rest of my life. Amanda was professional through all communication and so insanely talented! I loved her work when we booked her but when we saw the finished painting the night of the wedding we couldn’t believe it. It looks just like us!!! Highly recommend! -

Amanda created such a heartfelt gift for me and my family to cherish for generations. From the moment I first connected with Amanda, I felt completely comfortable and at ease knowing she would capture the emotions of our wedding day perfectly. Amanda is one of a kind! The best thing I ever did was book Amanda for our wedding day. When our wedding got postponed due to COVID, the first vendor I contacted was Amanda in hopes she was still available for our new wedding date. How relieved I was to hear that she was still available!!! We absolutely LOVE our finished painting!!! What a special & beautiful heirloom we will cherish forever. I found out about live wedding painting probably about a month before my wedding. I did some research and when I saw Amanda’s website I was in love. I reached out to Amanda and she had an opening because a bride had moved her wedding to the following year. I was ecstatic! When I first spoke to Amanda I felt like we had an instant connection. We talked about different things related to the piece she would create for us but I also felt like I was talking to a friend I had known forever. I knew I wanted to have her paint our first dance but other than that I just trusted her process. On the day of the wedding I would watch my guests go up to her throughout the night and the looks on their faces were amazing. You could tell how much they loved to watch her paint and were excited to see the final product. That made me even more excited to see. Once Amanda finished she got my husband and I and let me tell you, this was the absolute best part of my night. I was blown away. I could not stop looking at it! Amanda got so many little details from the sweetheart table, centerpieces, cake and the stunning sunset outside. It was also incredible how she was able to make it look just like us! This is a once in a lifetime, unique piece that you will have the rest of your life and I am so lucky Amanda was able to do this for us. You can tell Amanda loves what she does and she is excellent at it! I would recommend Amanda a thousand times over!!!
