I don't even know where to begin. For starters, the new company name is Hurley Catering. Carlyn was such a gem. We honestly didn't know if she was even real because of how sweet and accommodating she was. We went for a tasting and absolutely fell in love with the food and her staff. She was the ONLY tasting we had or needed before deciding to go with her. She really, really worked within our budget. She was very honest about what we could do through other avenues to save money where we could. She adjusted so many invoices before adding/taking away of things was finalized. There aren't enough good things to say about her. The food was PHENOMENAL!! I had so many guests coming up to during and after the wedding to tell us the food was some of, if not, the best wedding food they've ever had. We had the flank steak and panko crusted chicken with a parmesan sauce. If you need a caterer for your wedding, you won't regret picking them! -

LKN Wedding & Events catering is absolutely fantastic, we not only hired them for our plated dinner at our reception but also for our rehearsal dinner. Their food is so delicious, flavorful and filling that they are worth every bit that they cost! The flexibility and options that they offer is amazing. We were able to offer coffee and cookies to be served from them, when we served our cake, which is something I am still getting lots of compliments about. The variety of drinks helped greatly because I have diabetics in my family so to have the option of unsweet tea at no additional helped keep my mind at ease. The selection that they offer is wonderful as we were able to offer a vegetarian meal for multiple family/friends who were in attendance. We have received and still continue to receive so many compliments about the food that was served, as to how delicious and filling it was and that no one left hungry.
We chose the seated/plated meal option, which yes is the more expensive option, yet well worth it, but they of course have other options available to chose from which is just as fabulous. Please do not overlook this company for any type of occasion, they will make sure all goes absolutely perfect for you and any occasion that you hire them for! -

All of the staff we worked with were amazingly friendly and helpful. They did everything to make our day as beautiful as we imagined. Everyone we met with LKN was truly invested in making sure we had the best day ever. While we greeted our guests and took pictures they made sure we actually got HOT food and appetizers brought to us so that we wouldn't miss out on the deliciousness while we were being good hosts. -

I really enjoyed working with LKN weddings and events while planning our wedding. The food at a wedding is extremely important and our food was amazing!! Ive had so many guests tell me that our food was the best they’ve ever had at a wedding. They are also so friendly, kind, and of course their food is so tasty!! I highly recommend! -

LKN was such a pleasure to work with! We went in for a taste test and knew we wanted to work with them. Ms. Patti is so sweet and they are so accommodating!
On wedding day they made their set up look so amazing! We did the pasta bar, and everything was so delicious! Everyone was very pleased with the food and the service. They went above and beyond to make all of us happy.
Bonus: The power was out at our venue and we weren’t sure when it would turn back on. One of the LKN staff members (Will find out his name) went out of his way to go and get a generator which literally saved our whole day. Without it we wouldn’t have had music or lights. We will forever be grateful to them! -

Serving a large wedding party while dealing with the threat of the corona virus was a challenge successfully met by the staff of LKN Weddings. Great food and friendly prompt service. Southern hospitality at its best. -

LKN Catering is amazing. We had our tasting with them in January 2021for our May 15th, 2021 wedding, and it was delicious! We knew right away we wanted to move forward with them. At the tasting they brought out a few items from each part of their menu to give you an idea and nothing disappointed. The servers were extremely professional as well. The hostess answered any and all questions we had about the day of (when is the food made? how's it transported? what's the most popular items? Can we sub a side for a 2nd entree?) and provided a paper we could use to jot down the items we liked for reference.
When the wedding came, everything was still as delicious as the day of the tasting (we did buffet style). Literally multiple guests came up to us during and after the wedding complimenting the food. Fortunately my husband and I had our planner and the venue coordinator keeping us fed the entire time too so I can vouch that it was just so good. Get the caprese skewers and the spinach & artichoke phyllo cups as apps! My personal favorites. -

This company goes above and beyond to help you make the perfect menu for your special day! We were invite to multiple tastings and they came with their own decor, that even matched mine, that made the food set up look flawless. Don't even get me started on how amazing the food and desserts are- my guests are still talking about our meal and how wonderful it was! This is a top notch vender and they made the whole process down to the final product a really amazing experience! -

I cannot begin to describe how amazing this food was! We went through several tastings with LKN, Carlyn and her husband are so accommodating, genuine, and make sure any questions are answered. You have so a great variety of choices to pick from, you honestly cannot make the wrong decision. Our only problem was trying to narrow down our selections because everything we tried was absolutely amazing! Kim was on site the day of the wedding, she was so helpful and went out of her way accommodate my husband and I, as well as our wedding party. We were served hors d'oeuvres set aside specifically for the wedding party while taking photos after the ceremony and were checked on throughout the night. It’s been a little under two weeks and our guests are still complimenting the food and how great the staff was. We couldn’t have asked for a better caterer and team to work with! We highly recommend LKN for any catered event you may need, you won’t regret it! -

My husband and I had our wedding at The Arbors Events in Cleveland, NC. Although The Arbors only provides a list of 3 caterers to choose from, I can't imaging have selected another caterer other than LKN Weddings and Events. We were blown away by the quality of the food at the initial tasting. We also loved how it was presented. Employee Patti Dayton was amazing to work with, and even invited us to a special tasting event a couple months before our wedding. Patti was super responsive to all emails and helped customize our meal and the decor. She was also very sweet when I told her I was freaking out because it was supposed to rain our wedding day! After dinner was served, and even days after the wedding, guests came up to us and told us how amazing the food was. I think we received more compliments about the food than anything else at the wedding. Having good food was important to us, as that is what most guests are looking for. We will definitely be using LKN again for future events! -

Mother of the bride
Patti Dayton with LKN Wedding & Events Catering prepared a post-wedding brunch that far surpassed our expectations. She was very flexible with our requested menu and even altered a recipe to my daughter's request. She and her staff arrived at our out of the way location promptly and had everything set up ahead of schedule. The food was delicious, staff beyond helpful, and the presentation was extraordinary! I will let the pictures speak for themselves. I cannot thank you all enough for providing a wonderful send off brunch for our guests!!! I got so many comments from guests on how tasty the food from LKN was! Initially, I was impressed by the very professional food tasting where I got to try everything from appetizers to dessert. Patti responded to my emails promptly, and on the day of my wedding she was there to help set everything up. The staff went above and beyond to not only decorate the catering tables, but to help make my cake and photobooth table look nice as well! During the cocktail hour, I had expressed my concern about eating the appetizers, so the staff made sure to bring food and water out while we were taking pictures. Loved working with them! -

LKN Wedding & Events Catering did an amazing job at our daughter’s wedding! The meal was simply delicious! We had so many compliments on how good the meal was! The servers and head server were so pleasant to work with! They all went above and beyond in making sure that everything ran smoothly! Carlyn was so very kind and was amazing to work with also! We couldn’t have been more pleased and we highly recommend this catering service to anyone who is looking for an amazing caterer! -

I highly recommend LKN! LKN makes amazing food and the people who own LKN are super sweet and easy to work with! We had many compliments on the food from LKN at our wedding! Everyone worked so well together to make sure supper went smoothly. Thank you LKN! :)
