Beautiful space in central DC
The space is industrial but gorgeous, and worked well for holding both our ceremony and reception. It's enough of a blank slate that you can make it your own, but the art on the walls really helps to add something special to your decor. We worked with Michelle and she couldn't have been nicer. A nice bonus was the ability to add extra hours for set-up, and for next to nothing; this gave us the time needed to have a site-specific ribbon backdrop installed. Loved this venue. -

We held our October wedding at Long View Gallery. A lot of our guests said it was the coolest wedding venue they’d ever seen! It is a great blank slate if you want to add your own flair, but you also don’t need a lot of décor because of the art on the walls (which saves some money vs. other "blank slates" we looked at). We did both ceremony and reception there, and we flipped back and forth from the front room to the back for our 150-person event (ceremony in the front, cocktails in back, dinner in front, cocktails in back). You will need to provide tables, chairs, bars, etc. We worked with Michelle leading up to and during the event, and she was always incredibly helpful and responsive. We were also able to do our rehearsal there the day before. It is a bit on the expensive side, but we thought it was worth every penny! -

Amy Sent on 08/15/2017We got married at the Long View Gallery in August and it was the ideal space for our wedding! We used it for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. It fit 150 guests comfortably. I primarily worked with Michele, who was amazing. She was very responsive, very easy to communicate with, and helped with all of my millions of questions throughout our planning process. The space was great, and the artwork was perfect. I would highly recommend the gallery! -
User2389394 Sent on 10/25/2015We just got married at Long View and what an amazing space! We had everything on site - ceremony, cocktails, and reception. It took a lot of coordination with the other vendors because it basically comes as a blank canvas (with the exception of art on the walls), but it what a great blank canvas it was! Could not have asked for more or better! -
User2037046 Sent on 02/11/2015The staff at Longview I will have to say are amazing to work with. I had to visit the site on many occasions with other vendors and they were so accommodating. It is such an amazing venue and something different from your typical hotel ball room. They give great advice and they are amazing to work with. -
User974185 Sent on 10/15/2012This venue was very special to us. It defined who we were as a couple. The staff was extremely friendly, organized, very friendly, and supportive. I couldn't have asked for a better venue. My guests really loved the artwork and space. It's a small gem in the middle of a a busy city. Thank you to the staff for their assistance in making the our special day happen for us. -
User2051599 Sent on 02/25/2015Everything about having my wedding at LongView was fabulous -- the space was exactly what we wanted and people are still raving to us about how unique it was. Planning was not the smoothest of processes along the way - but I think the gallery was still getting accustomed to growing pains and at the end of the day, not one thing was painful working with them.

User2448256 Sent on 11/30/2015Absolutely beautiful space if you are looking for a unique venue. We held the both the ceremony and reception here, and it was wonderful. Loved the location and the art on display at the time of our wedding. We chose from a specified list of caterers, who brought in all of the food, dinnerware, and furniture, as Long View does not provide any of this.
We were married on a hot summer day and due to the large windows at Long View, the staff was not able to cool it down, so it was quite hot the entire evening. Other than that, I have no complaints and would absolutely recommend it. -
User2486651 Sent on 12/30/2015Working with Michele in the weeks leading up to the event was wonderful - she was very accommodating and had great ideas on how to make our event flow. Unfortunately, in the months leading up to the event, we found out that several changes were being made to the actual venue (e.g. outdoor patio was being removed). We weren't given any added value or reimbursement for something that really made the venue for us. We were then faced with dealing with a construction site right outside the venue. All in all, it was still a beautiful venue and wonderful day. -
User1984216 Sent on 12/25/2014Beautiful space, perfect background and setting for the urban wedding we wanted. We even purchased a piece of art for the memory! However, working with the staff proved challenging. They never remembered who we were through the process, quoted wrong times and were adamant about things that were in our contract. It was a bit unprofessional, but of course it all worked out phenomenal in the end so that part was good!
